I can't say enough good things about this crew! John kept in touch to get the work scheduled, so there were no surprises. This crew of three moved furniture, making sure that EVERYTHING was covered and protected before they actually started painting. They also helped with the bigger decorator items on the walls, taking them down and then replacing them when the work was done. These people are very trustworthy! I had to leave a couple of times during the three days they were here, and I felt very comfortable doing so. Their work is impeccable. The rooms look magnificent. The crew was very conscientious about keeping everything tidy, and did a marvelous job on the clean-up. Other than the new wonderful paint job, I could hardly see that they had been there. I really appreciated their work very much, and at the reasonable price (which included a coupon from Angie's List). I will definitely use this company again.

This is our 4th time with this company. We had the exterior and roof painted last summer, had the kitchen done in late fall, had the deck addition done in spring, and then this summer had the interior noted above completed. I have written previous reviews and am a little late getting this one out. John is our painter, period! He knows what he's doing. The prep work to safeguard surrounding areas is top notch, the assistance in moving furniture phenomenal. The wall prep, minor fixes, patching, etc is all attended too. The job went smoothly, it looks great, we are so pleased. He is punctual, clean, neat, congenial, knowledgeable, nice personality, friendly, professional and courteous. He is usually on the job, so if you need him, call and make an appt to estimate the job and then get on his calendar. Getting on the calendar is a tricky part, because he could be in the middle of something that he needs to finish, and the weather too if it's an outside job. Anyway, we will continue to hire John for all our painting needs in the future.

John Duggan and Dave did a MASTERFUL job in painting my house and making stucco repairs. This was probably the best contractor experience I've had. I had gotten two estimates off Angie's list , John's was few hundred dollars less than the other, but he also included soffit vent repair and more importantly repaired a stucco problem on a room addition. It appeared that when the addition was built a concrete form near the foundation was removed too soon and the concrete blew out. John spent the equivalent of one full day on this stucco repair beginning with power chiseling and cutting the concrete away. He then applied three layers of stucco before painting. The house was pressured washed on the first day, and John also pressure washed my decorative concrete driveway in front and wooden deck in back at no charge. I just came home that day and saw that it was done. Then John and Dave spent a day or so (rained off and on) prepping the walls, soffits and fascia, including repairing soffit vents as needed and caulking them in. This was followed by a primer coat, and then two finish coats over the next several days. They did not try and rush through their work so they could just be out of there. Instead they were very detail oriented to make sure everything was done right. All told they put in a solid five days work, if not more. When finished they cleaned up completely leaving nothing for me to do but appreciate their work and enjoy my home's new look. I give them a solid A+ across the board.

He and his team were professional and punctual. Even worked on a holiday and weekend to get the job done. They cleaned up after the work and left everything spic and span! They used a paintable grout around my baseboards resulting in a beautiful clean look. Took great care in protecting my home during the job. Can't say enough, without a doubt the best paint job I've ever had done!

His prices are amazing and he does a phenomenal job. His prices are fair and competitive. He is so nice and easy to deal with. Such a sweetheart. He is very good with his work. He has a big clientele from word of mouth.

I contacted John Duggan for painting the inside of my propery. He arrived on appointed time, looked at the home and as discussed promptly sent the estimate. His Estimate was very high. I could the job done with still more miscellaneous work for 50% of his quote.

From the beginning of this experience John was absolutely professional and easy to work with. I had concerns over matching the colors of paint we chose and John reassured me that the colors matched and even delayed the job a bit at my request so I could come out and confirm the colors were right. John set my mind at ease and I have already recommended him to friends. He is so easy to work with and has affordable prices. Thanks John!

All work was completed on time and for the price quoted. John was easy to work with and very thorough. The price quoted was very favorable compared to other estimates I received. I am very satisfied with the results.

