I base this review on two years of contracts and can cite dozens of examples of poor quality work on an ongoing basis.
Description of Work: This company was contracted by our HOA for 2010 and 2011. They work with a lot of HOAs and my supposition is that they are in tight with th CAMs (Association Managers/Bookkeepers) who like the simplification of working with only one company. The CAMs push hard for this company. Sadly, our HOA Board are liberal on spending and have low standards on quality. Dogwood are highly expensive and the assigned crew perform a rotes, half-blind routine with no attention to detail and a great deal of toxic roundup. They pull the tops off the weeds from not taking the extra millisecond to work the weed roots out of the soil. They have no training on pruning dead wood, or using pruning snip - they have down our perennials with a line trimmer, seriously damaging the growing crowns and leaving an unsightly mess. They do not edge the lawn straight. They ignore debris drifted into the flower beds. They shear the lawn so low they hit dirt in spots....then don't show to mow for 3-4 weeks. Their goal: leave the grounds ASAP. In my opinion their motto should be "Let Your Yard Go To the Dogs!"
