Silva and Silva Cleaning

The crew of three was punctual and thorough. They cleaned window blind slats which I did not expect. One did bathrooms, one did floors, and the third did dusting and vacuuming. They came with a checklist of the things they will do, so I can customize the request.

Silva and Silva have been cleaning our properties for over a decade since we moved to the area. They do a superb and thorough job! Celia Silva is a pleasure to work with and her staff is great. Celia and all of her employees work hard and pay attention to detail. They are great around children and pets in the home, too. They can come and go in the home as needed, and they are very reliable.

They had a full schedule but came after hours and did a beautiful job. You can see in the first photo how dirty it was, and in the second one, how clean it came, especially the sides. The stool looks like new. They took great care not to loosen the canvas and the braid trim. They were neat, polite and efficient. I will definitely have them back to do my carpets.

The experience went very well. Paul and Celia contacted me to let me know they were running a little behind schedule which was not a problem I appreciated their phone call. The tile and carpet turned out very nice. My wife and I are very pleased and will hire them again. As a matter of fact, Celia will be cleaning our house as a result of the work they performed.

We were very happy with the results. the outside screens are very difficult to clean, even brush clean and it took a long time. The ladder has to be moved from one spot to the next. We have a corner unit so there are many screens. The windows look beautiful. The tile floor is much improved. All the furniture was moved out and then moved back. The workers were very professional, very neat and clean and left everything in perfect condition.

My home is 25 years old and after they finished cleaning the kitchen tile and grout, it looked brand new. They did an outstanding job and I recommend them to everyone I know. I never expected the floor to look this magnificent. Every time I look at the floor, I continue to be amazed with how outstanding it turned out. Beyond my expectations!!! Cost was very reasonable, too!

Silva and Silva did a wonderful job! I do not live locally, but needed a 5 bed/3 bath house in Naples fully cleaned, along with ALL the windows inside and out (huge ones, high ones, sliders, the works). Celia was extremely helpful throughout the process, especially since I wasn't able to be there to show them what we needed to have done and went over everything via phone and email. Celia updated me throughout the process and was always available, even though I booked the job on short notice. After I had my realtor inspect the house, I was told they did a thorough job both inside and out, and left the place spotless. They were on-time and did exactly what was needed. While they were slightly (slightly!) more expensive than the other cleaning companies I spoke to, it was worth it to not have to worry about the process and know everything was getting done right. I'd highly recommend Silva and Silva to anyone for their cleaning needs.

From a how-clean-is-the-house-perspective, fine. From any other perspective, Total Fail. Summarizing, cause details would be too long: First: they broke our shower door but did not tell us. It's highly unlikely they didn't know - the door won't close! We have to replace it, which will cost several hundred dollars at least (custom-made shower with custom door). Had they told me I would've been bummed but understanding: things happen. Not telling me, however, was dishonest. I can't trust dishonest people in my home, especially people who damage stuff but don't own up to it. Second problem: they stopped working early (20+ minutes), but charged me for the entire scheduled time. I paid, cause I don't like arguing with strangers, didn't know about the shower door, and would've tipped each of the two ladies more than the difference if they'd worked the full amount of time. Yes, I'm a pushover. But not enough of a pushover to bring back people who rip me off or recommend them to anyone else. Third problem: when the owner contacted me to set up another appointment, I shared (in more detail) with her everything written above. Not with ugly language or threats but as directly as stated here. That was sent 11 days ago *and read by the owner 10 days ago*. Her response since then? Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Nothing to say she's looking in to our broken shower door. Nothing to say she regrets that her employees damaged our property or overcharged us. No contact at all: to acknowledge the situation, apologize, offer compensatory services, or anything. Which is appallingly unprofessional. If you want people in your home who break things but don't tell you, over-charge you, and are employed by someone who is unprofessional and does not stand behind her services in any way, Silva & Silva is a great option. If not, stay far away from this company.

I have used Silva and Silva many times and they arrive on time, get the work done, and stick to their quoted price. I will continue using them in the future.

It was easy to schedule, they confirmed the appointment and called afterward to see how it went. The cleaning was done very well and in a timely manner.

It was fine. The price was fine. They should have done a little bit more in the shower.

I contacted Silva and Silva late the morning of Wednesday, March 9 asking if they were interested in cleaning a home in Bonita Springs for my elderly in-laws. Celia responded within an hour with a pleasant email that included her cell number. My mother-in-law called and company rep was at the house on Thursday to give an estimate. A second company we also contacted for an estimate made an appointment but didn’t bother to show up or call to reschedule. Silva and Silva cleaned the house this following Tuesday, March 15. My mother in law called Tuesday evening just raving about what a great job they did. “They brought in ladders and scrubbed up as well as down.” “Everything is spic and span”. “They were so nice and they did a wonderful job. You be sure to tell them.” “This house has NEVER looked this good!” I cannot say enough about what a help this has been not only to my in-laws but to my wife and me because, you see, we live 1800 miles away, in Buffalo, NY. To be able to contact an unknown company and not only have them respond quickly and professionally but to have them go above and beyond to do this quality of work for two elderly people who can no longer do it themselves and we can’t be there to help is priceless. They are sufficiently trusting of the company employees and their work they are in the process of making arrangements to have the house done every couple of weeks. Fine work and exceptional customer service. Can’t say enough about Silva and Silva.

Very efficient, trustworthy, prompt, and hard working people. They are very good about calling ahead to confirm the time they will arrive. The price may be a little on the high side, but the quality can't be beat.

They were great! My elderly parents, now in their 80's, never had cleaners in the house before, and refused to do so for years, despite increasing inability to keep the place tidy. The place still has lots of clutter, but at least now I know that they have a clean bedroom, bathrooms, and kitchen. I called Celia in advance to brief her about the situation, and she in turn, prepared the team (2 women) on what to expect. They were remarkably gracious and efficient as they went about the hard work of getting rid of significant amounts of dust, soap scum, etc. My parents were quite anxious about "having strangers in the house," but ultimately saw how much better everything looked after a few hours of deep cleaning. Next up is to convince them to hire Celia's crew for regular cleaning. If you've got elderly parents in Naples, and a house that needs attention, call her! They were great! Gave me peace of mind that my parents are now living in a more sanitary environment.

They were simply awesome. We spoke on the phone and I was in need of a last-minute cleaning. The owner went out of her way to fit me in her busy schedule and they did a fantastic job cleaning my entire 2500 square foot home. They also made sure the lanai and garage were clean and I could´t be happier.

With very little notice Celia was able to send out two people to clean my property after a rental move-out. It's 3000 sq ft. and they were able to get it done in three hours, top to bottom. They are fast, thorough, considerate, and punctual.

2 ladies came and did a very thorough cleaning of house. They were very professional, friendly, and provided their own materials. Excellent job.

They were fantastic! Attention to detail stands out most in my mind. They were prompt, professional and really cleaned my condo! It smelled great as well! The best part, they used their own cleaning supplies! I would highly recommend them to anybody that wants a good job cleaning their house.
