Description of Work: Move in cleaning of empty house

Description of Work: Deep cleaning after a remodeling including bed spread washing.

Description of Work: I had them come in to clean an empty house top to bottom before the movers delivered our furniture. It was very short notice and they were able to accomodate my request. Cheryl came and walked through the house with me and we discussed all of the areas and things to focus on. Extras besides general cleaning were dusting blinds, washing the insides (only) of the windows, and cleaning all the window sills. I explained to Cheryl that I am meticulous and besides just general cleaning, I wanted extra attention paid to the 'nooks and crannies' (she even wrote it on the estimate sheet). For example, the kitchen cabinets and pull out shelving, I wanted it swept, disinfected, and thoroughly wiped out (there was evidence of mice). When they were almost finished, they had me come in to inspect. I noticed some areas in kitchen drawers that still had crumbs and dust. She was OK with going back over it even though she said she had already vacuumed it out but would do it again. I think they would've been happy to do it all again if I had had the time to stand over them and point out all the areas they missed. If I had had time to do that, then I would've just done it myself in the first place (which I ended up doing anyway). Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed to have to go back in behind them after paying $400 and sweep up mouse droppings and crumbs inside the cabinets. I called Cheryl to let her know what I had found and the other deficiencies of the 'deep cleaning'. She apologized and offered to send someone out on Monday (this was Friday afternoon when I discovered). Waiting until Monday to have someone come out would have delayed my unpacking by 3 days and obviously, you have to have your kitchen set up so you can eat. I would've discovered the deficiencies sooner, however I was dealing with carpet cleaners, painters, the moving company, an exterminator, and moving out of my rental house by the deadline. I just figured when your job is dedicated to house cleaning, that such obvious things would've been taken care of, especially all the mouse droppings and crumbs out of the cabinets. They also neglected to pull out the oven drawer to clean under it and to dust the hinges and hardware inside the cabinets (definitely not thorough). Again, when you pay someone $400 for a whole house deep cleaning, this shouldn't be missed. The ladies who came to clean were very nice, I just think they rushed through it. Maybe they did vacuum out every drawer and cabinet, but I swept up a small pile of crumbs, dust, and mouse droppings from each cabinet. I took pics and offered to send them to Cheryl if she was interested. She didn't seem to be but said she would talk to the girls and be happy to send someone out again. Besides not being able to wait for another attempt at cleaning, my opinion is if you didn't do it to my specifications the first time, you probably won't the second time. And who has time to stand over someone and point out everything? It was just easier and faster to do it myself. Extremely disappointed and wish I had that money and time back.

Description of Work: The girl that cleaned the kitchen ,did a very good job--the other girl did a poor job, I had the Sales Rep. come back and go over what was (not done)--I was very disappointed. Bathrooms were not sanitized, most window sills,ledges,louvered doors,miniblinds,ceiling fans,lamps were not dusted, etc. mirrors cleaned, floors not vacuumed,etc.
