Legacy Windows

The short version of our review is: We highly recommend this business to anyone wants their windows replaced with double pane windows. The remainder of this long review explains in detail why we are happy with doing business with Legacy Windows: The installation was smooth & efficient. Their installer team are experienced professionals, very customer friendly, began the job at mid morning, completed it by mid afternoon, vacuumed up all construction dust and hauled away the original windows debris to a recycling facility. Installer Marco and his assistant are a great team, I could clearly see they have had years of experience installing windows. They paid attention to the finest detail of the finishing (foam sealing, caulking, etc.) We are more than pleased with the quality of the job including the initial showing of samples, a quote that was lower than the two other competitive quotes primarily because Legacy Windows is a small family owned business and not a large corporation with higher overhead. Therefore their lower cost of doing business is passed on to the customer. After we signed the contract for the job, made the down payment (1/3rd of the total cost), Jeff (the owner) came out, made precision measurements of all windows, ordered the custom made windows from a reputable window mfg. (I forgot the name), the new windows were ready 6 weeks later (Covid-19 slowed the mfg process from the nominal 2 weeks). The installer team brought the new windows to our house and each one fit in place nicely. We couldn't be more pleased with our new windows, outside noise is considerably reduced, our HVAC system actually cycles off and on during the hottest part of a summer day for the first time we have owned our home.

Mr Wren was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. The instillation was within the timeframe promised, the windows were beautiful, and the crew was tidy and efficient. We love the results!
