We had a wonderful experience working with S&W Kitchens. Our Designer Lacie was a wonderful resource and extremely helpful with the design of our kitchen and 5 bathrooms. She went above and beyond to help us make the the best design decisions for our new home. The building process can be stressful, ( I was 5 months pregnant while orchestrating this project ) Lacie helped us to keep focused through out the process. She made sure each choice we made tied in with the other selections in the home. We are very happy with our designer as well as S&W Kitchens.

After a previous kitchen project with S&W we were certain that they would be the ones to remodel our bathrooms. As expected, the same quality was delivered. Larissa was there every step of the way, creating a design that was what we had imagined and seeing every detail through to its final stages. Larissa's assistant, Yina and construction manager Mike were excellent and responded quickly to our questions. When looking for a company to remodel your home you want someone to trust and S&W is just that.

Great. They S and W team provided detailed design. We reviewed the design with Krista until it was exactly what we wanted. Then Tim and his crew built exactly what was designed. The schedule end date was the date the project was completed. The team was flexible with our family occupying a portion of the house. It you want to know exactly what you will have when finished hire S and W.

We started off great guns but then had a problem with the permit which put timeframes off quite a bit. Cleaned after each day. End product came out great and was totally satisfied with end results. Only concern I could voice is more communication. I like to know often what is going to happen next and when.

From the initial design, cost estimate, and construction everyone was very professional and very considerate of our specific needs. The work was completed 3 weeks ahead of schedule.

We absolutely love our bathroom remodels (Master and Guest). An outdated space was turned into our own personal spa. Our designer, Sarah Kraus was a dream to work with. A complete professional that helped us bring our vision to life making it nicer than we could have imagined. We are busy professionals with hectic schedules. Sarah, was considerate of our time and flexible with her schedule. Remodeling can be stressful. Sarah ensured we had a pleasant experience. She has great vision and will help you make the most of any space.

The project went super smooth and the results met our expectations, exactly. The S & W team put together a well thought out project plan, reviewed it with us in detail, including drawings, accessories, the timeline, and costs. There were no surprises except that it went as planned! The contractors who worked on the project were truly professional. The job site was kept clean and neat, the workers were personable and polite, the project manager was very diligent. Outstanding effort by all involved.

I've got nothing but good to say about them. I went with an independent guy just because he was considerably cheaper. Overall I would give them an A. The only thing I would probably give them less than an A on would be pricing; I would give them a B on pricing. But as far as everything else, I would give them an A across the board. I met them in their showroom, so I had some extensive dealings with them, so that's why even though I didn't use them, I feel I can evaluate them realistically because of my dealings with them. The only thing, I can't grade them on quality of work because they didn't do the work. They are somebody that I would recommend if I had a friend or somebody that said hey, should I contact S & W, I'd say by all means give them a call and listen to what they've got to say.

We were fortunate to have Laura Scott and Dale Thomas create a gorgeous master bathroom for us where none existed before. There wasn’t any existing plumbing and the electrical had to be totally redone as it wasn’t up to code. We live in an old 1935 house and they turned what used to be a very small 10 x 5 enclosed front porch into a spa like retreat. It definitely was an adventure as we encountered many stumbling blocks along the way as one does when challenged with renovating an old home. You never know what you might uncover including a few extra layers of floors, extra layers of ceiling and extra layers of walls. The original design would have been beautiful but because of all the adjustments we had to make the design morphed and developed along the way and it came out even better than the original plan and I wouldn’t change a thing or the process that got us here. Laura was fabulous to work with and from the moment we met her we felt like we had known each other for years. She was such a joy to work with and we felt that we were always on the same page when it came to coming up with materials or ideas. She definitely got our vision. I couldn’t have asked for a better team. Dale our construction guru was incredible when it came to having awesome and unique ideas that fit perfectly with not only our style but the style of the house. We kept having to change materials and adding and subtracting things and he was always so creative but always keeping in mind the era of the house and the fact that we were trying to stay true to that and we had a great time feeding ideas off of each other with the end result that the finished product was something we can all be very proud of. I cannot thank the team at S&W Kitchens enough for not only giving us the master bathroom of our dreams but also for making the experience one we will always cherish. Susan & Gary Drake

All good except very unprofessional at cleanup. We would call our designer and he would say it's the contractors job (both work for S&W) and the contractor would say contact designer. In the end, left to hire a cleaning crew ourselves. This is after $57,000.00 paid. They even said cleanup in contract.

