We contracted with Coverall (on the recommendation of our home builder) to make some changes to our new kitchen. We had confidence Coverall's ability to do good work because they had done the original work in the kitchen and could order the right parts. Unfortunately, our experience with them turned into a communication nightmare. We began conversing with them via phone and email to get a quote for the work in the end of November 2008, and initially they were responsive. We quickly settled on a very fair price and made arrangements for a 50% deposit. The materials order was supposed to take 30 days or so.... and we waited. Assuming all was well. After the 30 days, we called to find out when the installation would take place. We were told they would check on the order and call us back. Nobody called back. We called several times, leaving messages, and send several emails.Still no response. We spent weeks trying to communicate with them. Finally, in desperation, we called our builder and asked them to assist us in getting a response. Eventually, we did then hear from them, and were told they could not get the materials. Apparently, because they didn't have anything nice to say to us about our order, Coverall felt it was better not to talk to us! We insisted on a deposit refund, and to their credit... it was processed promptly. This was more than a month after we thought the work would be completed, so eight weeks had passed and we were back at square one. Eventually, we actually located a supplier for the parts but didn't have an installer, so we contacted Coverall to ask if they would install them. They said they would, so we asked them for the parts list. Surprise, they didn't send it. Again, we called a few times and sent a few more emails and they finally responded saying they could now get the parts themselves and do the work. Leary, we called and left a message saying we wanted to place the order but that we were concerned with the lack of responsiveness. Unsurprisingly, I got no response to either my question or my desire to re-order. I called again. No response. I emailed them. No response. Finally, in total exasperation, I managed to speak to a VP named Dee and was told they *again* were having ordering issues and could not proceed. I advised her that I had been repeatedly ignored and she assured me they would be back in touch. Well, my sales person, Amanda, never called. On my last attempt I couldn't get through to a single person. Obviously, we moved on to making other arrangements. I've just never had such a hard time giving a company my business!
Description of Work: Coverall was supposed to install some pull out shelves, new cabinets with deep drawers, and a pull-out trashcan. However after they took our $944 deposit... they never came through on the order. Ultimately, no services were ever performed!
