Fred is both professional and caring, He actually came out the same day I called him. He understood my needs and fulfilled them without any hesitation. The quality of the work was better than I hoped for and he went above and beyond to be certain I got everything I needed. I could not have asked for a better experience. When the time comes for me to do the rest of my apartment, he is the first one I will call. Please call this company. You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic! Frederic is the owner and he is very hands-on with his worker. He came by to give the estimate and explained the whole process. I expected a huge mess, but it wasn't really bad at all (plastic screening is put up so the dust doesn't go into the rest of the house....and the dust in the actual room wasn't very bad either). He spent a lot of time hand treating the heavily stained areas. The end result was that my 50+ year-old kitchen floors looked so clean and shiny that it looked like it was covered in water! I could actually see my reflection in the floor. Frederic took time to explain how to properly care for the floor, and when I had trouble finding the cleaner he suggested, it "appeared" on my front steps later that day! Now that's customer service!! Would hire again, and have already referred him to a friend who was also very happy with his work.

Frederick and his team did an amazing job restoring our terrazzo floors. Frederick was very informative and passionate about the work from day one. A consummate professional. Nearing the end of the job, Frederick even cautioned that the floors did not come out as great as he had hoped but to us they were amazing - that says volumes about Frederick's perfectionism and attention to detail.

Frederick is very punctual, kind and professional. His people did an excellent and professional job, they also come back the next day to perform an additional cleaning on the bathrooms marble walls without even charging us. We are very grateful and we really recommend him.

The results were excellent and I was quite pleased. Our marble floors never looked so shiny! The job took the better part of four days. The workmen were very professional and covered areas where we did not want the polishing material to go. I do not know how long it will be before we have to polish again, but I would definitely hire this company again. They are very good at what they do. Thanks for a job well done.

The company were very professional: punctual, scrupulously clean, hard working and knowledgeable. Most importantly, they passed on their enthusiasm for the job in hand. I had just wanted to get the tiles clean, but Frederick restored their youthful glow. I learned how to keep them in this new condition for years to come and I sincerely hope that anyone with old tile floors call this company.

From the beginning to the end of this project, Frederick was kind, honest, and professional. When we first called him to come clean our bathroom floor and gave him the dimensions of the room, he said that it was a smaller job than he typically does, but he would come out and take a look at it anyway. He was surprised to find that the floors are limestone, which is apparently uncommon in a bathroom. He was very upfront and let us know that because of the material, it would be virtually impossible to get each and every stain out, but he could make it look a lot better with some resurfacing. The man arrived as scheduled to do the resurfacing, and Frederick stopped by during the process to quality-check it and stayed until it was finished. Both of them were extremely professional and courteous, explaining all the necessary information. A few days later, we noticed a strange burning smell in the bathroom, and our building's maintenance man said it might be from having the floor resurfaced. Upon calling Frederick, he said that he'd never heard of resurfacing limestone causing a strange smell, but he offered to come look at it anyway. It turns out the smell was unrelated to the floor, but while Frederick was here, he set up a time to come back and remove the water stains around the toilet and sink, which were still there after the initial resurfacing. It worked amazingly, and he just came by again today to seal everything. He recommended a detergent we can use to clean the floor and prevent further stains. We are very grateful for Frederick's quality of work as well as quality of character, and we highly recommend him.

I contacted AA&J Floor service to do some work on a granite piece. After months of renovations in my condo the granite piece in the kitchen which extends into the living area as an island became dusty. In particular, the split piece (between the part in the kitchen and the part in the living room) had some imperfections. For some reason I thought polishing it would bring back to new. Frederick himself responded quickly to my AL private message and later contacted me over the phone within a day or so to arrange for a visit. He came on time and kept me posted. At home, he inspected the granite and was honest enough to suggest his services were not needed. He recommended that I could improve the granite myself in ways he later explained and save some money. I offer him some compensation for the *wasted* trip to the condo but he refused and looked more than happy to simply help. I got started with his recommendation and indeed it appears it is all I will need. Because he was honest I would most likely contact him in the future if compatible needs arise.

Frederick was extremely honest and forth coming. If you want a cheap quick job, he's not your man. he will tell you that himself. But if you want a meticulous job done slowly which will look like a brand new floor, he's your guy. The job was so spectacular, I was upset it was our rental property. I told him I wish we used him for our home. Oh well, maybe next time. You won't regret your investment, and learn from me. Do it right the first time.

