We were looking into having painting done in seven new rooms of our new home. After an exhaustive search of possible solutions and vendors Angie's list was recommended to us by a relative in NC. My wife joined we used a flooring flooring company and were so satisfied that we decided to use another provider. In this case Krown Service LLC. Without hesitation, the proprietor John Duggan asked if he could stop by and discuss our needs. We agreed. And after what turned out to be a most fortuitous conversation at our new home, we agreed to get the painting done. As per agreed upon time the crew from Krown arrived each and every day prepared to work. Well to say the least, As an artist, I appreciated the attention to detail that was given to every room, and any suggestions made were not random, but well thought out. Each room was properly prepared prior to painting. Taping was used where needed, hardware was removed without exception. This in itself told us something about what the results would be. Throughout the entire project every possibility and concern was addressed in a professional and courteous manner. Not only that, more was done then expected. The little details that others might not consider John and his associate Phillip did. Well, the results were wonderful, and upon conclusion the crew cleaned everything inside the house and outside. All the remaining paint was organized so we could use if needed for touch ups. Speaking of which. John called the day after completion remembering that there was something that needed to be addressed. Now that is professional. He went home thinking about the completed work and realized that there was something still to do. Kudos to John Duggan and his associate Phillip. This work experience was another positive experience with a company associated with Angie's List. That's 3 out of 3. Extensive wall damage was repaired perfectly. We had recently used John for our exterior painting and were so pleased with his work that we hired him again.

This company saved us hundreds of dollars by taking the time to match the ceiling paint to cover the stains from a roof leak. Without this painter's careful work our only other choice was repainting the entire ceiling in this open-concept house. He worked earnestly and successfully met our time constraints. He was prompt, always showing up when he said he would and always calling when he said he would. He kept us informed about his return time when he left. He was careful and neat, leaving no spatters or marks and draping everything. He didn't smoke. This painter communicated well, giving us a written, detailed estimate, making sure we understood the details, and answering all our questions. As the job progressed and modifications were needed, he explained fully what our options were. I am very happy with the job that he did for us and would gladly hire him again.

They arrived on time and ready to work as scheduled and finished right on time. They were clean and organized the entire time, providing no disruptions to our daily routines at all.

I am so happy, pleased, amazed and excited! Krown Painters did an excellent job. They did over and above. Everything was primed, caulked, painted to perfection! The entire experience was great. John is very professional, courteous, and prompt. The work was completed in the exact length of time he estimated, cost of the completed work did not exceed the estimate and I was very comfortable having John in my home even when I wasn't there. I would definitely recommend that you call John for your painting needs.

Comparing to other companies and services doing a major renovation in the front and on side of my house, John stands up very high. He checked the area, gave me ideas and advice, a reasonable price (I interviewed 5 different companies through Angie's list), came to do the work on time, finished on time, was extremely professional and nice. I will call him again for painting the rest of the house, and I will recommend him to my friends.

The house was badly overdue for a paint job, having endured fading and sun wear and peeling for the last 12 years, after a sub-par paint job. John and his helper were exceedingly professional and inordinately skilled. Their patient, meticulous approach was really remarkable. They spent an entire day just masking, taping, patching and filling. The job took a full week, as we were saddled with quite a bit of rain. We ended up doing four colors (a body color, a trim color, some white accents, and a porch deck color that, at John's suggestion, we made slightly different than the originally-intended body color to offer a bit of contrast). It was a smart suggestion. They were as unobtrusive as it is possible to be for this type of work - the only time there was even the slightest interruption in our normal lives was when they had to unplug the AC compressor for a while (so they didn't get any paint on the cord, go figure!) and for one day, the last day, when they painted the porch deck and we had to use the back door for a day while it dried. Oh, poor us. :) : They vacuumed up all debris and paint chips that were blown off in the pressure cleaning, and in general left the site in better shape than when they arrived. We love the new colors, we love the quality of the materials, and we expesially love the quality of work. We would not hesitate to use Krown for any painting needs. We will be repeat customers, and we will proactively offer our most sincere and highest recommendations to all of our family and friends that may need painting work done. It is very refreshing to see this level of painstaking "old school" crafstmanship. Thank you Krown!!!

