I've used this company every year for a sprinkler tune up and have been very satisfied. They do not try and sell parts or services that you don't need. Extremely honest compared to another company that tried to charge hundreds in unnecessary replacement parts.

He actually showed up days ahead of time as there was a cancellation and I was available. he was polite and very professional. He promptly addressed the issues and I was very happy withe the over all cost.

It went well. They were prompt. They seemed very professional. There was a trainee they had with them. I have used them before and they brought a trainee with them who was not very well versed I would say.

I bought a big deal for this service. I think he put in everything I already had and it did not seem to water any more so he did come in and give me an extra sprinkler head. It cost between $1,200 and $1,500 and it was just redoing everything I already had in the ground. I told him it was not doing any good so he finally got with his boss and they decided to give me another sprinkler head. They told me before they started that the sprinkler heads would put out so much more water but it did not do any more than the other ones did. They did the work fairly soon, within a week or so, but the guy told me I needed that work done, and I did not need that work done. They told me I needed a new pump, but I did not need a new pump. Nothing changed. I believed what he said and it was not true.

Mike arrived early (which was fine with us), dug up, cut out and replaced zone one valve (Hunter system), and replaced two rotors within that zone. I was present during repairs and learned a great deal from Mike about the system. He also double checked to see that the other 3 zones were all working correctly. He was done within an hour. We originally obtained a $42.50 Full Sprinkler Tune-up from Active Lawn Care & Landscaping, Inc on December 22. Active Environmental, Inc. is apparently the new name.

They called to say they couldn't service my area. They were at least very responsive, however I was disappointed that they didn't specify on the ad or profile what exact areas they cover in the deal. Zip codes would have been helpful.

He sent an email informing that I was out of his area. I am seeking a refund from Angie's List.

Active Lawn Care called us promptly after we purchased this deal, and when we had to reschedule they were very cooperative. The technician arrived promptly and set right to work. He pointed out the problems and made appropriate recommendations. Apart from the broken and misdirected sprinkler heads there were no big issues, but it was helpful to have a knowledgeable person review how well the system was working.

They were punctual and efficient and the job was priced reasonably. I had to make a couple of minor adjustments but I was satisfied and would use their services again.

All work was completed except they left bent sprinkler heads. I like the company just that particular employee needs to put away his phone and work. Just my opinion. His communication with clients could be much better. Without Shari's input I would have been miffed.
