We recently had 12 blinds installed and from the beginning to end everything ran smooth.  The worker at Home Depot ?Geovani? in the flooring, carpeting and blinds department knows his work.  The installers that Home Depot used to install our blinds (ABSOLUTE INTERIORS) came and measured and once our blinds arrived they came out and installed.  They did a great job.  The only issue I had with Home Depot (that had nothing to do with the product or the installation) was at the end when we asked for a RELEASE OF LIEN.  None of the workers knew what that was?we had to get several supervisors/mangers and Home Depots ?Customer Care? involved to get this release from them? and it took more than a week for something we should have received the same day work was completed.  We would use them again going forward, and,  now everyone there knows about RELEASE OF LIENS. 

First off, you can talk to one person in their remodeling department about what you need and they'll tell you one thing, then when you talk to someone else about the same project they'll tell you something totally different. They have also been very difficult to work with in assisting us with the project, it seems that if you go to them with a small redesign job they are unresponsive and have even hung up calls with us, as if they are only interested in large $15,000 projects.

They are convenient, they carry usually whatever they are looking for. They don't have coupons, and their customer service is not good. It is hard to find someone sometimes, depending on the time you are there.

They refused to pickup the old machine. They purposely segregate the install from the removal on their web site but refuse to come thru with their offer. The bigger issue is Home Depot services are not reliable, poorly managed and too costly.
The service in the store is dismal. Individuals are outstanding, but contractors always get service before a walk-in home owner.
