Very well! I had called a different A rated company the night before because they were still open when I found the problem after 5 PM. The other company sent out a tech who quoted me a price that seemed very high, so I called D&D based on a friend's recommendation. They set up an appointment for the next day. However, half an hour later, they called to say that a tech in our area had become available and would be out soon. Less than an hour after I called D&D, Luis showed up, saw what repairs were needed, and gave me a quote that was abut 60% of what the other people wanted. Luis had to go back to their nearby shop to get the needed springs and safety cables, then returned and had everything installed and working properly in under an hour even with me watching. Excellent service and happy customer! Thanks Luis!

We own a rental property. When I last inspected the property, I noticed that the double doors were very noisy and not closing smoothly. I had previously used D&D for new doors, and to repair existing doors - so I called them out for this.
The technician arrived as scheduled, and maintained (lubricated and adjusted) both doors (a single and a double) and the electric door openers. We needed no parts or anything complicated.

The beauty of this story is I had two other companies come out and tell me I needed a new garage door. I was getting estimates and the rep from D&D told me my door could be easily repaired. I am so grateful! I will definitely buy from them when the time comes, and in the meantime, I will tell everybody that this is a company that can be TRUSTED. Way to go for doing business honestly!!!

I would absolutely recommend D and D. My only complaint is that there were several weeks between the estimate and the install. I understand that a quality contractor is busy with prior commitments, but some communication with us, letting us know we have not been forgotten, and an approximate install date would have been appreciated. Other than that, the brand of doors and quality of the install were excellent.

The service tech showed up on time, diagnosed the problem within a minute and made the repair within twenty minutes. He also talked me into replacing the track rollers which had worn bearings and were obviously in bad shape. He lubed the spring, chain, hinges and rollers. Total time was about an hour. He was skilled, courteous and efficient.

Our garage door suddenly stopped working over the weekend. It is a Genie and so I looked on their website and found D @ D Garage Doors. I called them first thing Monday and they set me up with an appointment between 2 and 4pm the same day. The service man came about noon, worked on the door for approximately 1/2 hour (maybe less). I had been told the service call would be $89 plus parts. The total bill was $125.08. We were told the garage door was in good shape, he replaced a defective switch and said he greased all parts and we should be in good shape for some time to come.

When my garage door broke I knew who to call.. I have used D and D Garage door before and was completely satisfied with every aspect of their work. I had also went a couple of weeks earlier to the Home and Garden show in Tampa and received a 10% coupon to use on my next service call. I didn't know at the time that I was going to have to use the coupon. I called them on Friday afternoon and made an appointment for Monday to do the work .. when the worker showed and saw that I had a Wayne Dalton door he realized that he didn't have the correct spring with him and that he had to order it.. The door spring arrived on Tuesday 10/15/2013 and today they arrived at 0830 hrs and had it completely done by 0930 hrs.. They were very professional at every turn, from talking to Constance on the phone to both of the installers that had shown up at my home .. I would recommend them to all my friends and family.

Provider came out the next day for an estimate on replacement of my ten year old opener. The tech came out at appointed time and gave me a price that as fair. I wanted to make certain to get a very reliable model. The tech recommended Liftmaster. That is what my researching had zeroed in on as well. The tech made an appointment to come the following day for the removal of the old opener and installation of the new. It took about 2 hours. The opener is very quiet and has some nice features. He also installed an outside keypad. I would recommend D and D Garage doors to all. Very good value.

They were ontime and called before they came. The gentleman looked everything over and realized the detectors were simply misaligned. He said since he was here already he would inspect, clean and grease the springs. He also took the time to show me how I could check in the future if it was simply an alignment issue.

"Misaligned photo eyes are very common. We are glad our service tech took the time to explain how to spot the issue so that you will know what to do the next time that happens. For those that don't know if you start to close your garage door and it goes back up right away that means there is something blocking the sensors. It could be dirt on the lens, one could have gotten knocked out of alignment, or something could be in between them that blocks there connection, like a basketball. My husband thought they showed up a few days late for the appointment, but I am not so sure we did not mix the date up because we have both had an aweful lot going on with contractors lately. Anyway, Kris drove to the Brandon area from Sarasota. Service call was $89 which is included in the total price above. Our garage door would not close the whole way, and toads and other uninvited were getting in the garage and our brand new garage door opener only got about two weeks of use before the door was stuck. Kris stayed late on a Friday afternoon to get the job done, was professional and courteous, seeming not to be concerned with the fact that his weekend was being delayed, and our door works great now. I would definitely call them again and recommend them.

My garage door was crooked. The tech arrived on time, adjusted and lubed the door and all componets. The door works great. The price was exactly what was agreed on and they didn't try to sell me on anything else. I highly recommend them.
