Mr. Fairman and his team arrived on time and packed my furniture with care. The packing took less time than estimated. Once at my new residence, they unpacked and placed my items where I wanted and took the packing boxes with them. They all were professional and nice.

They called from Haverty's at 9a.m as agreed. They loaded the contents very quickly 15mins. They arrived at my residence and was very professional and eager to set up our furniture. We were very pleased with Jermaine and Romone. We will definite use this company again. My wife was very satisfied.. We definitely will refer all friends and Angieslist members..

There knowledge was excellent on what we wanted. We didn't have to direct them at all. They were incredible...

They are a bad company and they are not professional. They rented a truck to move my stuff and it was a small truck. They also damaged my furniture and pieces of glass. The movers did not have enough strength to move some of my stuff. They didn’t even have blankets to protect my furniture. They did have a very good attitude but the quality of work was not good. When they came to my house I immediately regretted it and realized I made a mistake. The move took a lot longer than it should have. They were very nice and called me ahead of time when they would be coming.

It did not go well. It took much, much, much longer than it should have taken; the quality of the movers was sub-par. The truck that they brought was much smaller than they needed to move the content from the storage unit. Clearly, a poor needs assessment was done.

Called and left a message and they called back within 5mins. Made an appt for 3 man team for 3 hrs to start at 9AM. On the day of the move Fairman (owner) called about 830am and said they were going to be late about an hour from our original start time. (9AM) Called them approx 10AM asking where they were, he stated that they were close. Called me back about 1015 saying his gps cant find my address. I talked them in. They arrived approx 1030AM. Fairman said there was some issue at the truck rental(??) business. They seemed unprepared. They didn't have a plan of action. Seemed to me that he got some guys to come help him. They had one small hand truck and one dolly. They used my larger hand truck. They didn't have enough supplies. Ran out of shrink wrap after two peices of furniture. No way to secure blankets. But they were pretty qwik at getting things out of apt to truck. I lived on 3rd floor back side of building. They had to use elevator. Things got shady when they moved my bed's headboard. Pretty solid large piece. They didn't use a dolley or hand truck and carried it by hand. 10 mins later Fairman come back with one of the legs of the headboard and said "it just fell off". I said how? His explanation was that they were walking up in to the truck and "it just fell off". I said impossible. With out being hit, dropped or bumped really hard, how would "it just fall off"?? He blamed it on the the furniture store delivery and setup guys. He said he had seen this before, where they "over tighten" the bolts. The break was not at the bolts. I bought the bed in January 2010. I "used" the bed extensively over the last 3 years and didn't have an issue. When I took the bed apart for the move, it had no issue. When it was moved from the bed room to the living room to the front door, no issues. But, "it just falls off" as you put it in your truck. One of the guys said he could fix it if he had some wood joining materials. I went to hardware store after getting them to house. When I got back to may astonishment, everything was in the house, including up stairs. The broken headboard was in the garage. Gave him the supplies to attempt to fix along with my drill and tools. Took about 30-45 mins to make it useable. They took it upstairs. I said that I would put it back together. Then came the bill. It was $299 for three hours. He wanted to charge me $430+. ($299 + $135 hr over) I said no. You came 1.5hrs late, unprepared and broke my bed, which I had to buy things to try to repair. I said the overage is for your guy trying to fix the bed that they broke. He continued to blame the quality of my bed and its initial setup as the reason for the break. They finished in 3 hrs. That's what I payed for. Very unprofessional business. Lesson learned. Not recommended at all.

Angie's List did give me a refund for the coupon I had purchased for this moving company.

Fairman never did the move for us. They cancelled the first appointment and did not reschedule as promised. I never heard from them again and they would not answer the phone or return my calls. Angies list got someone else to fulfill the deal for them.

I found out last minute about the move, as in the day before. I called them first because of their great reviews on Angie's List and current moving special. They were available for 11 a.m. the next day like I needed and provided a more than reasonable quote. My HOA requires any movers used to have insurance, and I was told they had several million in coverage. I left a message that afternoon with the contact info to send the proof of insurance to the property manager. I pack up my house, relieved everything worked out so smoothly. Two hours before the scheduled arrival, they call saying their insurance had unknowingly "lapsed" so I'd need to find another company if insurance was in fact required. At least I got a call. For that I am very grateful. In a panic, I pulled up a different review site and called Mark the Mover, the first well-reviewed company listed. Due to the late notice, they could only promise a moving team by noon but would try for earlier if possible. They arrived at 11:05 - amazing! I paid more than I would've with Fairman, but Mark the Movers were so fast, reliable, nice, and professional that it was money well spent.

Even though it was at the end of his day, he finished the very physically demanding job in a timely manner. I appreciated his efforts.

They were on-time and knocked it out in 3 hours.

I'm very satisfied with Fariman Moving and I would recommend them to a friend or anyone on Angie's List.

Went great, showed up early and in the right place.

Just a couple of days before the move the owner called to reschedule for Thursday. I said Thursday would not work so we scheduled it for the following Sunday. It poured rain all day long and caused problems later on. The truck they provided was not big enough and we had to load it two separate times. They brought a seventeen foot rider. If he would have asked what size truck we needed, I would have not asked for the smallest truck. I also told him that I had a large china cabinet that was fragile over the phone. However, he did not tell me on the phone that it would be an additional cost. I was impressed that they brought pads and dollies but they did not bring packing tape. My husband had to run out to get tape to complete the packing. We got to the home to unload and it was too muddy in the backyard. They could not get the truck in the backyard so the movers had to move the belongings up a flight of stairs. That was also an additional charge. We burned a couple of hours because the truck was not large enough. I was not very happy with all of the additional charges. If he would have come on Friday, as requested, it would have saved me money. Also, if he would have asked about the size of the truck I would have told him I need a twenty one foot truck. The men were very professional and nice. They were very careful with my belongings. They moved most of the things where I requested but not everything. The guys took extra, special care of my things. They worked together and did not take a break. They were extremely polite. The service itself was awesome but I was very disappointed with the additional charges. Overall, the service was great.

The men were a little late due to a delay solely caused by the trucking company. They were very diligent and careful of the mother-in-law's treasured possessions. The packing was carried out very professionally. The move required a drop-off at 2 locations in Canton. This too was done very professionally. The 2 men were pleasant to work with and went out of their way to please all concerned. I would highly recommend this company for their professionalism and value. When payment was due I mentioned the 20% Senior discount which the owner applied without hesitation.

I was very, very impressed and pleased with their services. My grandmother's antiques and furniture was wrapped, packaged and delivered with no damage. Excellent service and I highly recommend this company.
