He very bluntly told me to be answer the phone when he called and be ready with my credit card to pay. I didn't care for his disregard for our agreement to make arrangements, nor his attitude to 'be ready'.

+ -1 moreIt was hard to schedule an appointment with them. They wouldn't schedule an appointment after 3 in the afternoon. I work so that made it difficult to get an appointment scheduled. Then they wanted us to buy a contract with them.

+ -1 moreit started out well, they were very polite and punctual, came when they said they would be there. They new what they were doing. Acouple of times the ants came back before there next time that they were to come, we called them and they came right out to get rid of the ants, we are renewing there contract
Description of Work: we used them for fire ants, and they come every so often and spray for ants and any other bugs, we also had a rat come in the attic through the roof vents. They fixed the vents and put some traps around and the rats were gone. We are renewing our contract with them this month.

+ -1 moreThe services seemed to be effective, as we did not have any problem with indoor pests. However, after the initial one-time treatment when they sold us the annual contract, the company did not communicate with us; that is, they did not call in advance to schedule or even give advance notice that they were coming, and did not give us reports after they provided services. On one subsequent visit (the last one under the service contract) the technician did knock on the door and tell us he was there. We told him about a specific insect we noticed was plentiful in the back yard. He did his service and left without speaking to us again or leaving a report, but the insect population in the back yard seemed to decline significantly. In fairness, we did not attempt at any point to contact them to ask for any extra service or information, but would have preferred they be more proactive in keeping us informed.

They made my appointment quickly and I thought they were thorough, I have not seen any bugs since and they were pleasant. It was a good experience. + -1 moreI used an Angie's List Big Deal special for this service. They came out and spent more time getting cobwebs down than they did spraying stuff so I did not call them back again. I think he was thorough but I don't think he spent enough time spraying for bugs; he spent more time cleaning the spider webs out of the pool cage. He kind of flew around with the sprayer.

+ -1 moreHe was very friendly and patient in looking for any problem and sprayed the spiders and webs and that was effective a few days later. But telling me I now had a larger problem with termites. I had to have peace of mind due to I had just invested lots of money in the remodel of the home and did not want any damage to the new construction. I should have gotten another opinion and certainly seen some evidence after the completion of the spray of dead termites and when I had the spray of big headed ants I saw hundreds of dead ants just after 1 day of the spray from another company months before I started this big remodel. The end results; I do not think there were any termites and certainly not worth the money and I never say any evidence but the several dots on the floor that the inspector called evidence of termites. I do know what a termite looks like and thought after the spray that I would see some dead ones around. NOTHING dead in the house . Lots more work to the walls to make them look good that I never anticipated. Will not use them again. Recommend getting quotes from 3 companies. I usually do but when I told them that they were willing to drop the price $1,000. and remove any guarantee I accepted the deal. Don't recommend dealing with the first company, question the work you have to do later and get more evidence of the insects.
Description of Work: I had them out to have small insects (little spiders) removed from one room. They did the "special " spray and then said I have evidence of termites. I allowed the place to be inspected for termites. He checked the home and said I needed to have a termite elimination in all the walls. Cost of $2400. I was wanting the home to be free of any problems and was assured that if the treatment was applied I would have 15 years of protection and the inspector said he saw evidence of small dots all of equal size that showed termites were indeed in the house. I never saw and problems from them nor a termite anywhere. Seems that I would find a few dead after the spray. I did not. I asked what it entailed. The answer: He would spray a dot size hole every 12" on all the walls (one side only) I only needed to touch the dot with matching paint. We discussed a less cost and if I would be willing to not have the guarantee he would drop the price to my offer of, $1,000. dollars less. He came back days later and proformed the service. When I arrived I saw smuges the size of a tennis ball over every dot hole. These smuges were on all the walls. I cleaned, washed scrubbed and wiped but the smuges would not come off. The spackle he applied to each hole was not smooth so I had to lightly sand all the dot holes and even fill some. Then I painted and the matching paint showed a difference as it was just painted about 4 months back and the blends did not hide the dots.nor smudges. I had to touch up large areas and still today many of the smuges show around the house. Some Areas I painted the walls. It was very time consuming very disappointing and unsatisfied if there were even any termites there. So it turned out to be an added expense to fix the cover up of all the hole dots thru the house. It took days to even get it to look okay.

Pest Eliminators had a coupon on Angie's list, which we purchased for the one-time treatment and estimate for ongoing services. They were extremely courteous when we spoke and visited the home promptly to perform the requested services. Following the servicing, we received a complete report (no significant bug issues!), along with an estimate for periodic treatment of interior/exterior premises, applying full credit for the one-time service we had already purchased. We have signed up for the periodic treatments. Pest Eliminators worked well for us and we recommend them to other Angie's List members for consideration.

Description of Work: I bought the service for a one time visit and they offered me a year for 99.00 and I just had to pay the difference. They will visit quarterly and even take care of the yard if red ants appear. They checked under the house, went all around the house, behind wall switches and everywhere else a bug could come in. I was very happy with their prompt service,the ease with making an appointment and Phillip was very professional and very nice to work with. I absolutely will recommend this service to friends and neighbors.

+ -1 moreThe person who answered the phone was courteous and helpful. Brian, who performed the inspection and service, was professional, punctual, polite and explained everything to me as he went. The price was a little high but I'm sure it's because the service provided was not an inexpensive one. I would definitely use the company again if needed.
Description of Work: My parents' house had been sitting awhile and there were rodents inside as well as a termite issue. Brian came out, inspected the inside of the house (including the attic area) and the outside of the house. He gave me his evaluation and service/price options (bringing down the price if I chose a package) deal and returned the next day completing everything that needed to be done. The house will get check-ups every week for one month and I have received calls telling me he was there and performing inspections.

Description of Work: Listened to my bug problems and gave me options for bug control with no pressure. I opted for the yearly contract and Anthony quickly applied the spray throughout the home and even up into the attic. He took off face plates and sprayed right in the walls. Within two days - no bugs at all after spending 6 weeks battling them on my own.

+ -1 moreI initially called these guys in oct of 2011 after I had just purchased my house and I wanted to basically get back to ground zero at to when, where and how much was done. Long story short I was Injured and could not return to my house for almost a year! The pool people the yard folks all kinda let everything go to h***. Not these guys, I had a contract with them for a year and they took care of me while my parents lived at the house!! Awesome group of folks and I will use them till I move on or they close their doors, which won't be a problem cause they will do fine!! PLUS they have bad a** trucks!!! Fords, but awesome graphics, just sayin!!
