I had a great experience with this plumber from my initial phone call where he clearly told me what to expect in terms of price and service to the actual installation. He was on time, installed the expansion tank in a timely manner, was very neat, and even gave me great advice on a couple of additional plumbing issues I was concerned about. A big added bonus was that Brian Sloggy is just a pleasant, nice guy that was really easy to do business with and I would strongly recommend him.

I purchased the $39 deal for plumbing home inspection and replacing one toilet flapper. Mr. Sloggy responded via email very quickly and called before coming to let me know traffic was a bear and he'd be a bit late. He was very professional and checked my pressure regulator and found it was high. He adjusted it a bit. Also pointed out that I have a few polybutelene pipes that should be replaced. I've had several plumbers here over the past 2 years and not one mentioned, or even checked, the water pressure or pipes even though one of them worked on many different sinks, tubs, toilets and pipes here. Mr. Sloggy replaced a flapper and a fill valve and removed an add-on toilet bidet. He wrote up an extensive description of my plumbing and the few recommendations he had. I didn't have time for him to do them at the time. He knows what he is doing and wastes no time, although he was very patient with me! I will definitely be using him in the future.

Great! With all the leaks I had my water bill had doubled--back to normal now! Was very quick at scheduling an appt with us! :-)

Contacted me via email promptly and called when he was on the way. Checked everything in the house that had to do with water without me even asking!

Late evening Friday I noticed backup in my shower and tub and realized I had a sewer drain clog. Saturday morning at about 7:30 am called and left a message asking if he could come out and fix. Received a return phone very shortly afterwards from Mr. Sloggy and said he would make it out in about an hour or hour + He came out, listened to my issue. Diagnosed it. Unclogged the sewer lines. Showed me a video of some possible future issues with the flow of my sewer line. All went great. Only reason for B on price is that all customers believe cost is to high. :) It can always be lower in our opinions. I will though be calling him again to do some more work and help with a renovation in my basement. He was extremely nice and helpful.

Plumber was friendly and courteous. Needs to improve on responsiveness and punctuality. Although initial contact was almost immediate, somehow he got confused on the date and time. He did immediately correct the mistake and came right out.

That turned out very well. The plumber came out and replaced and repaired my garage disposal. He installed a plumbing fixture in my half bathroom sink. He completed the work in less than an hour. I already recommend him to other home owners and they also had positive experiences.

Brian promptly responded once we had purchased the deal online. He arrived at the promised time. As he did the tune-up, he explained everything to my husband, and gave us a full quote before performing any additional work. Once we agreed, the work was done quickly. Appreciated that for part of the quote we declined, Brian explained to my husband how he could fix it on his own. All in all, a good experience and we would use him again in the future.

I even had the faucet already, and he charged me a large fee! I didn't feel like this was a deal.

Brian was fantastic from the first few moments of the phone call. He was able to come out immediately to check out the issue we were having. He was professional and explained everything to us. I would most certainly use Brian for any future plumbing issues.

He was very pleasant. Answered several questions I had regarding water heater and plumbing in general. He was very honest and made recommendations for me to save money.

During the water tank inspection Brian detected a small leak detected coming from the water tank Thermal Expansion Tank unit - (TET). The TET was close to 14 years old and appeared corroded at its base. Brian had a replacement on his truck and performed the replacement on the spot. All service was performed without making a mess. Very professional and courteous. Would use him again.

Everything went beautifully with them. He was extra, extra nice, pleasant, neat, orderly and organized. I intend to call him again. I've told my neighbors about him. He was really helpful and I just really liked him. He's been in business a long time. He was perfect. If I called him with any problems, he would be right back out and fix it. That's worth a lot. He did just what I needed. He did a lot of little things for me. He couldn't have been more professional and yet, he was very relaxed and pleasant. He wasn't stuffy at all. He was very personable. I asked him to leave me some cards, so I could tell my neighbors about him.

Mr Sloggy had installed a water pressure regulaor several months ago and a humming noise was audible every time faucett or toilets flushed I called him to come out and check it He came out today and changed the pvc and also checked toe toilets Replace a handle on my toilet all for no charge,He was very pleasant and proffesional .He was very knowledgeable and explained everything I asked for another estimate to put in pipes/tubing in basement in order to install a kitchen sink Got an estimate and will use him againI would recommend him to anyone that needs a plumberIm very thankful .Now the annoying humming noise is gone thanks to Mr Soggy Frances Luecke

He was on-time and pleasant and fixed things other things that needed to be fixed. His price was reasonable. I would definitely use them again.

The process was very smooth. The provider sent me an email the day I bought the deal to schedule for service. We agreed on a date and time and he showed up promptly and got to work immediately. He explained the process to me as he went about doing the job. I would recommend him to my friends and family.

I called when the time was 30 minutes past the appointment and the plumber had not arrived. He said he'd be there in about 20 minutes. From what he said, I had the impression he'd forgotten the appointment. He arrived about 20-25 minutes later. The plumber gave me an estimate of $199 if he needed to "snake" the lavatory drain, and $135 to unstop it without the machine. He also said to replace the P trap, if needed, would be an additional $79. He removed a wad of hair and unstopped the drain without the need of the machine. He said the toilet had a defective fill valve, so he replaced it for $105. This totaled $$240. I asked him to tighten the kitchen faucet which was sliding around when the faucet was moved side to side from the small garbage disposal sink to the regular sink. He said I should recall the plumber who put it in to tighten it; otherwise he would charge me an additional $79 to tighten the faucet, so I did not have him tighten the faucet. I had paid $69 on my VISA, and I gave him a check for the additional $90. The total time he was working on my plumbing was one hour and one quarter.

The flush and inspection went as expected with only one thing found that needed attention. The expansion tank was apparently not working as it should have and had to be replaced. As with all of these deals you usually never know whether this work is actually needed or whether it is just a way of earning more from the visit to justify the lower price of the original deal. In this instance, I feel that Brian is an honest and reputable plumber and I believe that replacement was more than likely justified. One negative is the non inspection of the outside faucets as promised, or the mains connector at the road - I have recently needed to turn off the mains and the chamber was filled with mud and could not have been inspected. Overall though, recommended.

Sloggy came ontime and was very professional. He tried to fix the existing hot water valve and hose, but they were rusted too tight. He gave me the price for replacing the pipe and valve and I gave him the OK. He completed the job and cleaned up. We were very happy with the finished job.

He did a good job. I think he's a little pricy, but overall it was good work.

Brian from Sloggy Plumbing came out based upon my purchase of an Angie's List Big Deal. He arrived on-time and performed a walk thru of my list. We agreed on what the Big Deal would cover and I also contracted him for additional work based upon his fair quote. Brian worked quickly and efficiently. Each job seemed to have 1 non-standard step (not in the directions) that Brian had to overcome...I am happy to have contracted Sloggy Plumbing as opposed to me doing it myself. Overall, Brian finished on time and I'll be calling him back out again to tackle some additional items on my list. It is nice to have found a local plumber for my future needs.