Overall, wonderful experience. Frederick is a true professional. He was formal, communicated throughout, supervised the job daily, delivered beautiful end results and provided after-care instructions. Our floors in our new home were new to us, we've always had wood floors but these limestone floors looked like a diamond in the rough. They had their share of neglect but we knew they could be something really special. Frederick also fell in love with our honed blue-gray limestone and made sure he met our expectations. In the end we have beautiful floors we will enjoy for years to come. He even left us a bottle of floor conditioner as a gift and I know I can call him if we run into any concerns with the care and maintenance of these very unique floors.

Frederick and his crew were very professional and offered many options for refinishing and restoration based on my budget. They were flexible on my schedule and finished the work on time and on budget. The completed project is fantastic!

If I were to describe the service provided by Frederick and his team, I could sum it up with one word: OUTSTANDING! Extremely professional, polite, punctual and the quality of work is phenomenal. The first thing everyone notices when they walk into my house is the amazing shine of my floors. Some friends have actually thought the floor was wet! I can't say enough about this great company. I could not be any happier about the service they provided. True dedicate professionals!

It took them about three days. They did living, dining, kitchen, and a common area six times grinding with increasingly finer cleaning pads. Next day they did the same thing on three bedrooms and a hallway.. third day the came back for a find polishing of all areas. They moved the furniture and protected the baseboards. We unloaded books from bookcases and moved other small stuff. They returned furniture to its original position. The terrazzo floor looks spectacular. We should have done it years ago. Overall we are very happy with the professionalism shown and the quality of the work. Without a question if I needed the type of work they do, I would go to them first.

We were very happy with the result of all the work performed. The stain removal in the pool did not work, but Frederic the owner tried his best on numerous times. He ended up not cherging us for that work.

The floor looked like new when the job was finished. We were very pleased with the job and the cost!

Everything went according to plan. Frederick was on time for my estimate appointment, explained everything that was going to be needed to restore my floors and had a quote for the job emailed the same day. I agreed to the cost of the project, even though it was a bit more money than I expected, because of his string of recommendations on Angie's and the fact that he took the time to explain the process step by step. I did not bother having another bid for the job, I felt very comfortable working with Frederick and his company. They showed up to start the job when promised, moved all the furniture required, very carefully taped of baseboards, etc and went to work. Because of the condition of my floors due to lack of care and a previous company's botched job, the job took a day longer than planned, but there was no extra cost, and the Cuban tile floor in my 85 year old house looks better than it probably did when new., certainly better than when I bought the house and had to hand strip the paint that was covering the tiles. I will definitely use this company again when needed, and recommend them highly.

I may grind and polish my floors and may go ahead with his recommendation. However I wanted to pass on to other Angie's list reviewers of how professional, punctual and honest the owner of AA&J Floor Care is.

It went perfect. I have been using this company for over 20 years. They represent the best in customer service, professionalism and courtesy in all ways. They are always prompt and on time and we have always been very pleased with any service they have provided with the floors, tile, etc. I have referred them to many friends over the years that have always called to thank me for the referral. I have had some bad experiences in the recent past with a couple different companies I found on the internet and it really makes you appreciate a good company with quality service that you can trust when you have had one go in a negative direction. They are reasonable in their quotes for any services provided and if I could give this company more than five stars I would. They are on the top of my list as top-notch. Don't look any further when looking in the area for these services. They are the best. I will be posting reviews on the other companies to make sure no one ever experiences what we did with some bad ones. A A & J Floor care are the best!

I contacted Frederick and he came out to the property as scheduled. HE took a look at the job to be performed and provided a quote promptly explaining exactly what would be done and what to expect regarding some of the stains and repairs needed along with a time frame for the start and completion of the job. This was the 2nd quote I received, the 1st being also from a very well rated company but at a cost higher than my budget. The difference between the 2 companies is that one has a much heavier grinding machine which would have been needed if I did not remove the thin set myself. Another point was that the other company wanted to bleach my floor for 7 days and this elevated the cost of the job. Frederick did not request any money up front which to me assured me that he was confident with the work they could do and that I would be satisfied. I am extremely happy with the way my terrazo floor shines, with the honesty and integrity of Frederick's company. Definitely consider them for your floor polishing. Thank you!