We contacted John at Krown along with 3 other "A" rated painting companies on Angie's List. John was the first one to come out and give us a bid and oh boy, I must say, we were in shock over the price quoted and his estimate, of around $10,000, didn't even include any of the wood repairs needed. We couldn't believe it was going to cost that much to paint our house. Well, thankfully, after getting the other 3 estimates things looked a lot brighter. All 3 of the other bids came in 50% less than Krown's and they included the wood repairs. Not sure if John's prices are really that much higher than his competitors or if he purposely over bid the job because he thought it was too much for him and he didn't want to do it. No worries there. We are definitely going with one of the other 3.

From start to finish, I knew I would choose John and his company despite the fact that I had another top-rated AL member give me an estimate also. John is a master at his craft and his attention to detail is just impeccable. There is a particularly difficult part of my fascia board between the edge of my gutter and the top of my pool screen, and John managed to paint it (having to hang darn near like a bat to do it !). I had to work everyday while he and Dave did the job, but they always showed up before I left so that if there was anything I needed to talk to him about or show him, he made it possible. Hands down, the best experience I've EVER had with any sort of a contractor. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

John was a pleasure to meet and have work done. He came by and gave an estimate, specifying all work.in a proposal. We scheduled a date, however he had a postponement so he called and was able to come several days earlier. He and other worker, Drew, put plastic sheeting all around to protect everything. They did a great job filling in holes and cracks and then painting the ceiling and a few blocks down the wall. They were personable and efficient. Definitely will use Krown again!

John gave an acceptable bid. We scheduled the job. Shortly before the start date, a bird built a next near the house so the job had to be postponed. When the job actually started, it was rainy season. The guys would get set up and/or start, then the rain would come so they would have to stop. This went on for several days. Long story short, there were some issues which delayed the completion of the job that were totally beyond their control. They handled it well, with much patience. They did a terrific job. I would definitely recommend Krown and use them again.

This was one of the best experiences I have had. From beginning to end, John delivered outstanding craftsmanship, pride in his work, and terrific customer service. The attention to detail was impressive and his willingness to coordinate with my crazy work schedule was appreciated. I was really delighted that John erased all signs of the previous owner's attempts to mask fairly widespread cracking in the stucco with a cheap, DIY solution. He removed all the unsightly plaster, filled all cracks with the appropriate sealant and re-texturized and painted. Honestly, the exterior of my house is flawless. I highly recommend Krown and I am planning to use them again in the near future to repair and paint my pool deck. So happy I chose them!

John and his crew did an outstanding job from the start. They we're well organized, prompt, professional and courteous. We had the entire exterior re-painted, including a back deck and new addition on the front of the home. Prepped, primed, painted and trimmed. All of the work was top quality - I couldn't find one inch of the house that wasn't done perfectly. This crew was very thorough and took pride in their work. John kept me well informed each day on progress and remaining work. He kept exactly to the schedule he estimated. He also charged me exactly what he estimated, even though he ran into a couple things that caused him more work than he originally expected. We've had a lot of work done on the house over the last few months, and a lot of different contractors. John was by far, the best to work with and produced the best quality job. This is a no-brainer, if you're looking for someone to hire for painting work - call John. I would never use anyone else in the future.

We had actually gotten a bid last year from Krown Service but were unable to have the house painted until now. John quickly responded to my first call and said he would honor the original bid minus the cost of paint since we had already purchased it. He showed up on time every day and worked a full day each day. We walked around the house going over the details of what was to be painted and repaired or removed. John was very good about explaining and teaching us about the process. He offered to fill some holes in a cement block wall so that it would look nice after painting! John was very personable and was easy to work with. He and his workers did meticulous work and clean-up. We are thrilled with how our home looks! It was in sad need of TLC and now it looks like new!

We inherited our Clearwater house 10 years ago and have had it painted by semi-pros twice in that time. The painters were recommended by neighbors but won't be recommended by us. This time we checked with Angies List and found a winner. Krown Services was selected from the 4 bids we received. From beginning to end the experience was a study in perfection. John appeared when he said he would and did a perfect job with no mess and minimal disturbance of our daily routines. He even took it on himself to caulk a leak between house and carport that another bidder offered to repair at a cost of $1400. John charged us nothing for his caulking. They went above and beyond what they contracted for including removal of some built-in television stands which were no longer useful.