We have used Krown's services in the past for painting the exteriors of a couple of mobiles and were extremely satisfied. So, we did not hesitate to call John again when we needed the interior painted on a third much larger modular home. Since there was no furniture to be moved and the carpet had been taken up to lay new flooring down we thought he could paint with reckless abandon. theHe painted beautifully and still didn't spill a drop! I have gotten so many compliments on the job from my neighbors and other workmen! John is the most professional man with whom I have ever worked. One workman was supposed to mud a wall for us in preparation for John to paint and thought he had it done....not so fast. John re -did what had already been done and made it look 100% better. It was an amazing difference! John had to break up his job with us in order for us to replace many windows. He worked us into his already loaded schedule coming in late afternoon to start. When he came back it was supposed to be just to touch up around the new windows but I managed to find add-on painting. John didn't even flinch. He did all the work we added on coming over the weekend to do it. Then he tried to barely charge us over the cost of the paint....outstanding work ethic along with excellent advice on our own do-it-yourself projects to follow. Our neighbors repeatedly complimented John to us on the time and expertise he expended with fantastic results. Next spring we'll be ready for the outside and John has already penciled us in.

The "A" grade I gave John speaks for itself. They arrived on time, cleaned up after themselves and offered me some painting tips and took the time to show me the best way to care for rollers and brushes. It was a very good experience.

Originally, we were going to do it ourselves. When we started to pressure wash, we realized how out of our depth we were. It?s an old house, with several layers of loose paint. We checked Angies List and Krown was highly rated and local. We thought that if we could afford him, we would use him. We were shocked at how affordable his price was. On our first meeting John painstakingly walked us around the house to make sure we and he didn?t overlook any details that might impact the cost or quality of the job. He discussed with us lots of options and didn?t seem to mind explaining why things are done one way or another. I am so glad we weren?t tackling each of those challenges by ourselves! He gave us a proposal that we were very happy with and then the project went exactly as John proposed. John and his assistant, Phil, were very nice and professional through the whole project. They completed the job in 4 days. They were very punctual and left our property in clean and tidy condition every day. They did a meticulous job on every surface, but we are especially tickled with how nice the front door and window trim looks. This is by-far the best exterior paint job this house ever had.

A lot of prep work was needed before painting could begin. Tenants had left numerous nail and screw holes in the walls; the outside door frames were in need of work; and there were chips and dings on outside corners. John did an excellent job of preparation, resulting in a beautiful finish. He was able to start within three days and finished the job in three days. It was a pleasure doing business with him.

I employed Krown service to paint the high ceilings and walls in my living room. They were punctual, competitively priced, and completed the work beyond my satisfaction. They were very careful to prep the space properly, and clean up when finished. I would recommend Krown Service to anyone in their coverage area.

Krown started when they said they would, cleaned and prepared the surfaces to be painted, masked off windows and other surfaces that were to be paint free. They even pressure strayed my sidewalk and driveway as part of the overall package. The masking (plastic and tape) around the windows, walkways and plants kept those paint free surfaces clean, no runs, drips or errors anywhere! Krown selected a top grade of Sherwin Williams paint (I checked on line with consumer reports and other blogs on this paint.............lots of good reports on how durable the paint is) and applied two coats. We selected contrasting paint for the window sills, garage door, outside doors and front door. All were painted expertly. Krown provided on time delivery and did not request a dime until the job was complete to my satisfaction. There were no issues at time of payment! Krown did such a fine job cleaning the soffits and facia I decided to not have them painted, Krown gave me a good discount from the original bid price. The final part of the job was the clean up...........no problem here they did such a good job masking the clean up was a snap. In closing..........if given the opportunity to award another contract to Krown I would do so without hesitation.

