I received their call about 15 minutes after posting my request. Service was prompt and punctual. Joe did a survey and provided a quote that was fair and very competitive! He quickly fixed our door, provided advice on maintenance and upkeep, and show us how to prevent future damage. The door works better now than it has since we bought the property. I highly recommend this company! Will hire them again. Thank you!

My garage door spring broke and my door would not operate. Area Wide called and came out within an hour and fixed the door. The technician, Joe, gave me some tips on keeping the door in good operating condition. The service was great and very professional. I would use them again, for repair or replacement . We had a bad experience! The company was suppose to be the repair representative for the Genie brand but they didnt know what they were doing. They came out and told us the door needed adjusting and charged $100.00. In three days it was doing the same thing again. I call the company again! They returned and told me it was the mother board on the unit and that I would have to call the manufacturer ourselves. We called the manufacturer directly and the technician walked us through the problem, it was a broken wire on one of the door sensors. We repaired the wire and it has worked fine since.

I was told my garage door would be fixed for $145. I specifically stated I did not want it touched unless he guaranteed that the door would be fixed for that price. He agreed. I was called later to say it would be another $50. I agreed. They called to say it was fixed and I paid them, but when I got there to check, it was still broken. I called back to complain and was told it would cost another $400. I am fuming and plan to call the bank to dispute the charge. I will never use that company again and may never use Home Advisor again either! It was nothing but a rip off company.
