Description of Work: Before even speaking to us, they responded to my email with a note indicating my square footage is more than agreement and it will cost another $800 to paint. This puts the estimate at no different prices than any other paint contractor (and I have yet to meet them). In my opinion, you don't start a business relationship with how much more you will cost.

Description of Work: Went fine. He contacted me promptly but after having a carpenter come out and see about repairing wood rot prior to painting, it's apparent that the wood rot is too extensive to repair and I need to just put siding on the house.

Description of Work: I emailed service provider for appt. After 2 or 3 emails, we settled on 10:30, 24 June. I drove 450 miles to meet him at our second home where painting was to be done. When he did not show 90 minutes after appointed time, I called him. He said he was at a 10:00 estimate and then I told him our appointment was at 10:30. He blamed bad scheduling on his wife. He wanted to make an appointment for later in the day but I had errands to run. Then, to his credit, he was willing to come right away but I was skeptical and decided to shop around. Then, I went on Angie's list and found Polson's Painting. Called them and was able to get an estimate over the phone less expensive than the big deal. So, I am cancelling the big deal with Enos Painters.

Description of Work: It was a missed communication about the size of my home and the difference in price.I purchase my house at 1507 sq ft and was informed that the house is 2019 sq ft which would be news too me since all the paperwork states otherwise.I purchase the big deal for a deal and with the additional amount being charged I just felt that it was too expensive for the size of my home.

+ 0 moreThey were on time and did a fair job. Lots of paint spatter on my hardwood floors. Did not tape around mirror in bathroom and got paint all over the sides of mirror. Did not finish in one day and were supposed to return by 8:30 the next morning. No one showed until I called and they sent another painter (Chad) out to finish the job. He ended up spending three hours fixing others mistakes. Chad did an excellent job. Be aware this company charges by the hour (not by the job).

There were no major problems with the job and all minor issues were resolved as soon as we mentioned them. Basically, they did what they said they would do and when they said they would do it, and for the agreed-upon price.

+ 0 moreThey painted a majority of the interior of the house (main rooms including a 2-story family room and hallways). Required 2 coats (which Mike told me it would) and also I asked them to paint all trim in these areas. Mike gave me an estimate but they do work by the hour. The estimate was very close to what it actually cost. They did a fantastic job, were timely and courteous. Mike even called the paint store to try to find out the exact builder's trim brand/color so he could match it. Several people have commented on what a good job they did. I have also used them previously to paint exterior of another home, and they did a good job there as well. Would hire them again.

+ 1 moreTheir price was very competitive and their work was really good. They came out pressure washed and filled out the cracks. They came out the next day to paint. They did a complete job. If you had any problems they corrected it right there. The last time they left the cigarette buds lying on the lawn. The plants and shrubbery were a little bit damaged but this time around I did not notice any of that.

I was left high and dry...
