Discreet Restoration

They told me I would have to hire their specialist to first test the specific "type" of mold that was apparent on the wall behind the valve leak in my shower. Why would it matter if the mold was apparent on the wall? My guess is they were hoping I would make an insurance claim out of it so they could gouge, costing all who pay insurance in the end. Thank goodness I did some self research and sought honest mold professionals. Saved myself 350$ for needless testing and steered clear of their service. Honesty leads you through good paths; unfortunately, that is does not appear to be their motto.

I had to back out of the original agreement (est. $2800) because after researching & placing a call directly to the AC subcontractor (Ductz Doctor, also on Angie's List) that DISCREET uses, I determined that the subcontractor DOES NOT perform the tasks either outlined in my original contract or required to remediate the mold in the air handler/ducts in my home. I relayed this information to Mike Gonzalez, Field Manager. I ended up contracting PART of the work to be done by DISCREET ($700) which was performed by Mike, Field Manager, and he did a food job. I hired ANOTHER company (also on Angie's List) ) to thoroughly clean and sanitize the Air Handler, remove and clean its inner parts (coil, blower, etc.), and clean AC ducts & all vents in order to remediate the mold.

Efficient, proffesional, honest, super clean made sure everything was done from beginning to end. Always kept in touch with me and explained everything being done. Had experienced disnhonest and unprofessionalism with a couple of other remediation company’s when getting estimates. Josh, Alan and Mike were always available during the process and were easy to work with. After the work was done I asked if they would leave some of the equipment to hold the plastic barrier walls while I was having drywall replaced and they gladly left it so my unit wouldn’t get dust everywhere from the drywall sanding. Would refer them and definetively use them again. A 1 company.

I would recommend. The 2 workers they sent were professional and efficient. My only complain had to do with their supervisor, who did not provide paperwork for insurance company on a timely manner. Had to contact his supervisor/manager to get it.

Very well. Came in as agreed, did the work as agreed. As it took less time than originally anticipated, Discreet reduced the price accordingly. Prompt and courteous, and "discreet"... We highly recommend.

Josh and his team are very first class. The first time we contracted them, they helped us through a difficult situation with professionalism and care. They were quick to identify the problem and act quickly on solving it. They are prompt, courteous and pay close attention to detail. I would absolutely recommend them if you need any mold remediation work done. After our mold remediation, I hired them again to help us with humidity issues we were having in the home. They are smart and creative and were very instrumental in helping to identify the problems and came up with solutions to rectify those problems. They put technology in place to help us closely monitor the activity in our home so that if there is ever another problem, it will be identified very quickly and resolved.

Two years ago, we had a water loss, which resulted in mold that affected multiple rooms in the house, including the AC system. Discreet, headed by Josh, who was very proactive, did an excellent job in eliminating the abnormal levels of mold and brought the house back to normal, which was verified by an outside company, which took samples from the house that were tested in a lab. Josh made sure not to incur unnecessary expense so that all mold-related damage was covered within the limits of our insurance. Josh also gave us practical advice to help guide us through the ordeal. Josh routinely goes above and beyond the call of duty. We were concerned about some algae formation in the patio area just outside the front entry to our house. Given our past history in hiring Discreet, Josh, at our request, came to our house and looked at the outside and the inside and assured us that the outside condition was exclusively an outside issue and had zero impact on the inside of our house. He also gave us tips on how to eliminate the algae. He also told us what he suspected to be the source of the algae so that we could take steps to prevent it from recurring. Josh and Discreet also provide quick service, even around the holidays. They care about their customers, which is something that cannot be taken for granted, especially considering the many competitors who do not care and who see their customers as dollar signs. We have recommended Josh/Discreet to our friends and we will not hesitate to use them or recommend them in the future as the need arises.

Discreet Restoration, and specifically Allen and Josh, the owner, demonstrated professionalism throughout the process. I had several questions at the beginning, all of which Allen was able to answer. He was willing to address all my concerns (something I didn't encounter with other companies). They were punctual and careful in their work and communicated clearly throughout the process. They really went above and beyond to make sure the problem was taken care of. I'm very glad I went with Discreet Restoration.

Excellent. Josh spent the time to do a complete analysis of the problem and referred me to a roofer. He didn't make any money from me - but that didn't stop him from spending the time to determine the problem. Beyond excellent service!!!

They did an amazing job I cant tell that the wall was removed. Above and beyond what we expected. They also did a great job of removing a carpet from the room. We really liked how they approached the job in a logical fashion. So far so good. Update: We have praised them to a couple of friends and recommended them to our insurance agent.

The service man was great! Other estimators came out and were going to charge me over $1000 to remove a small section of fiber board and clean mold from concrete. This company instead told me how to do it myself and even gave me the chemical spray for free. They are a great company with great values and aren't looking to rip people off.

I had discovered some water damage in the master bathroom and after doing a initial mold test, I received the bad news that there was indeed mold. After searching through the Angie's List reviews I decided to go with Discreet Restoration. From the beginning they were professional and courteous. They presented the estimate and I contacted them to setup the remediation process. The workers were on time and did a GREAT job with containing the area. The even had plastic protecting my carpet that lead out of the bathroom and out of the house. During the whole process I was informed about what was being done and they even went a step further and did some investigation and let me know that they had found some potential areas of where the leaks may be coming from (and these were ones that I was unaware of). I always felt that they had my interest in mind and that they took pride in providing an honest and quality-based approach when working at my home. Hopefully I never had water/mold issues again, but If I do I would not hesitate in using this company. I highly recommend them if you ever are in need of their services. Thanks Discreet.

We were impressed with the professionalism of everyone connected with this company starting with the salesman, Mike, to the crew, and air conditioning sub contractors, and Josh the owner. They were dependable, accessable, and puctual and very willing to work with the independant mold expert, and work around the contractors who were doing the build back. Discreet was not the least expensive mold remediation company that gave us estimates, but the company with whom we felt most comfortable . First impressions started with Mike who was honest and was sympathetic with our particular situation, and Josh who provided us with a thorough estimate of the scope of work we wanted done, unlike the other companies who didn't submit detailed estimates. We have had a lot of construction going on in our house this past year and have come to the conclusion that problems always arise, but a true test of a company's worth is how they resolve those problems. Minor problems did arise with Discreet that were brought to our attention, (which we probably wouldn't have noticed until much after they were gone) but Josh resolved them quickly and wouldn't accept final payment until we were satisfied. If I need a Mold Remediation Company in the future, I will use Discreet Restoration and I would highly recommend them.

work went extremely well, Josh is very patient and a true professional. Answered all of my questions and I had many prior to contract signing, did everything he said plus. His crew was polite and neat and generally considerate of my home. A little expensive and worth every penny mostly because they were in and out as promised. Josh dealt directly with my insurance company representatives making the process of filing a claim easy and painless. Good Job guys and thanks for helping me get my house back into shape. No specific mold problems were found but we discussed other causes of my allergies, dust mites, and get back to me on the results. He did exactly that within a few days and we both concluded that a medical consultation and follow-up was what I needed to do to deal with the dust mite allergy.
