I’d say they’re my go-to company at this point – if they’re available. Their prices are very competitive, they use heavy-duty machinery, and they work very quickly! They do a lot of government contracts so they’ve figured out how to do the job quickly and do it well.
Description of Work: Pressure Cleaning Professionals has always done great work for me!

Spoke with Lauri Cox of PCPI Building services very personable and professional lady with a delightful sense of humour. She listened patiently to my situation and gave excellent advice. This was the first time I had ever handled a project of this size and expense, on my own. She explained everything to me from the preparation, paint to be used and what/who to expect. She kept me well informed for the duration of the project. Troy came out to give me an estimate and introduce the painting crew to me. Even offered to help me get the lid off a large pickle jar I was struggling with. There was stucco that needed to be fixed/repaired and cracks that needed filing. The house turned out beautifully and I was receiving compliments from the neighbors within 24 hours of project end. I would definately use PCPI building services again and highly recommend them. Thank you Lauri, Troy and the painting crew. My home is a work of art!
Description of Work: Prepped and painted the exterior of the house which hadn't been painted in 10 years

Jose seemed to be a very fast worker and did almost all of the work by himself. I found out later that he was not licensed to do all of the work that he did. I believe that the owners of PCPI each came by at least one time after the job began. I met with or spoke with all three men who represented the company at some point prior to or during the work:Keith, Shaun, and Troy.None of the above mentioned representatives of the company came to my house to inspect Jose's work after the job was completed. After during a thorough cleaning and putting our bathroom back together, I took a shower in the rebuilt master bath shower. I stood in a half an inch or more of water the entire time and almost slid down once due to the amount of standing water in the shower. The shower floor is almost completely level and large amounts of standing water was left on both sides of the shower drain. I did not use the shower again due to this problem. I found out later that PCPI violated codes by not pulling a permit in Orange County for the shower pan to be tested and inspected to be sure that it was done correctly. They also used green board for the walls in the shower which is also not according to current industry building codes. Troy told me that greenboard is perfectly acceptable in a shower enclosure after I questioned him about the problems. This company was recommended by Jeremy M., the claims adjuster, for my insurance company. My insurance company says that they are not responsible for poor workmanship and that I am on my own. Jeremy says that he did not force me to hire PCPI. I have asked the representatives of PCPI to come out and look at the problem in the shower. No one from PCPI has come out to see this or ever stated any regret or apology. They did send Seefelt Tile to supposedly correct the problems but he assumed that we had the correct backing behind the tile and had nothing to say when I told him that it was greenboard which is no longer used behind tile that water comes in contact with. Expert and licensed plumbers said the tile installation was of poor workmanship and not completely straight nor were the walls. My last communication from PCPI was on May 17, 2012 which stated they would have a proposal in a day or two of what Mr. Seefelt was going to do to correct the shower. It is now June 25, 2012 and I have not heard another word from PCPI. I am asking for a full refund in the amount of $5,632.19 from PCPI which was paid by my insurance company and included my $1,000 deductible.
Description of Work: We had water and mold damage due to a leak in the wall in the master bath shower. PCPI Building Services tore out the existing shower and surrounding walls. They also removed the vanity cabinet which had mold and water damage. They did mold remediation, rebuilt the walls, rebuilt the vanity cabinet, put in a new shower pan, and new tile in the shower. One man did 90% of the work.

Response from PCPI Building Services
We were contacted at the end of February, 2012 by an insurance adjuster regarding mold damage to the member’s bathroom. We proceeded to complete the mold remediation and repairs to the shower. On March 20th, 2012, the member signed a certificate of completion with our company, indicating she was satisfied with the work that had been done. The first week of April, she contacted our office and the insurance company regarding drainage issues in the shower. The initial complaint that she made was that the water did not drain properly. We told her that we would send someone out there to look at the problem. She then stated that she did not want us to send out the same person who did the work originally. She wanted a “highly qualified” tile setter. Our tile setter was “highly qualified”, however, in an attempt to grant her request, we contacted another tile person to go out and look at the shower to evaluate the problem. This tile setter found thatt here was one area in which the water was puddling. He explained that we would repair the shower base using the same exact tile (as we had some left from the same lot). At this point she said not to bother as she did not want that tile in her shower, stating it was “thin and institutional looking”. At the onset of this job, numerous samples of tile were shown to the member and she herself chose this specific tile. At completion of the job she also signed a Certificate of Completion indicating her acceptance of this tile. At that point she began adding things to her complaint that were inaccurate (she claimed that we did not use Durrock and only used Green board, etc) .There is no way that anyone who looked at her shower now could determine what materials were used behind the tile. We have receipts for the materials purchased showing that the proper material was used. The member seemed determined to hire another contractor to redo her shower, and did not accept our offer to repair the area where the puddling was, which would have alleviated any drainage problems. We tried to rectify the problem with the homeowner, but was not given the opportunity to do so, instead the member chose to hire another contractor and is now requesting reimbursement for the entire job, where only $1,835 was allocated to the shower repair.

After a chimney fire my insurance company sent out an inferior General Contracting company who claimed that they would be superior in all aspects of my rebuild needs. To make a long story short, within a week I asked that they be released from my job as I did not have any faith in them. After instructions from my insurance company, I started to find individual contractors to do the job, without using a general contractor. After submitting my quotes to the insurance company, the insurance representative that I was fortunate to eventually deal with, brought out a general contractor to meet with me and go over everything I had done to date. The services of this contractor were offered, however I did not believe that I needed to utilize a G.C. The company that I am referring to is PCPI Building Services. The first gentleman that I met was Mr. Shaun St. Dennis. This young man made me feel at ease immediately and confidant in the commitment that would be given to my project. Shaun spent time explaining the services that would be provided and listened attentively to my concerns. The professionalism and the integrity that was portrayed made me second guess my decision in not using a General Contractor. I did make the decision afterward not to use a General only because I was firm on the sub-contractors that I had chosen. It was only for that reason, and that reason alone that I did not use PCPI. My insurance representative brought Mr. Keith Knowles out to my home the following week as not only an advisor to her, but to safeguard me. Mr. Knowles, like his partner Mr. St Dennis was polite, professional, compassionate and empathetic. I formed an instant trust in these two gentlemen and had I had the opportunity in the beginning to have PCPI building services as my General Contractor, I would have. Although I did not utilize PCPI, both Shaun and Keith advised me that if I had any questions, to feel free to call them with any questions or concerns that I may have. I have the upmost confidence and complete faith in the commitment to any customers that are fortunate to work with either Shaun or Keith at PCPI building services. The knowledge, high standards and the passion to provide excellence is rare these days. I believe wholeheartedly that you will find it here with Shaun and Keith at PCPI Building Services.
Description of Work: I spoke with them about general contracting needs.