I had used Krown Service recently and I was so impressed with the terrific job that John had done, that I wanted him to paint the rest of my rooms. John is such a professional. he makes sure that he takes care of all the little things that makes the job complete. My walls were in need of a little work before painting. He patched, sanded, and textured the walls before painting. Every thing turned out so good. He is also very punctual. When he says he will be there at a specific time. he is there. I couldn't be happier with all the paint work John has done for us. I highly recommend him, and I have recommended him to all my family and friends.

We were beyond impressed with the customer service and skill of John. We had just closed on the house and wanted the majority of the home painted before moving in. The previous owner was a bit of a candle fanatic. There were carbon stains on the walls and ceiling and John was aware of this at the time he provided a quote. John?s plan was to spot prime the ceilings, however, due to the extensive carbon stains, he decided the best way to approach the situation was to put two coats of primer on the ceiling without an extra charge?he also did the master closet and coat closets at no extra charge. The attention to detail was amazing. During the paint job, we had quite a bit of rain and when painting the skylights, he noticed that some moisture was getting in?without hesitation, he offered to go on the roof and caulk the skylights for cost of the caulk! And, if needed, he would come back to the house to re-caulk if needed (he just called about two weeks after the job and after a lot of rain to check up and make sure that there still were no leaks). Also, when they were painting, we had a general contractor at our home and we were discussing some minor cracks in the chimney which could potentially cause leaking in the future. John again offered his services and filled the cracks and repaired the chimney for a nominal fee. We were very pleased with how everything turned out and will be hiring him again when we paint the exterior of our home.

I joined Angies List because we purchased a condo in the Madeira Beach, FL area and wanted the popcorn ceilings painted. We live in NE. I searched the ratings on Angies List and read the reviews. I contacted John and he set up an appointment for an estimate with our property manager. Our manager said John was prompt and professional. John contacted me within a few days with an estimate. He painted the popcorn ceiling, masked off walls and furniture, stain kill areas on ceilings as needed, applied two coats of Sherwin Williams Promar 400. I checked with a local NE professional painter to confirm the price was fair and he said it was. I arrived a week later and was very impressed how nice they turned out! I would recommend Krown Services.

John is a true professional and his work ethic is incredible. Very punctual from the estimate until the final job was completed. He was very accomodating as far as scheduling since my building contractor was behind in his work. The finished job looks great and I will definitely use Krown again for any painting projects in the future. It was overall a very pleasurable experience and it is difficult to find people who work as hard as John and take pride in the job they perform.

We are so pleased with this company. The owner, John, was such a pleasure to deal with. He was punctual for the estimate, his subject matter knowledge is way above average, he was polite, professional, punctual, customer oriented, flexible and on and on.I highly recommend this painting company, you will not be sorry. For what can be a stressful experience, these guys made it pleasurable. Their eye for detail, preparation, care of customer belongings is beyond compare. It took 2 men, 4 full days just to prep the house and roof, there was a lot of scraping, sanding, filling, prepping, on and on and on and on...every square inch of the house was looked at at addressed if needed. We were absolutely blown away by the detail that went into the prep. These guys went above and beyond, we felt so lucky to have found these guys and the loving care and attention they gave our home. So they prepped from Monday thru Wednesday. Thursday John got on the roof and painted the roof 2 coats that day while Phil, did the soffets and gutters. Friday came and it was time for wall paint. They even came in Saturday for a half day and did some other work, fine tuning, second coats on some stuff. Then Monday came and it was the last day to finish. The porches got a second coat, new mailbox, house numbers, outdoor deck light, dimmer swith, etc that we had bought were installed by these guys....that was above and beyond any contractor I ever met. It was all included in the price. Hello People! Do yourself a favor, hire this Guy now, it is a class act company, they are artists, they are the best. We had a final walkthrough today, there were 2 minor things that needed attention, no big deal, it was taken care of immediately. We paid the bill and John was on his way! We will be having his company back late summer, early fall to paint our kitchen first, then onto the dining room and front living room. I was out there every morning saying hello, asking what was happening today, running by stuff I thought of, all well received. I will miss seeingthese guys everyday but I am glad the outside is finished, they made me tired watching them..lol...anyway, he said he was gonna put some before and after pics on here....we went from gray to brownish clay like color with white trim. more of a northern house color but we kind of like that darker tone with a pearly white roof....Okay, to wind it down here....there were no problems, no complaints, all good. I am so looking forward to more paint projects with John and Krown Services....Thank you John so much for all your hard work. Please tell Phil we appreciated him very much too. We hired John @ Krown setting a date to pressure wash and paint the house. He started right away and finished early. Very Professional and efficient.

