I called two or three times in the following weeks asking about the progress being made on my laptop. Each time I was told they hadn't done anything with it - but were planning to. Finally I told them not to do anything with the laptop. I would pick it up and bring it somewhere else to get fixed. So on August 28 (17 days after I brought the laptop in to be fixed) I picket it up in the same condition it was in when I brought the laptop in weeks ago. There were no apologies, no explanations. Nothing. Now I have to find somewhere else to get it fixed.
Description of Work: I brought in an IBM T-41 laptop on 8/11/09 that had a "fan error" meaning that the fan needed to be replaced. All that was necessary was to open the laptop, see the model of fan it used, order it from IBM, and install it when the fan came in. I also said (if possible) fix a software problem that does not allow the system to upgrade it's O/S.
