Lawn does not look any better after 3 treatments

The first appointment I created needed to reschedule due to a conflict of a fence being installed. When I called the office the woman who answer was very accommodating and reschedule my 2nd appointment for today (12/29/2014). They gave a window of 8:00 to 12:00 noon. I was pleasantly surprised when they showed at 8:30 am. There were 2 technicians who were able to quickly assess all my zones and identified 2 heads that were broken. They fixed both and adjusted 2 or 3. Before doing any corrections they spoke with me to address their findings. I was very impress with their professionalism and speed in doing their job. They let me know they would contact their office who in turn would reach out to me about the bill. I cannot praise this company enough and will be telling all about them. If I need work in the future for my irrigation system, they will the company to call.

I recently had a fence installed and they found two places the sprinkler pipes had been cut by the fence company. The charge to fix the system was a bit high

They came out and adjusted my sprinkler system. I also had a leak somewhere in the system so the guys started looking at my manifold. Once they found the valve with the problem they started to replace it. However during the replacement, another pipe broke and the guys said they would be back out on Monday to replace the manifold. All this work was done on Monday as discussed. However my sprinkler system is still leaking. I have called at least 20 times left at least 5 messages for them to call me back and have never got a response. I wouldn't mind using them again but if you can't get a hold of the office personnel to schedule appointment how are you suppose to get anything done. The guys that did the work were very nice and seem knowledgeable.

Unfortunately, I am out of there service area. They notified me within 2 hours of booking the deal, which is why I gave them an "A."

Technician was professional and prompt. He explained all of the details of the issue with my valve tree and provided an estimate. The cost came in a little higher because two of my valves were defective. All costs were in-line with the service estimates to include hourly labor rate and parts. Two months after the service I had issues with one of my zones. They came out within 48 hours of my call and figured out I had a defective clock. The reset the clock and the zone was active again. I chose to defer replacing the clock at this time due to budgeting. I will use active to replace the clock and for all future sprinkler system repairs in the future.

I thought that they were very professional. The gentleman that came out to do the work, was a very hard worker. He spent most of the day out here. It is a little early to tell exactly how they are going to turn out but, they look good.

He felt that he might have needed to go back . He did minimal work and then told me he didn’t think anything else needed to be done.I would not recommend him. It wasn’t a thorough job

Techs were prompt & courteous.

I had several issues with my sprinkler system and my grass was starting to die as a result. Dan came out and fixed every problem exactly as needed. He was professional and made sure I understood everything he did. The lady who scheduled the appointment was also very professional and responsive. I had received a quote for the repair a few weeks ago and it was double what Active charged me! Fair and honest people! Active is an excellent provider and I would highly recommend them. I will always call them for my sprinkler needs!

Al(hope the name is correct) ,very nice ,very professional, and took all time needed to make sure all was ok,,aprrox .one hour. Very impressed with this company and would use and recommend them.

He did a great job and was quick and efficient and gave recommendations on extra things to be done. Very professional and punctual.

He was a very personable guy. I enjoyed speaking with him and hearing his advice.

It was ok, but not great. They did what they said they would and it was an average experience.

The tech was punctual and quick. No complaints. The system is still working just fine.

Their response time was very good and they followed up well to ensure that the appointment was scheduled. However, after the work was complete, I did not hear back from them. There was more work supposedly replaced than actually was. For example, they were to replace one of the sprinkler heads. To this day, one of the sprinkler heads does not work right even after other companies have come out. I also found them to be overpriced and it was not a pleasant experience. I would not use them again.

The first guys came out to repair the sprinklers were great. They went out of their way to fix problems with the pipes and set things up for sod to be laid. They were professional and hard working. They did have one flaw in that they despite having an electric access by the sprinklers asked if I had an extension cord which they then cut off the ends wired the sprinkler controller to the extension cord and ran it to an outside plug. I would have expected them to open the electrical box and wire it properly. Next the guys showed up to do the yard cleanup and sod. This is where it went all wrong. I have tried twice to get the owner Victor to come out and take a look at the work that was done. Because I don't think he would be happy with what his company did. The employee that came out to my house to do the sod was a bad egg and was fired by the company. He was also a scammer and took me for money and was also doing the same to the owner of this company. Which is why he was fired. So I have had to deal with that outside of this and isn't reflected in this review. What is upsetting is that when he was here to lay the sod they did nothing but week-wack the yard and lay the sod on top. They didn't get rid of leaves, debris, or the landscape fabric that had been laid for old beds that I wanted to now cover in sod. They didn't till or use a sod cutter or anything to prepare the ground. I had two types of grass they put the kind meant for shade partly in shade and partly in sun. And the sun variety in full shade and filled in the rest. It was almost like they didn't know the difference. They didn't bother to trim off any edges that stuck over on concrete or over walkways and access boxes for underground utilities. Stone walkways were covered with sod. They were also supposed to haul off some debris like a fallen limb and some compost bins, but they left them. The grass has of course mostly died despite having followed all the directions and treating it. I have called Victor twice to get him to come take a look at the work that was done. But he hasn't retuned my calls. I am pretty sure that if he had called me and listened to what was wrong he would have wanted to make it right. I think most of this was because of an employee that was a con artist (which he fired) but he doesn't know what the work looks like that he did on his last job before being let go. The worker probably knew he was being fired and did a crap job on my yard knowing he was out the door.

It was a very, very good experience.

They did what they said they would do.

I was very pleased with the service and would strongly recommend to anyone who needs help with sprinkler systems.

Was expecting them to come back with a bill for all of the things they found that were "broken". Much to my surprise, there were no extra fees and no extra charges! The adjusted everything and all is working great! I would use again in a heartbeat.

Shari, who fields most of the customer calls and schedules service, was very nice and genuinely seemed sympathetic to my situation. I was quite upset about extremely high water bills which most likely were connected to problems on the irrigation system. While it did take more than a week for them to be able to schedule a tech to come to my home, at her own suggestion, Shari did put me on a cancelation list to get my appointment moved sooner if possible. The tech that did come was very nice and professional. He ran through the system, made adjustments and repairs and was done in about 45 minutes. So far the sprinklers seem to be working well. If I have irrigation issues in the future, I would not hesitate to use Active again.
