Hart's Painting

Hart's Painting painted the exterior of my home last summer. I wanted to wait a while before leaving a review to see how the job would hold up. I am very happy that I went with this company. Thomas Hart is a no BS guy who was a pleasure to speak with and do business with. He takes a lot of pride in his company and only employs workers who he believes will do quality work. I am extremely happy and would use them again without a second thought.

Extremely thorough and super professional. The house looks brand new. Highly recommend Tom and his company.

I can't say enough about Tom and his crew. His price was competitve and his work was top notch. From estimate to completion, I am very pleased. He came in to paint after some work had been done at my home. It would have been easier to come in before, but despite the new already painting crown molding and new kitchen, they did a marvelous job. My new floors were protected perfectly as well as the entire house. Tom was a pleasure to work with and I have only good to say about him and the paint job. Im so glad I came across him on Angies List and I recommend him highly to anyone.

Tom Hart came out to check out our 1930s clapboard house to give us an estimate for exterior painting. We had very specific desires for the painting job we wanted and explained our needs. We're very concerned respecting our old house and did not, for example, want it pressure washed, and instead, scrubbed. We felt we needed that change as a precaution against water getting behind the wood clapboards & destroying the original plaster. We also wanted the siding & trim brushed, not sprayed. We understood this was not a run of the mill job and that it would take care and a commensurate estimate. Tom Hart called us back the next day to say that our job was really not the sort his company can do. He felt that his painters were not suitable for such detailed, custom work and that I needed to find a painter, not a large crew because his crew paints several houses per day and for the way they work, he couldn't trust them to complete our specialized job in a way that we'd be happy. He recommended a person he knew (who ultimately, though he came out to see the house, never called us back with an estimate). I was very grateful to Tom for not flim-flamming us & saying he could do the job & then not being able to deliver. I respect and admire his honesty, a quality rare in these parts, these days.

Our house had not been painted for many years and Tom's staff undertook the extensive preparation required in advance of applying paint. We cannot say enough about how good Tom and his staff were in undertaking this project. They were professional, courteous and took pride in their work. The crew stayed on the project until it's completion and left our yard in excellent condition. Most importantly, the house looks great and we are pleased that we chose Tom for this project. We wouldn't hesitate to retain Tom for any future painting projects.

Tom Hart and his crew were EXCELLENT and PROFESSIONAL from start to finish! Tom scheduled an appointment for an estimate quickly and arrived right on time. We had received four additional estimates for this same work and all four estimates were in the same ballpark price-wise as Hart's Painting, however Tom Hart was by far the most thorough, knowledgeable, helpful, honest, and professional when reviewing the work that needed to be done. Once we hired Hart's Painting, they quickly provided us with the documentation (license, insurance, etc.) required by our Homeowners Association. Our HOA took weeks to approve our application for painting, and Tom was nothing but patient waiting for us to get the approval from our HOA board. As soon as we received approval, Tom quickly schedule the work. From start to finish, the job took about six days to complete. His crews were here from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. everyday. They were all professional, friendly, considerate, respectful, and helpful. When they left at the end of each day, everything was cleaned-up and put away. Our house, deck and driveway look fabulous! With such a great experience and outcome on the outside of the house, we are hiring Hart's Painting to paint the inside of the house now! (Another plus, if asked...Tom has great ideas for colors, etc.).

They were great. I love it. They were very professional. I had a problem and they came back to fix it. It was great.

Mr. Hart and his crew are very professional and excellent workers. The works covered everything that could possibly be contaminated with paint. They immediately removed any drips. Mr. Hart was there every morning and evening to supervise and check on progress and to check on my satisfaction. He was extremely helpful and determined to make sure that I was satisfied with the job. I was extremely satisfied and will use them again and will recommend them to others.

I have gave him a deposit check as requested. He called me today and told me a story that he had painted a building in the past and they ended up not paying him and asked how does he know that he is going to be paid by me. I have paid him the deposit. He stated he was concerned about receiving his money and he stated he did not think he should paint my building. He did not say that there were any issues other than he was concerned that he would not receive payment. He did not say any concerns about me paying him just general concerns of being paid. Exterior building painting requires permits and therefore will result in an out of pocket cost for me.

Great job. Tom is a hard working gentleman who takes pride in his work and goes beyond what is expected to deliver the best service possible to his clients. Highly recommend!

