Description of Work: They came out and gave me a price on doing some work. We will have them do the work as soon as we get some money saved, and we will never use any one else again.

Description of Work: Second time I've used these guys and they do a great job.

Description of Work: Plumber came and didn't know where the clean out was so he charged another $90 to find it. He spent 15 minutes running the snake and that unclogged the drain for 2 weeks and then it clogged again. They sent someone out for free to inspect the drain with a camera and they said that it would cost between $1000 and $3000 to fix it for good. They said that they may need to break my driveway to fix the.pipes. I ended up calling Roto Rooter and they charged me $200 and spent 2 hours cleaning out the pipes and I have never had a problem since.

Description of Work: Had the $99 video scan of our plumbing from the kitchen out to the septic looking for roots / damage. That was very informative. Then the upselling began. The appointment ended with a quote for $20,000 worth of new plumbing for our home. Run through the attic. We passed on that opportunity.

Description of Work: Snaked the drain from the clean out 75 feet, this removed the clog from my pipe. Explained proper procedures for good drain health. Very personable and worked at a good pace. Everything was clearly explained

Description of Work: I scheduled the service to get my lines looked at and was contacted to set an appointment the next day. I explained that I did not have any clogs but was concerned about my sewer lines and wanted to get them looked at to ensure they were ok. The appointment was set for Monday 2/2/2015 between 8 and 9 am. I received a call on Thursday 1/29/2015 to make sure I was aware of my appointment on Friday 1/30/2015 between 8 and 9am. I explained that it was suppose to be on Monday but told the girl it was fine, I would be around Friday morning. The guys did not show up until 9:30am and had no idea why they were even at my home, they did not have the video equipment to look at the lines so I asked them to leave. I received a call later that after noon from Roger who appologized, said he would refund my money and was going to still send someone to my home to video the lines and ensure everything was alright, he also said someone from his office would be calling me to schedule. I did not hear from anyone all week and my money has not been refunded. I called and spoke with Roger this afternoon and he now says he can not refund my money, someone from Angie's list will need to do that. He continued to say There must have been a misunderstanding... there was no misunderstanding, he told me what he thought I wanted to hear and got off of the phone last week... he never followed up on anything and it does not sound like he intended to. So rating.. overall - F, Quality - NA as I did not receive any service, Punctuality - F, Price - NA, as I better get my money back, Responsiveness - F, lip service is not being responsive, Professionalism - F, say what you mean and mean what you say... |I am now doing what Roger said I needed to do to get my money back, "contact Angie's list and let them know what happened".

Description of Work: I have three downstairs toilets. All were slow and often required plunging. I wanted Red Cap to scope and clean the main drain (which was the advertised special). Tech came and could not find the clean out (entry point of main drain), he then augered all three toilets. He then informed me that I needed to replace all three toilets at a cost of prox. $1700.00. I am not a plumber but I do know that all three toilets feed into the main drain. I need a main drain clean and not three new toilets! How could all three toilets go bad at the same time?? After the technician augered all three toilets and gave me the quote for replacing all three, he left. After he left I noticed that all three toilets had black scratch marks on them...they did not look very good. I called and complained and they sent the same tech out to fix the marks (turns out they were not scratches but just stains caused by the auger). He left and I noticed that the marks were still there. Called red cap again, and a supervisor came out and fixed the problem. To Red Cap's credit, they did fix the marks but I was left with three slow running toilets and left without the promised scope of the main drain. In other words I had the same problem as before they came out. |I do not have a record of the dates of the three visits by Red Cap.
