Larry came out to measure and seemed nice enough. We picked colors, he took measurements and he left saying he would email an estimate. A week goes by and I had to contact him via email to get estimate. He did not respond right away and said he was having trouble with his email. We agree to the quote and he said he would get back to us about an installation date. We heard nothing for a week and when I called, the ladies at the office told me they would give him the message. When I finally got ahold of him he said he needed to come out and measure and finalize colors. To my knowledge, my windows had not changed in size from the first measurement and we had already picked out colors. When I told him this, he said, "Oh yeah. We need a deposit". I gave him $1000 deposit. He then told us he would send the order in for fabrication. Weeks went by. I would call him on his cell, call the office and send emails. He would respond about every 4th attempt to contact him. He said he was having trouble with his cell phone and was going to get a new one. (wow! email trouble AND cell phone trouble. Yeah, and the dog ate my homework). He finally sets the date of installation a full 8 weeks after the deposit was made. I took off work on that Friday to be at the installation. The night before he emails me saying he does not have the materials and will have to reschedule. Thanks for making me waste a vacation day. He sets it for two weeks later and assures me it will be installed that Friday. Again, I take off work and, again, he sends me an email less than 24 hours before install and this time blames the fabrication company because they were having "trouble" with the motors for the motorized shades. He tells me it will be another 2 to 4 weeks before they ship the motors. That was enough. I demanded my deposit back and have gone with a different company. What a terrible experience with this company and I am amazed at how unprofessional Larry Mistrestra was during the process. His blatant lies, lack of communication and non-caring manner are great reasons to pass on this vendor.

I would like to thank Larry and Cheryl Mistrella, owners of The Blind King and Home Interiors, Inc Port Richey, Florida, for being professional and responsive to a difficult situation I was having with one of their product suppliers.
When all hope was lost dealing with this supplier, I contacted Larry an Cheryl and with one five-minute phone call, Larry
offered a solution and took full responsibility for the lack of professional service from this supplier.
I now have the correct blinds that match the offices and look great!
The Blind King truly deserves an A rating for customer service and product. Deal with them direct for any of your blind needs and I'm sure you will be happy and, if not, they will quickly remedy the situation.

Larry came to give us an estimate and advised us about which windows would work best. He even suggested not doing a window we were thinking about changing indicating through his experience that we would not be happy with the results. He helped us pick out the appropriate blind and did a great job of installing them.
We are very happy with our new blinds and would defiitely use Larry at the Blind King again.
