Soles Exterminating

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. It was very good. They got rid of our ant problem.

A rodent infiltrated our house. Our previous exterminator provicded intermittent service to capture the critter without success. From Angie's list we contacted Dan Soles who promptly and punctually came to assess the problem. Our rodent must have gone to military Escape and Evasion school for it took time and all of Dan's 30+ years of experience and guiile before we successfully rid the house of it. Dan and his team approached the problem as if it were in their house. We were most grateful for the persistent attention he gave to achieving the successful answer to our problem . In the process he sealed our home against further intrusion of rodents and his monthly service has kept our home free of bugs, etc.

Outstanding!!!! Dan Sole is exceptionally good at his profession; he is knowledgable, flexible scheduling, prompt, clean and polite. He is always available if I have a question or concern. I have been a very happy n satisfied customer for the last 6+yrs... Dan provides a quarterly treatment, he sprays interior n exterior of home. Bugs/insects are not an issue in my home and I credit Dan's expertise n service.....

Soles Exterminating provides outstanding customer service and great results. I have Soles perform routine exterior spraying every other month. When I bought my house, I was having problems with sugar ants and more than my fair share of Palmetto bugs. Not my favorite! This has abated and I couldn't be happier. I even called Dan to assess rats that had nested in my soffit and he and has partner remedied that situation. Whenever I have called for interim concerns - like a wasp nest that sprung up over my front door - they were there the next day to take care of it. I couldn't be happier with the level of service provided and I highly recommend Soles.

Dan was great, he was polite, prompt, and explained everything very thouroughly.

The owner came to our house, after agreeing to do an extensive treatment of our new property. My wife had talked with him at length on the phone, and explained what we were seeking in pest control treatment. He seemed to have understood our needs, and had indicated that he was willing to provide good quality service. We are really sorry that this was a disaster, and that we are not writing a good review, because he seemed to be a very nice man. We were very disappointed in his lack of interest in doing the job completely. He entered the home with a little canister attached to his waist, and sprayed in perhaps 4 or 5 areas. He spent more time going to his truck, than the time he was in the house. We had requested that attention be paid to the attic, and specifically in baths and kitchen areas. While the owner did go up to the attic opening, and spent five minutes there, he did not treat the entire attic, as he never went fully into that area, nor did he move the ladder to the other attic opening in the home. So, even if he did treat the attic, it was only partially done. . I never saw him look under bathroom cabinets, spray along the baseboards , or even enter the kitchen . I could go on and on, as this company is a poor excuse for pest control. The entire job, including trips to the truck took 30 minutes, when I confronted him about this he stated that it was 50 minutes, I disagree. Then as he handed me the bill, I told him that I was disappointed in his service, and his reply was " that what you get for sixty five dollars". We were not looking to get a quality job, done on the cheap. This was the price he quoted while discussing our expectations, with my wife. I would have been willing to pay more for more extensive service. Look elsewhere folks, and save your money Additional Note in Response to " Soles" comments: My husband wrote his comments after meeting with the owner of Soles Exterminating, after having a less than ideal experience . When I spoke with the gentleman to discuss providing service to our home, I made it clear...ABUNDANTLY CLEAR what I was expecting from him. I discussed my experience in using powerful " do it yourself" products, and had advised him that I was seeking a thorough, and effective treatment of this new home, which had sat empty for two years. I explained that I wanted all PLUMBING areas done, the attic done, the baseboards done, the electrical outlets treated..etc. I wasn't looking for some guy to come in, spray a couple of areas and leave. I also told him that if he did a good job we would go for a contract with his company. My husband was well aware of my conversation with Soles, and my intense dislike of American roaches AKA: Palmettos, and he knew what I expected of this pest control treatment. Soles is attempting to say that my husband was difficult and hard to please. He is not, I AM. If I make an agreement with a service provider for a service, I expect it to be executed as agreed upon. If SOLES didn't want to do the job they agreed to for 65.00, he had every opportunity to quote a higher amount while talking with me. SOLES may have won service awards in the past, but I suggest that for whatever reason, they are riding on the spray of past glory, and that the can is now empty.

Fabulously. Entire condo treated (with bait). The ants took it and hopefully this will curb the problem.

