Services we don't offer

Sprinkler system installation/ we handle retrofitting the controllers. Hvac repairs - we install the smart thermostats. We will not install smart cameras higher than recommended by manufacturers. So we will NOT install floodlight cameras higher than 10’ off ground. Higher installs are NOT recommended by Ring, Nest and other camera makers.

Very poorly. He also asked me to mail him back his tool that he left here. And how to send it to him. I did exactly as he said and then he texted my husband and told him it wasn't in the envelope. Someone must have taken it. But he insinuated that we really didn't send it. All in all it was a very stressful situation.
Description of Work: I couldn't get on my website and he cleared my computer so I could. However, he came on a Saturday and charged me over $200.00. And told me he was in Mensa and a genius and smarter than any other computer techs. He put the Premium Malwarebyte program on my computer. I had the free version. However, he never would answer my calls on how to change the scan time. Told me to text him and never answered my questions. Even worse in less than a month it gave me a message that I needed to update but it wouldn't let me. My new tech who is wonderful tried to update and couldn't . So we removed the Premium.

Please note the very first sentence of her description of the job description, "I couldn't get on my website and he cleared my computer so I could." in other words, I did what she wanted. Her complaint apparently was on the minutiae after and my refusal to respond instantly to the dozens of phone calls, texts and emails about how to use a free software program... advice she expected for free. This is unrelated to the work I did and has no business being posted on this site as it libels me and my company. My reputation of over 30 yrs as the top service company in Atlanta is beyond reproach. I have over 5,000 clients on the Atlanta Metro area and I can count on my hand those with whom I would steer any service professional away from. This is one. Fortunately I actually took notes so I would avoid to person in the future. In them I noted that this was an "extremely high maintenance" woman who spent the entire time asking annoying questions that prevented me from doing my work in a timely manner and then would not listen to the answers. It was clear that she took terrible advice from unqualified people. To set the record straight, I AM a member of Mensa (152 IQ), I am smarter and better than most, if not all, service professionals in the metro area, I have been in business for over 30 years, I do have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), I do have over 5,000 HAPPY customers, I AM competitive with my pricing but do charge for my time. So if you want to ask a thousand questions keeping me from the tasks you hired me to do, you will get charged for the time you use... she used an additional 30 minutes over my minimum one hour. Despite that, I actually charged her LESS than she stated above. Ms. [Member Name Removed] did have a TRIAL VERSION of Malwarebytes on her computer. In other words, It was NOT running and thus NOT protecting her. All she could do was launch manual scans which would only be effective is she remembered to update her definition file prior to the scan.... which she never did. So her protection was worthless. I did install a free Malwarebytes Professional to provide constant monitoring of her system for two weeks. That version, however, was not paid for and thus, it should have reverted back to a trial version after a short period of time. All of this explained to the customer but clearly not listened to. Now to be fair, the only thing Ms [Member Name Removed] said that was actually true was that I had left my thumb drive at her home. It contains my software tools (although this individual accused me of stealing his daughter school files LOL) What she mailed me back was a sealed but empty envelope! Obviously,whomever thought they were putting in the envelope missed their target. Given my experience in their home, I should have expected nothing less. What you should know is that as one of the people that helped start Dell in 1983, I am certainly not the cheapest tech in town. I am, however, the best and offer the best VALUE for my time. I am competitive, friendly, and answer questions in English. But, most importantly, I actually fix your problems and take the stress off of you. My rates are published on my website and I will put my reputation up against any in town. Unfortunately, the 1 in a 1,000 person who does not listen and is never satisfied decided to slander me for some reason - all because I insisted that they never put my thumbdrive in the envelope they mailed me. Being called out for such a mistake is not justification for libel and slander of me and my company. BTW... My policy is satisfaction guaranteed! She only had to pay IF the job was completed and IF she was completely satisfied. SHE WAS SATISFIED AND DID PAY AS CONFIRMATION OF HER SATISFACTION!

About two weeks ago, Nathaniel Lack of CHC received my urgent call that I had an infected computer and the message on my screen said to call an unknown phone number that was supposed to be from a reputable virus protection company. He immediately helped me handle the situation by providing advice, running a malware program he had previously installed on my computer, and making sure my malware and virus protection programs were up-to-date. I have used Nathaniel's company for almost ten years. Each time, I have found him very responsive and able to handle a variety of issues I have had with desktop and laptop computers and printers, from recovering a crashed hard drive, to new installations, to helping to speed up slow computers, Wi-Fi, and installing a number of helpful software programs. I have recommended him to relatives and other friends and they have been very satisfied as well.
Description of Work: Computer House Calls (CHC) responded to, advised, and fixed computer with warning of viruses.
