Description of Work: New large screen TV got hit by power surge from lightening strike. AES was able to bring the product back to life at a 3rd of the replacement cost. Service was on time and professional. Although parts had to be ordered from the factory, we were provided with timeline updates until arrival. AES was not out to make a buck but to provide honest service at a reasonable price. Definately would call on again if the situation arose.

Description of Work: I was able to set up an appointment within a day. They arrived promptly as promised, diagnosed the problem with 5 minutes and was able to resolve the problem in one visit. The TV has been working great so I'm very happy with the service I received.

Description of Work: I called Advance Electronics when the TV in my A/V system lost all sound. I was looking for a shop to take my Pioneer Receiver for service. Mike spent almost an hour on the phone with me diagnosing the problem and walking me through the tests and ultimately the solution to the problem with no charge. Bottom line was the audio works fine and I now have a place to call for help with any audio or TV problem. I would give Mike my highest recommendation.

Description of Work: tech confirmed that my existing component was faulty and offered me a great price on a new one...and then charged me for an "installation" which was never discussed before he came out. Installation consisted of plugging it in to make sure it worked.

Description of Work: Installed the TV over the fireplace and re-wired our sound system. They also installed new flush mount speakers. The project went very well. Mike and his crew did a great job and were very professional.

Description of Work: After a bad experience with another prospective home theater installer, I turned to ADVANCE ELECTRONIC SOLUTION. Mike kept me in the loop, and agreed to go with several slightly unusual requests I had. He made suggestions but never insisted. The job was more expensive than I had originally hoped, but it was also much more demanding than I had originally thought. Mike and his helper did a great job, working long and hard to get it done, even going above and beyond to accommodate some of my requests. He also offered to come back out to calibrate the sound system once the furniture has been installed, an impressively generous offer. I'm very happy with the work he did and he was very pleasant to work with. I'm sure I'll be calling him again.

Description of Work: I used Advance Electronic Solution after my house got hit by lightning five months ago. It was $25 per item check-up for the service call. I had to get pricing for my home-owner's insurance as to whether the items were reparable or not effective for repair. They checked the items and then gave the recommendation as to whether they were repairable or not.

Description of Work: Checked out "black line" in plasma tv. Truthfully told us parts would be $$$$, turns out too old, parts no longer available. Worthwhile to get the true story.

Description of Work: Mike took over from a different, poor serving company and installed our theater projector and attempted to get the system to work. He spent a great deal of time troubleshooting & identifying the issue ... we had to send a component (previously bought in store) back to the manufacturer for re-programming. Upon return of the component he came back out on a Saturday and set up our system and went so far as to let us know we did not need to buy a new controller from him ... he could have sold us one and we would never had been the wiser. Additionally, Mike is very customer service orientated and professional.

Description of Work: Our 52 inch tv delevolped screen problems. Called Advanced Electronic Solution LLC afer reading reviews on your web site. Tech.came out next day on time and quickly found problem . Tried an old stand by trick to get unit working until board could be ordered. This failed and then in great detail explained that if board to replace unit was not the whole problem then tv was doa.Part was ordered tech. came to house after calling.This part turned out not fix tv and was advised cost would be not worth it. In addition he cleaned up some wiring issues I had . This was all done with charge of first visit and no further costs were accrued by us. We are thinking of of using them for some other projects in the future.

Description of Work: THIS WAS A WARRANTY CALL ON SATURDAY AND MIKE RETURNED MY CALL VERY FAST. WE SCHEDULED A TIME FOR TUESDAY, 11:30 - 12:30. HE WAS HERE AT 11:30. Description of Work: I called this company becasue I was having a problem with my TV. Mike explained how a service call would work, how much it would cost, etc. He was very patient and thorough. When I asked him what he thought might be wrong given my TV's symptoms, the first thing he mentioned was that it could just be a bad connection. While we were booking the appointment, I checked the connecitons and sure enough, one was loose. I tightened it, and that fixed the problem. In other words, he fixed my TV over the phone!

Description of Work: My electric black out shades in my home theater stopped working.I had a couple different shade companies come out and tell me i had to replace all shades and motors (six windows 2500-3000) Mike came out and replaced some electronics and saved me a couple thousand dollars. I will call mike out for all my future electronic repairs/upgrades as he "knows" what he is doing.
