The whole job went very well-Jim is a stickler for detail-He hand painted the whole fence,(the painter I had in the past spray painted it)His work in all areas was very neat and very well done-I am quite pleased with the way the job was done-He attached a new door bell and hung a new mail box for me. There was never any mess around the house during the job and everything was perfectly cleaned up before he left-He was very easy to work with, always polite and professional. It was a satisfying experience to deal with someone who takes pride in their work. I would use him again without a moments hesitation.

He did a great job. While his estimate was the highest of the three I obtatined i wanted the job done right. I knew the other two estimates were too low for the amount of work involved. Jim has great reviews on here for good reasons. He was great to work with and was patient when the color i selected for the trim did not look right. He helped me pick out another color which was just right. He worked very hard never cutting any corners. As he progressed he checked with me making sure i was happy as well as explaining each process. He continually communicated with me to make sure there were no missunderstanding and that things would be done right the first time. He called me a week after the job was completed to make sure i was happy. Jim did a great job and I highly recommend him.

Jim did an excellent job painting my house. I interviewed several painters before deciding on which one to go with. Jim wasn't the cheapest, but he was best able to clearly explain what his process was and the work he would be doing. He also itemized it in writing on the quote. This left me with a good initial impression so I decided to use his company. It turns out it was worth the price I paid. He did excellent work for a fair price and proactively completed all the work we agreed upon without hassle. He didn't skimp on the wall prep and made sure to fill in the cracks in my stucco before beginning painting. I had concerns over some possible water penetration in one area that I'd hope painting and sealing would address. He dug out dirt from the area to make sure he got any cracks and sealed the area without ruining the surrounding landscape. He took it upon himself to replace old caulk where necessary to get a good paint line or seal. Throughout the entire job he was thorough, accurate, and clean. He never left a mess or any kind of paint splatter. He was able to work around the rainy weather without rushing the job. My house looks great. It was a good experience and I would use him again for sure. Thanks Jim!

Despite the rainy weather, Jim was able to complete the job in a timely manner. He cleaned up each day, leaving no traces or his supplies. Jim was very easy to work with and I would use him again.

Jim responded timely to phone calls, showed up when agreed and explained, in detail, all work to be performed and the price to be charged. Jim performed all work as described. Phone calls were responded to promptly and communication was good throughout the process. Jim was easy to work with.

He is very good, efficient, and clean. You feel safe with him. He is very conscientious. I would highly recommend him. He is always on time. He always ask if there is anything else he do for you.

Jim always calls back promptly, shows up on time and calls when he's on the way. He doesn't rush the work - if one layer needs to dry for 24 hours, he comes back the next day to apply the next. We are very pleased with the painting and sealing and will hire him again for the ongoing maintenance of these items.

I hired Jim's company from an initial pool of 8. Price-wise, he was in the middle of the pack and his references on Angie's List were superb. Upon meeting him there was no question that this was the person I wanted to do business with. At the time the weather was pretty bad, and Jim sequenced his execution plan accordingly: interior painting; exterior pressure washing of the roof and the entire building; and when the weather cooperated the final exterior painting of the building and of the two arbors. I'm very grateful to Jim for the initial help that he provided in explaining types of paint, the pros and cons, how to address flaws on a wall, and the like. Several things stand out about my experience with Jim, which may help some of you in deciding whether to use him. He commits and follows through. He is very detail-oriented and precise in how he paints. He is very measured in what he uses. He doesn't waste, but he does not skimp. He is extremely neat. Finally, he's an awfully nice guy. Jim did an excellent job of prepping and painting, even while dodging raindrops. The house looks great. I've had painters in the past who left the remains of their paintbrush cleaning all over my lawn (even when they were working next door) but none of that this time. Everything was neat and clean, he helped move shelves and a freezer out of the way and put it back when he was done. The only hitch in the process makes this report even better. There was about a 4 square feet section that was not done because a duck decided to build her nest and lay her dozen eggs right next to the house. Jim worked very carefully around her so as not to disturb mother and eggs. He came back a couple of weeks later, when the nest was empty, to finish that section.

I have used Montgomery Painting for years and years. Jim is polite and punctual and does the job right. People frequently comment on how beautiful our house looks. Thanks!

He was my first choice, and I've never regretted it since. He does very hard work. He's painted the inside and outside of my house, as well.