Hiring S and W Kitchens was possibly the worse decision I’ve made as a homeowner. The project was started in December and was to be completed by mid-April. It is now well into August and the work has yet to be completed. I was told by Larissa Berendsen that all the materials would be ordered prior to demolition, was I didn’t know was that much of what was ordered would be the incorrect size, color, or style. My foyer tile was installed three times before they used the correct tile. Bedrooms were all painted the wrong color. The wrong interior doors were ordered. The wrong interior hardware was ordered. The wrong laundry-room cabinets were ordered. The glass panels on the custom front doors were incorrect. Hardwood floors in all bedrooms were damaged upon installation and had to be ripped out and replaced. The kitchen lights continue overheat and cut-out after 20 minutes of use. On one occasion, my neighbors called to let me know that my front doors were left wide open without anyone on site for hours. I came home to find my doors unlocked at least five times. There is a lot more, but this gives you some idea. I met with the owner, Joe Steenbeke, two months ago to address these glitches and he assured me that the problems would be addressed, yet two months later, I am without a finished home. I saved for seven years to afford a home remodel, it is heartbreaking to know that I gave my money to people who care nothing about their customers.

It went very well! I was kept informed by the construction superintendent of when things would happen. There were some hiccups, which can be expected; they were handled quickly to my satisfaction.

I first sent the email form they have on their website requesting someone call me for an estimate on a whole kitchen and two bath remodel. Two weeks passed by and I didn't get a response so I decided to call them. A salesperson told me I was assigned to someone and that they would call me back that day. I waited two days and called them back and explained the situation and the man on the phone just told me the same thing that I was assigned to someone and would be called back. I cannot do business with a company that doesn't even bother to call you back after speaking to two different people. Will take my business elsewhere.

Great! The kitchen turned out even better than I expected!

Can’t say enough good things about our experience with Lacie Rice and the team at S&W Kitchens. We engaged them for a full kitchen renovation & they exceeded our expectations. Seriously, how often do you get to say that? Our project was delivered on time, within budget and met all of our goals. The design was thoughtful and creative – the cabinet quality was excellent and the craftsmanship outstanding.

Excellent! Greg, the design consultant I worked with, walked (with) me through the entire project and he was thorough and knowledgeable. The workmen were competent, courteous, and prompt. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and outcome. I am planning on using them again for another project.

I hired S&W for a kitchen remodel in 2014 after recommendation from a friend. I was impressed out of the gate with their professionalism and preparedness for consultation by bringing BOTH the designer and the contractor for our first meeting to get an idea of what would be involved. While the price may have run higher than a "mom & pop" contractor or Home Depot, etc...S&W far exceeds them in terms or meeting commitments during construction, meeting prices as spec'd (no surprises), and quality of construction. I live in a condo downtown and S&W made my life SO much easier by dealing with my association for me. They handled the application, booking the freight elevator and establishing a rapport with our building staff. Having done such a great job with the kitchen, I hired them again 2 years later to do my master bath. I didn't even look at other contractors...with S&W, I knew what I was going to get and wanted the same quality of service & low stress all over again. They're simply fantastic to work with.

My kitchen project went like clockwork. Even though I am well-versed in the kitchen remodeling environment, it was very satisfying to know that there are several checks and balances in the process with S & W Kitchens. They reviewed my design, and made some suggestions that were extremely helpful. The project went without a hitch from start to finish, and my friends are extremely happy with the final outcome. I will definitely be using S & W Kitchens again with my future projects.

We mostly worked with Joe and Bill, they were great. Even though our job was not the biggest of jobs, they made sure we were completely satisfied and happy with the lay out of our project, before going ahead and ordering all the cabinets. Once we all agreed on the lay out, the cabinets and parts were all ordered with no issues. The bar went together wonderfully, and we are one happy customers. I would definitely recommend them to anyone, they were awesome!!

From start to finish Andrew Meeder, sales representative and very pleasant, was always giving updates on how the prefab was going and did all the footwork in meeting deadlines for the project to started and completed as agreed by the both of us. He arranged for the men we requested for the countertop installation as we have seen their work at a neighbors. Whatever it took to do the paperwork be it by phone, e-mail or US mail it happened. The project got started on a Tuesday with tear out and carrying away the refuse while trying to keep the dust as low as possible always cleaning up after themselves which was really appreciated. The men were always on time to get started. The counter tops were a fabulous job and any cutting was done outside. The job was finished at Friday noon and we were so happy with our new countertops. We would consider S and W Kitchens for future jobs hands down!
