Description of Work: I requested Red Cap to install a new garbage disposal in the kitchen sink and remove the old disposal. The plumber quoted me a price, but I thought it was too much. We settled for $200.00. He did a good job and I had no issues with the installation. Then, afterward he checked out the drainage line which was not needed, the sink drains without issue, and I never requested it to be checked. It was a service he performed without asking and I think the reason for the company justifying the high cost. The procedure was the one where the plumber snakes a camera thru the drain line to see if there are any obstructions or cracks in the drainage line. I had no need for the service, and this is the reason I am not happy with Red Cap, because I feel they forced the service on me to justify their high cost for the job.

Description of Work: Red Cap cleared a clogged toilet. The Red Cap service man told me the problem could be one of two things. One he could remedy, and one could require a new toilet. He worked on the clog with his auger for several minutes, and was able to free the obstruction. He then tested the unplugged toilet with handfuls of toilet paper to be sure that problem was truly solved. It was resolved, and continues to work perfectly. | |It did take a good while before the serviceman arrived, but I-275 was backed up when a truck hit the Dale Mabry bridge. I did not feel it was fair to mark Red Cap down for something that was beyond their control.

Description of Work: Removed a tree root ball from my outside sewer line to get things moving again.

Description of Work: Stop a leak in handle of my upstairs bath tub. It went well. I've had this problem looked at by twice before, also by a plumber and a specialist. The gentleman from Redcap new exactly what was wrong and fixed it expeditiously.

Description of Work: They used a camera in our plumbing line and found a 30 foot belly that is now being repaired by the builder. Thank you guys!!

Description of Work: I gave low rating because I have to reschedule my initial appointment because they didn't send the right person. Wasting time is not really professional way. Second guy showed up in a reasonable time frame and was very very helpful in giving estimate. Overall, for the service requested and the price, I think they did a good Job.

Description of Work: He looked at the well and confirmed he couldn't repair it, said it would cost $306 for a new pressure switch. I called someone else and they did for $120.

Description of Work: Company let me know I did not need this service and ended up doing other work for me which I paid for separately.

Description of Work: There was a problem but not the fault of the plumber. I signed up to for a $99 special, but my house was not new enough to use the service. The only was to check and clear my drain pipes was to go on the roof and the plumber said that was not allowed. It cost $299 if he went on the roof. The advertisement needs to clearly state that there has to be access to the line from the walls in the house, not only the roof. So I actually wasted the $99. The plumber did put some liquid drain cleaner down my sink drain and the drains were working, but no camera looked into the pipes to see any problems. So, some service was provided, and I am uncertain about how to grade them. The plumber who came did what he could under the circumstances.

Description of Work: first used the $99 tv scan and cleaning, then had to remove about 4 feet of cracked pipe and replace with new, came with a 10 year guarantee, Very Professional outfit, when done you wouldn't know they were here..........outstanding

Description of Work: I requested a specific type of toilet to buy and be installed about a year and a half ago. I was never satisfied with the toilet and called Red Cap Plumbers on three occasions to test the product . They were always professional, courteous and neat. Today, a supervisor arrived as scheduled whose name is Paul. He assessed the situation and heard what I had expected all along, and immediately called for another plumber to bring a brand new different make/brand toilet and installed it. He was just great! That is what I call SATISFACTION guaranteed! Thank you Red Cap and Angie's List.

Description of Work: Cleared ma blockage in sewer line and scooped out line for further trouble. They called me ahead of time before arriving and came within time perimeters they gave. Had glitch in the camera guy coming office called and I didn't wait needlessly and they rescheduled for a convenient time.