John and his painter Phil did terrific work from beginning to end. For over six decades I've done quite a bit of painting for myself, family, friends and non-profits -- churches, etc, -- as a weekend warrior/volunteer. I've also paid for a lot of painting by pros over the years in my homes and at my workplaces (several universities' facilities). We are doing a complete, inside and out, renovation of a nine yr. old home we bought a few months ago. John Duggan is simply the best total quality painter I've ever seen. It started with his quick response to my call and a quote session that explained every detail to me about how he would do the job. He was absolutely maticulous about every detail, and always pointed out to me items that needed to be addressed and how they'd handle it. He also gave me very good unsolicited advice (tactfully) which saved me from making several mistakes. He was very good in dealing with other contractors on site. In one case a pool renovation contractor started too early on a pool renovation while John was away for lunch. That dusty work could have ruined some trim work in the same area and John backed him off. My wife is partially handicapped and sometimes wanders off and gets lost. As a bonus John and Paul took it upon themselves to alert me on several occasions if they thought she might be in danger outside. As long as John is running this company he is the only call I need to make in the future when I need painting. His experience, honesty, excellent work ethic and pride in his work showed through at every step.

My recent contact with Krown Service and John Duggan was exactly like my previous dealing with John. John is a true professional in everything he does. He arrives exactly when he states that he will and provides excellent service. John is very meticulous in everything that he does. I previously utilized John to repair some water damage on a bedroom wall and paint the entire room. I recently utilized John to paint and repair the walls in my living room, dining room, entrance way and master bathroom. I moved into my house when it was barely two years old and the walls look much nicer now than when they were new. John did an excellent job removing the 20 year old wallpaper and repairing and painting these walls. When John stopped by to provide the estimate he also provided some suggestions on how to pick colors to transition from one room to another. His advice was excellent and we love our new colors and newly painted walls. At the end of each night John and his helper thoroughly cleaned up the area and transformed the living room back to normal. John is a pleasure to work with and I would definitely utilize him again. Thanks to John I do not plan on painting anything in or outside of my house again. If you are in need of some paint work, I highly recommend John. His superior customer focus and quality of work are the reasons that he has been awarded multiple Service Awards from Angie?s List.

My husband and I are so happy we found Krown Painting on Angie's List. Everything about John Duggan and his company is first rate and professional. We own a rental condo that needed interior painting, and Mr. Duggan came at 5:30 pm to the property, at my request after I got home from work, and met with my husband and me for an estimate. He stayed for about 2 hours and we covered everything from color choices to contract preparation, and when he left we were totally impressed with his professionalism and pride in work. The job started right on schedule and finished right on schedule, and he even called to let us know the evening he finished that the job was completed and the key was left on the counter and the condo was locked up for the night. The next day we checked out the condo and I couldn't believe how great it looked. The walls needed a lot of caulking and picture nail holes filled, all done!! John did all of the repairs and painting. The job he did was excellent. He is very dilligent, careful and professional. He takes great care in covering furniture, carpet, etc., in the areas where he will be painting. Also does an exceptional job of cleaning up when he is finished. This is the second time I have used John and have been extremely satisifed and pleased with both jobs. Would use him again for any minor or major paint jobs that are needed. I would give him the highest recommendation.

When we finally picked Krown (John Duggan), John came to our location with paint swatches that he had matched to a manual we had given him. We picked the shades taht we wanted. John showed up at 8am on Wednesday and he and Phil started to work. They did an awesome job. On the second day, we threw him a curve asking if he could paint an additional wall. He told us "Not a problem" This extended his job by about 1/2 day. They did an absolutely wonderful job and the price was great. They are punctual and courteous. They cleaned up everything afterwards. I am VERY pleased with the work they did I highly recommend John. Phil and Krown for any painting jobs, big or small.