Everything was great. Very professional

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it was fine. We did not pay anything additional. He came over, went about his business, and seemed to do a good job. I thought they were too expensive, and I think I can find a cheaper service.

Purchased as a 'big deal', we were having problems with roaches and ants. Sole came out, was very professional and courteous, provided treatment and explained some things we could do to help control in the future, and 1-2 weeks later I haven't seen any live roaches. We have used other exterminators and this was the first that actually treated around the outside of the windows instead of just the base foot or two of the house. Guaranteed work for 90 days, so if a problem arises, Sole claims to return. Haven't had to test that yet.

While taking care of my sister's property during her vacation I noticed a lot of black bees around one of her backyard patio supports. I had also noticed yellow bees coming out of a huge staghorn fern. Since my sister is extremely allergic to bee bites I had to get rid of them before she returned home and started working in her garden again. I went to Angie's list of course. and the first name on the list was Soles Exterminating. It was fairly close by and all the reviews were so positive I didn't look any further. It was a good decision. I called and was told Dan would call me back. I got a call within the hour and we agreed to meet at my sisters house at noon. Dan was there right on time. He told me what he could do to get rid of the bees. The price was right and he was prepared to do the job right then. What could be better than that? Dan told me they were honey bees and the ones in the Staghorn Fern were yellow jackets and more dangerous, but there were only a few of those and a nest was not found. Dan searched the grounds thouroughly looking for nests in the ground, but found none. He said I could just use a canned spray on the few that were there. Dan went back in 2 days to seal up the cracks in which the bees had their nest. He called to let me know he had been there so I didn't have to call him or wonder about it. I appreciated that.! It was a very pleasant transaction and I learned a bit more about bees.

Dan Soles contacted me soon after I bought the daily special. I had used him before for animal removal so I had no qualms about using him again for insect problems. Since I was very concerned about how my dog would react to the spray for insects Mr. Soles was very careful. He arrived when he said he would, told me exactly what he would do. He sprayed a limited area inside the house according to my wishes and sprayed the outside of the house carefully and thoroughly. He told me to call him if I had any more problems with insects. So far so good.

It went great. I had him out to the house and he was very generous with his time. He is knowledgeable in his trade. I very much appreciated it. I have had him out to the house, but I have not actually had him do the work. We walked through the house and addressed some issues that I have. I just have not decided yet what issue to address first yet. It has been a pleasure to deal with him. I will have him do the work.

Prompt, reasonable price and did a great job. Found ant source and resolved the problem. I will definitely use them if I have another problem.

Larry did a great job and I also had a carpet cleaner in the home and that was a mistake but both gentlemen worked around each other.

He did a great job inspecting the entire house for us. He said he thought the problem was take care of. He was very prompt. He could have told us that we needed to be sprayed again, but he was honest. I will definitely use him if we have issues in the future. He was reliable and thorough as well.

Called the service and Dan arrived as arranged. He surveyed the site which was a little difficult to get to and gave an estimate which was agreed to. He later returned and provided a treatment. A couple of days later he returned for a follow-up and, finding the colony had been destroyed, plugged the opening where the bees had gained entry.

They need to get another award! The tech was professional, clean, and responsible. He actually ended up saving me $300.

I NOTICED SOME GHOST ANTS IN MY FAMILY ROOM AND NOTICED THEM OUTSIDE THE FAMILY ROOM WINDOW. I CALLED SOLES EXTERMINATING ( I PURCHASED THEIR YEARLY CONTRACT) IN THE MORNING AND DAN CAME OUT IN THE EARLY AFTERNOON.

We discussed the problems that I was having (ghost ants, fleas, widow spiders on my porch). He explained what he was going to do and why. He treated inside and out. He told me to contact him if I saw any more problems, but not to spray any of my own. He gave me a contact number for him and left. He was extremely professional and easy to work with. He listened to me. He explained what, when, why, and how. He was careful about my pets. I was extremely happy with the service and we signed up for a contract with them.

Their service turned out excellent. I got them off your list. I would use them again in the future as I have a quarterly contract with them.

Identified the problem, exterminated and closed access.

Dan came when he said he would. I had seen a rat. Dan set the rat bait trap and checked for any intrusions into my home.
