Crew was punctual and answered any questions about the job. They moved large pieces of furniture. Cleanup was complete and furniture replaced. Highly recommend this company.

We hired DHI, LLC to remove our popcorn ceiling and apply a smooth finish...we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Our roughly 2,300 sq. ft. house looks like a 5 star resort! Doug was very prompt in responding to our inquiry and was on time to our appointment as promised. He gave us a fair price and even helped us save a few dollars. Then comes Tommy...this guy doesn't mess around when it comes to his work! Tommy practically lived at our house while doing the project, spending 12 hour days there most times. He worked with us to decide on the finish we wanted and gave us a fair price on some extra work we needed. He also cleaned up the entire house and got everything exactly back where it belonged as promised. All those working on this project were fantastic!!! My wife and I can't say enough about DHI...the best thing we can say is "thank you"!

I received a call from Doug almost immediately after my inquiry and scheduled the work. The house I was moving to had old popcorn ceilings, fluorescent light fixtures and an excess of outdated lights and cabinets. Doug was completely professional and yet took a personal interest in my future home. He had excellent ideas for improvements. His communication was instant, and he was always prompt and reliable. He completed the job as promised on schedule which was tremendously important as our moving date was firm. He removed the old ceilings, put in recessed lighting, and painted. I highly recommend Tommy at DHI. Tommy was an absolute pleasure to work with from beginning to end and he does amazing work. He and his son removed the popcorn ceilings throughout my home and replaced them with his own special technique of texturing the ceiling. It looks great and I like that it's something different than the knockdown texture everyone else does (although he'll do knockdown too if you'd like). He also primed and painted the ceilings and they came out amazing! I was also fortunate enough to fit into his busy schedule for him to paint some walls for me, including some tricky high walls and a stairwell. This, too, came out better than expected. I will definitely recommend Tommy at DHI to all my friends.

Tommy is the best at ceiling and drywall repair and textures. We had popcorn ceiling removed, resurfaced (really like the ceiling texture) and painted. Walls were retextured with knockdown and drywall repaired where needed. Attention to detail all along the way. Tommy is an artist!

Tommy was great! Very professional, and accommodating. I'm beyond happy with the work he did, getting rid of popcorn ceiling and painting. He got the job done within the time frame he said, and left the place clean. I would definitely recommend Tommy and his crew, and I will use him again in the future.

I hired DHI, LLC. to drywall my ceilings in my guest bathroom and kitchen. I have concrete ceilings. As he was installing the furring strips to hold the drywall, he drilled into a hot water line. I was able to cut off the water quickly and I started the cleanup. As I was cleaning up, the workers quickly packed up and left, leaving me to clean up after their mistake. I eventually had to pay a plumber a total of $1,569 to fix the damage. This was for an $800 job, which they did not finish. I contacted the company and they were unwilling to reimburse me. I then took them to Small Claims Court, which will STRONGLY instruct you to settle. We settled for $800. I was out half of my damages, plus $285 in court related costs. Heaven help you if you have a problem when you hire this company. In my experience, the only way you to get them to be responsible for their actions is to take them to court and that is not likely to make you whole.

Tommy was great, we had scheduling issues and he was very accomodating.also very punctual and cleanup was unbeleivable.

We were happy with the way the process was explained to us (nothing unexpected). The price was fair. We were also appreciative with their punctuality and clean up afterward.

Tommy did an excellent job! He skimmed over half of the ceilings in my home and finished with a knockdown finish. What a hard worker! Fast, clean, friendly, and thorough. What more could you ask for?

Tommy was on time and professionally finished the project before the estimated time-frame - which is unusual. He' a very personable man who seems to enjoy providing a quality service. An electrical contractor was at the house and was so impressed that he asked for a DHI business card. If needed, I will definitely hire DHI again.

Doug came when he said he would, completed the job right on time for the quoted price, was tidy and very polite. He was very willing to move the big heavy furniture and was careful not to damage anything. The ceilings look fabulous. I am so very surprised how well the job progressed - 3 days and I no longer have popcorn in my home!! The paint job is very nice. Could not be happier. I would have him work for me again should I ever purchase another home with popcorn ceilings. Thanks Doug.

Easy peasey. We had two drywall sections in need of repair. Got a call that evening and Ed came out within a few days for an estimate. The following Monday, he and a colleague finished the work. Definitely recommended.

Tommy did the work, it is so clean you and not even see were the problem was in the ceiling. We are talking about him removing the pop corn ceiling all together. Would recommend him and the company to any one in need of this type of service. The Poindexters