The entire experience was excellent. John is very customer oriented and listens to what the customer wants and provides alternatives if they exist. He arrived promptly for an estimate and thoroughly analyzed what was needed and provided an estimate. I immediately accepted his proposal and asked him when he could start. On the day of the job as always he arrived exactly when he said he would. He did a great job patching the drywall and applying paint. There is no doubt that this room has the nicest walls in my house as the work performed far exceeds the quality of the builders work. John is a tireless worker who will spend whatever time is needed to perform your job so that he can meet other schedule commitments. I had the carpet replaced the next day and John came back and touched up the baseboard to cover any marks left by the carpet installers. I would not hesitate to utilize Krown Services again and would highly recommend John. In fact I may never paint a wall myself again.

John from Krown services was always right on time from the moment he made the bid until the final coats on the decks. The job took over a week mainly becasue i kept adding things to do such as patching and deck replacement. Krown was very professional and courteous. They cleaned up after themselves and the wife and i hardly knew they were there.Krown definitley takes pride in there work and the finished product is awesome. I highly recommend this contractor.

I called John on a Friday and told him that we would like for him to do the job. He was ready to start on Monday, but I needed him to wait till Tuesday. He said he would be there at 8AM. He arrived on time and did the interior rooms first. He was able to get all the wall paper down and the rooms painted in a very timely manner. John then did the pressure cleaning and the exterior painting. He worked everyday, all day. He was very meticulous with his painting. His assistant Steve was also very meticulous. They completed the painting and did an excellent job. They also cleaned up and made sure I was satisfied with the paint work.. John also saw a few things that we hadn't talked about doing and he added them to the job he was doing without charging me. I also have to say that when he was removing the wallpaper in my laundry room he noticed water leaking from my dryer vent. Which I had checked out and found a problem that I didn't know about. I had it fixed, but if it hadn't been for John finding it, I may never have known about the problem. I would highly recommend Krown Services, and if I have any future painting jobs I will definitely call John. He is a true professional.

From the start with the proposal which was given within a day of my initial call through the job completion and final step of installing the house numbers this was an excellent experience. All items that needed work were addressed and the corrective actions explained. The professionalism, attention to the smallest detail and craftsmanship demonstrated throughout was truly exceptional. No challenge was too great and there were some challenges considering the breakdown of the textured finish in a number of areas and the fact that the houses had not been painted in over ten years. This was clearly the best experience we have had with a contractor in quite some time. When we need additional professional painting Krown Service will be at the top of a list of one.

John arrived at my house to provide a price quote on cleaning and painting the pool cage beams when he said he would. He gave me a very reasonable quote before leaving the house. Several days later I called him back and asked for a price to include the transverse supports and columns and he returned to provide another quote which was again very reasonably priced. He then scheduled to do the work, showed up when he said he would and stayed on the job until the work was done. I was so pleased with John that I added some more work, painting the pool deck, and he provided an immediate quote which was very reasonable so we agreed on it and he did the work the next day. John was very professional, polite and a good painter. Thank you John
