Once I noticed the purchase, I immediately explained to the customer that the pitch of his roof is not walkable for the manner of cleaning I use and I do not service his area as he is located 50 miles from me. I responded right away to allow him to set up another service provider quickly in case he had a deadline.

Description of Work: I used this service to have my house, deck, garage, driveway, and sidewalks pressure washed. He also cleaned out my rain gutters. He showed up on time and was very professional. He was careful to not apply too much pressure on painted surfaces that may have peeled back the paint. When he finished all the mildew was gone and the paint was in good shape. When he finished he put everything back in place and cleaned up the debris from the rain gutters. I plan on using him again next year!

Description of Work: We wanted our sidewalks and driveway pressure washed. I was told he couldn't perform the service at the advertised price because my location was too far way from North Tampa. I'm sure he would have done a great job based on other reviews, but again I was surprised and disappointed he wouldn't honor his price.

Response from Clay's Pressure Washing
The mile limitation for the deal this customer wanted to purchase was 12 miles. This member's address is 25 miles away. I can't drive 25 miles(50 miles round trip) to make $31 (what I make after the Angie's List fee) to work for an hour. The customer's final price came out to $80 which is comparable to other providers that offer my level of service. At the end of the day, I'm sorry I lost a customer but I can't work for free.

Description of Work: Saw Angie's List ad for Clay'S Pressure washing to clean gutters for $100.00....Contractor stated I needed to buy whole house cleaning to get gutters cleaned for $100.00 each (purchased two for me and neighbor. Contacted Clay's and Angie's List for full ($200.00) refund.

I'm sorry (deleted member name) did not read the entire deal before he purchased it. In my storefront, it clearly states that the deal is only good if a home cleaning is purchased as well. I put this in my fine print so the consumer will know this before they purchase the deal. Always read through a deal in its entirety before clicking the purchase button!
