The price was $ 2900 and although it could be bought cheaper online, I had an interior designer working with me and she took me there. My complaint is with their installer, Ed. He was suppose to be at my house at 9:00 AM. He calls me at 9:10 and wanted my address for his GPS. He showed up at 9:50 and finished at 2:30. 4 hrs and 40 min of labor. He rights up an invoice for Venice Lighting and puts in for 5.5 hours of labor. I questioned him and he said he was at the security gate at 9:45. I said OK 4 hrs and 45 min and I can see you rounding it off to 5 hrs but where do you get 5.5. He wouldn’t answer me and never said another word. No thank you, good bye or anything. I wrote the check and figured when I talked to the owner, David at Venice Lighting, he would correct the problem. Wrong. When I called David, he stood behind the installers actions and said the installer gets paid from when he leaves his home. I said, that’s bull crap. No integrity and no more business from me.