Tom was wonderful, his staff outstanding and when completed my home looks beautiful. Before painting I had in mind to change the front door. After the job was completed, the old door looks fabulous, almost brand new. Tom and his staff saved me hundreds of dollars. Also there is was stain on my driveway which I thought was caused by his staff. Tom personally came out and tried to remove the stain. As it turned out, it was my son's car that caused the stain. He went above and beyond! Would highly recommend this company to anyone interested in quality work, professionalism and job performance. Oh did I mention he and his staff left the work site immaculate! I will be contacting him in the near future to paint the interior of my home.

Tom Hart arrived on time for the estimate. He gave me a competitive bid and I hired him Tom and his assistant arrived at the agreed upon time to start the job. The work was done in a courteous, efficient and professional manner. Their job performance was excellent. Clean up was excellent. I would recommend Tom to my family and friends.

We had a 9am appointment for a quote and I called at 9:15 and he responded what time is it now? Totally didn't care he missed an appointment in his tone. Not a great first impression.

This is our second time to use Hart Painting; we originally used them to paint the exterior of our house. Again, everything went very well. They were on time (between 8 and 8:15 every morning), on budget, done when they said they were going to be, and not too messy. The quality of the painting was very good as well. I will definitely use them again and recommend them.

It was a pleasure working with Tom and his team. They were all very professional and meticulous in their work. From my first contact with Tom it was clear that I was dealing with a professional. I obtained a couple of quotes before making my decision to select Hart's Painting and I must say his quote was the most thorough, including many details....from pressure cleaning, staining driveway and pool deck, type of paint, etc. He took a lot of time with me and my husband reviewing color combinations for the exterior paint, driveway and pool patio stain, Epoxy color for garage, accent walls, etc. Overall a great experience and we plan to use Hart's Painting for our rental property.

I recently purchased my home and it was in desperate need of a new paint job. It looked like it had the original 16 year-old paint. I called Hart's and Tom came right out to discuss my color choices and provided me with a quote. He arranged for a pressure cleaner to come out and his brother spent a day prepping my home (filling in cracks, etc). They were able to paint the entire exterior of my home, including trim, in about two days. Hart's did an excellent job! I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

I had used Hart's Painting to paint the outside of my home a few years ago and was very satisfied with the job so I called Tom Hart again to give me an estimate on painting the inside. He showed up on time and spent a good hour with me going over all of the details of the job. There was a lot of patch and prep work to do on the ceilings and interior doors and there was crown molding in four rooms that had to be painted by hand. This was extremely time-consuming because of all the nooks and crannies in the dentil molding. Heavy furniture had to be moved in every room in order to paint the walls and baseboards. In addition, there is a built-in wall unit that needed some touch-up to cover nicks and chips in the existing paint. Tom explained exactly what he would do in each room and promised to get back to me with a proposal ASAP. I received his detailed estimate by e-mail the next day. The quoted price wasn't the cheapest estimate I got but I knew from experience that I could trust Hart's Painting to do a great job. I wasn't able to schedule the job right away because I had other commitments, but a few months later I called Tom and told him I was ready. He came back out to review the job once again and to finalize what I wanted done. Fortunately, he was able to schedule my job for the week I requested. On the first day of the job, Tom arrived at 8 AM with two painters and got them started. On the next day, an additional painter joined the crew. Cordell, Lazaro and Dario were always on time, cheerful and eager to please. They covered the floors and furniture to protect them and they always cleaned up the area when they left for the day. When there was a problem with a color match on the wall unit touch-up, Cordell took the paint back to Sherwin Williams to have it re-tinted to achieve a perfect match. My husband and I were extremely pleased with the results. The house looks fresh and beautiful and it was well worth the inconvenience, the disruption and the paint smell! I highly recommend Hart's Painting. Tom Hart was always responsive to my calls and concerns. He came to the house several times over the 6 days to make sure that it was going according to schedule and to see if I had any problems or complaints. The painters on his crew mentioned how much they like working for him and I think that says a lot about his company.

Tom and his workers did an excellent job in all areas of our house. They moved all large furniture and were very careful in replacing items to their original locations. They even replaced all window treatments and even reinstalled wall mounted shelving to its proper location. We will definitely rehire when needed. Thanks for a great job. Especially the texturing on the walls in the office.If anyone would have seen that room before it was done, they would also say WOW to the finished project.

Tom was very polite and took the time to explain everything. The painting had to stop because of bad weather, but they continued working on it as soon as they could.

They arrived when scheduled and finished a day early. Their preparation before painting and attention to detail was beyond any painter I had used previously. I would recommend this company with gold stars!
