Montgomery's Quality Painting

As usual, it was an excellent job. Jim has never disappointed us for the many years that we have used him. He is a perfectionist. You can always count on being satisfied if Jim Montgomery is your painter!

All excellent. This is not the first time we called upon Jim to make our house look good again. In addition to his superb workmanship, he is honest with a capital "H", and that has to be a rarity. His pricing is very fair, and he is very personable, punctual, and professional.

They provided me excellent customer service. He was efficient and a perfectionist. Didn't bother us, very dependable. Overall just a great experience.

I have the highest regard for Jim Montgomery and Montgomery's Quality Painting. Jim painted the outside of our house last summer and we were very pleased, so we decided to hire him for the inside painting this summer. We have a very small house, so we were a bit concerned about the logistics of moving things around. We felt that we needed to paint in stages, so that we could move things from one part of the house to another as we worked. In addition to doing another meticulous and high quality job of painting, we really appreciated the fact that Jim also was very flexible and worked with us in scheduling the painting in sections. It is very clear that Jim has a strong work ethic and is very honest about what he can and cannot do. He was not the least expensive bid, nor was he the most expensive, but he has certainly been the best in quality of work and customer service. We highly recommend Montgomery's Quality Painting.

Very well. The first colors I gave him were turned down by my HOA so I had to wait on a second choice. That was approved and he began the work. It did take some time as the weather has been rainy for the last few weeks, but he was here whenever the weather allowed. He is a very professional and consciencious worker and his work is excellent.

Jim Montgomery is a true professional. He's a one man show, and knows what he is doing. My first phone call to him was on a Sunday and I expected to get voicemail. Jim answered immediately and was just as accommodating as could be. My need was 1 full room with the baseboard, plus another room of just the baseboard. Because of the looming Christmas holiday, Jim was fairly busy, but he managed to fit my job in and got it all done in less than 1 day. My work schedule was particularly crazy that week and Jim worked with me to ensure the job was done in time for the holidays. Not only did he make short work of the job, his finishing is impeccable and I'm quite demanding for clean lines and nice finishes - there was not a drop of paint on the floor or anywhere other than intended. We WILL use Jim's service again when we are ready to paint our next room, or our entire house on the outside. Our driveway was a disgrace. The top layer of paint was chipped revealing several layers of previous color. It had not been properly stained in decades. I had tried several times in the past to fix the nasty driveway, but could never get workable plans in place for a reasonable cost. I called Jim and after discussing the problem he offered a professional solution. He recommended a sandblasting company that provided the first part of the plan and then he gave us a detailed estimate for completing the project. Jim helped us choose the color for our stain, and scheduled his work on a convenient day. The new look of the driveway has already been admired by several neighbors and makes us happy to see it whenever we come and go from the house. Jim responded to phone calls promptly, and made extra trips to our house to discuss the plan and explain his charges. We will definitely use Montgomery Quality Painting in the future.

Thanks Jim, excellent job! He arrived as scheduled, prepped both areas, painted and cleaned up (he brought a vacuum!!). His painting is great, he went the extra mile and he left the area cleaner than when he arrived. Jim came back the next day and pressure cleaned the roof, and cleaned our pool area and screened patio. I've asked him to come back to do another job. Price is right, he's an absolute professional. Highly recommended.

Jim actually was able to schedule our project very quickly knowing that we were anxious to start showing it.

It couldn't have gone better. You would not believe how gorgeous my home looks. Jim was careful with all the detail work as well as the not so detailed work. He was everything everyone raved about on Angie's List. If you look at the reviews, you might think, no way. I'll tell you - these reviews are right on the money (honest, timely, skilled, neat, communicates clearly, no issues). My neighbors were also impressed - they took his business card and will use him when they are ready. I would hire Jim again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend him to everyone. Jim mentioned he also paints interiors, which I didn't realize when I was searching for an exterior painter. If you are looking for an exceptionally skilled painter, you found him.

I can not say enough good things about Jim Montgomery. He is very conscientious, detail-oriented and thorough in his work. it is obvious to me that Jim's primary goal is the satisfaction of his customers because his work is meticulous, he returns calls promptly, and he keeps his word. It was well worth the wait and worth every penny! We will do business with Jim again, and I recommend Montgomery Quality Painting as a five-star business.

He took down the ceiling popcorn. He then primed and painted the ceiling, then painted the walls, then the floor. He did a wonderful job and was on time everyday. We had no problems at all, he is a very nice man. This is the second time I've used him and it's so nice to have someone that does what they say they will do. I highly recommend him and I will be using him again. His bid was the lowest of 2 other companies for this job.

It was a pleasure working with Jim. He was easy to communicate with and responded to messages promptly. He showed up on schedule and did the work expected. I am very happy with the results. The N/A response on price is due to the fact that I did not get any other estimates. I would definitely use this company again.

This is the third time we have called upon James Montgomery's Quality Painting. Aside from his excellent workmanship, he is refreshingly honest, punctual, and thorough. We have recommended him in the past and will continue to do so.

This is the second time I've had him paint my house. I feel like I can trust him. When I ask him questions he gives me honest answers. He's gives advice and is always on time.

He was excellent. He came when he was supposed. His work quality is excellent. Everything he did was superlative.

I reached out to Jim Montgomery for a quote and he returned my call promptly. He came out the next day to assess the work needed to repair drywall, spackle and paint numerous areas throughout my home. 3 days later I had a verbal quote followed by a written quote within the week. MASTER BATHROOM There were several areas of drywall that had to be repaired before he could begin painting. I also wanted the towel and toilet paper holder removed from the wall. There was one strip of drywall (5 feet by 5 inches) that was extremely difficult to work with because it was out of plumb by approximately 1/4". Jim painstakingly tried every 'work around' he could think of to remedy this but short of taking down the wall, he applied the spackle in a way that the defect is less noticeable. He really went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied with the results. He was finally able to paint the bathroom and it looks beautiful. Spackle and paint were needed around 3 interior window arches and a 2-story arched window. One bedroom wall was also repainted. He did a great job on all of them. Jim arrived at 8am every morning and stayed until he was finished with a particular job. He is very professional and courteous. He consulted with me before each task to tell me what he was doing and then again afterward for my approval. I am very particular with how I want things done and Jim didn't quit until I was satisfied. Our master bedroom needs a paint job ~ I am definitely calling Jim!
