I am extremely happy with the work and service provided by Richard and Nick. They went far above and beyond to help me with our full home remodel. They spoke to other contractors on my behalf, gave me more than fair prices, made sure the work was done right, and were incredible to work with. They did the ceiling, paint, flooring, fixtures, garage epoxy, closets, everything! I'm very pleased I've found a contractor that puts the customer and quality of work above all else. I will be using Richard for all my future home renovation projects and will be recommending them to anyone looking for a high-quality contractor.

Richard and the crew did an absolutely amazing job repairing my stucco siding. They tied it in with the old stucco perfectly and hauled everything away. I would highly recommend them for for any stucco job.

I had Richard redo out 1/2 Bathroom last year. He had the best price out of 5 quotes. The quality of workmanship was outstanding. Tile, toilet, and vanity, moldings etc. was installed. I was really impressed with how the tile transitioned from the 1/2 Bath to the tile in the hallway. Flawless transition... I apparently forgot to write him a review at that time. I am asking him now to look at our family bathroom. Need I say more.

They were not the cheapest option, but their response time and communication was great. The guys who arrived on site knew what they were doing and did it quickly. Saved in my phone for any future needs.

If you need work done, I highly recommend Richard and General American. I could not be happier with the work performed, attention to detail and professionalism, but what impressed me most was his flexibility and willingness to step in and help. For example: the plumber was delayed which would have left us without use of the bathroom another 4 days, but Richard stepped in and kept us on schedule. There doesn't seem to be a lot that he can't do. Also, in full disclosure my wife and I are perfectionists and to make us happy is no small feat. Without a doubt we will hire Richard for our next project, you should do the same.

Worst decision I ever made hiring Richard for an extensive amount of money and work. Everything he or his workers did in our home is messed up and needs to be redone by much more qualified professionals. Richard is a nice guy and means well but he and his crew have no idea what theyâ re doing and he was hardly present on our job as the GC until the end. Some of the issues we have that we didnâ t realize until months laterâ ¦ - He pulled up and put down all new tile flooring. The grout was mixed incorrectly and is now crumbling all over the house with massive chunks coming out (I can scratch it out with a fingernail). Whatâ s worse, is nearly a quarter of our flooring now sounds hollow underneath the tile because they didnâ t use enough thinset or they put too much water in the mixture and when it dried it left massive gaps. - He painted the inside and outside of our home and there are constantly paint bubbles forming on the exterior of the home and the interior is tacky (sticky) because they left doors open while painting so it never cured properly because it was way too humid in the house. - He repaired our sunroom roof because of water damage and then didnâ t properly shingle the roof. We now have bubbles forming and shingles that are staying wet barely a year later. - While he was here, he installed an exterior door backwards (the threshold was facing the wrong way) and water came into the house every time it rained. It took me debating him for an hour while he told me itâ s normal for water to come into the garage for him to reverse the door. Since then, no water (because itâ s not normal), but he damaged the brand new door in the process and now it has a giant dent/hole in it. There are so many more issues but I canâ t even list them all. Iâ ve tried having him fix things but never get anything fixed properly annd eventually had to give up. Like I said, really nice guy but be careful of the positive reviews. Mine was five stars and positive until I realize all the issuesâ ¦took me a while to get back on here and fix my review.

Outstanding Bathroom remodel ! Reliable, courteous and professional. Richard and his crew took over this project once my bathroom remodel was ready for the tile installation phase. I wish I had found him earlier. Initially I thought I would need to hire more people to complete my bathroom, but with Richard's expertise I didn't need to hire anyone else, he completed the entire job and it came out Beautiful ! I am really grateful I found them and could not ask for a better experience. I will make sure to hire them for my next project.

I cannot say enough great things about Richard and General American. We hired him to redo our kitchen, remove a wall and demo a lot of tile. First off, he is the most reliable contractor that I have ever come across. If he says he will be at the project at 8am, he is there at 7:55am every time. Second is that you can tell he takes great pride in his work. My wife and I are pretty detail oriented people, and we could not be happier with the outcome of everything. We designed everything and sourced the materials, he made it come to life. Lastly, he is just a genuinely nice guy. I cannot tell you how many times as I was talking things through with him he said to me "I just want to make sure you are happy". He did, and we are. I have already referred him to 2 friends of mine for remodeling jobs. All of his team that he brought in- Jim, Troe, Chris, Luis were fantastic as well for things like painting, electrical, woodwork and tile work. His rates were extremely fair, and brought so much value to our project. We are already talking about he and Jim coming back to paint our house, as well as when we might be able to start our gest bathroom renovation! Hire him, you will not regret it. We dealt with Richard (company owner), Chris (amazing custom cabinet work) and tile installers! We found everyone trustworthy; honest; punctual; genuinely cared about us, the job satisfaction, and our input; and had fair-competitive pricing! We would definitely hire them again! Thank you guys! Kitchen cabinet demo and installation of Cliqstudio cabinets. We initially had some bad apples (horrible contractors for drywall and painting) and were hesitant to place such a big job in one person's hand. However, General American Services was VERY knowledgeable of the process. Richard (owner) quickly put us at ease. It was COMPLETELY STRESS FREE!!! He has definitely been around a while and has a superb work ethic. Throughout the process, he would come to check on the work being done and would correct the workers if he thought something was not up to par. We had cabinets removed, plumbing, electrical and cabinet installation. Richard checked all the work throughout the entire process. He and his workers truly went above and beyond. We will definitely use General American Services again. A JOB WELL DONE!

General American Services has been phenomenal! Richard has delivered on time, and with no hidden costs. He has helped with problem resolution, as well as doing a great job on our kitchen renovation. I am so glad we went with him. HONEST and RELIABLE.

Total Kitchen rebuild and remodel. Richard and his team are amazing. Worked on my timeline, flexible with my needs, communicated effectively. Open and honest, a truly great experience. Worked to my budget and true to word. Excellent quality work. Made better recommendations than what I had in mind. If something was not right, he would point it out and make it right before I knew about it. They took my old kitchen down to stud and slab. Installed new lighting, cabinets, ran new pluming lines, new window install, all appliances, installed new sub floor, crown and trim, tile work, paint, all finishing. Great guys to work with. I would definitely recommend Ricard and American General Services. We had a ~1100 sq/ft floor tile that was started by another company. They got about half way through and kept making excuses and not showing up to finish the job. I hired AGS and they completed the job, which included cleaning up the mess the first company made with thinset everywhere and replacing some bad cuts the first company made. The also didn't want any money until the job was completed, which was definitely a plus and incentive for them to finish. We had some more projects that we have hired them to do.

He was referred by a friend to determine the source of a leak that other contractors couldn't. Repair involved replacing a shower pan and tile. He was helpful with suggestions and listened to our desires. He followed up and exceeded expectations. The work was done in a timely manner and cleanliness was made and he is a true craftsman in the industry that tends toward mediocrity.

Richard and his team were excellent. We had 3 bathrooms remodeled and he oversaw everything. His work is top-quality and fairly priced. He is very honest and hard-working; we appreciate that. My husband has managed many professional projects and is very particular; he sings Richard's praises too. We could not be happier with the 3 finished bathrooms and will be calling General American Services again. In fact, they will be painting our house in a month or two. Highly recommended and grateful to be able to support this fine business.
