Tampa Bay Pest Management

We moved to Tampa in the spring and immediately begin to see a few bugs in our home. We found Tampa Bay Pest Management on Angie's List and called Kurt. He has been doing our quarterly spraying since May, and we are very pleased with his service and responsiveness to any problems or questions we have had. We plan to continue using this company for our pest control needs.

We were pleased with consultation. Provided accurate diagnosis and instruction and did not charge for visit.

We are currently renting so we did not have the need to go on a quarterly plan. Kurt was very professional when he came to our town home to do a one time spray service for pest control. He was on time and did the job quickly and was very friendly. He took the time to answer our questions and will definitely be using his services when we move into our new home in the next few months. We highly recommend his services to anyone in the surrounding areas he covers.

Kurt is awesome!!! He services my home my dad's home and my uncle's home quarterly. He started about 6 months ago and we haven't seen any bugs or ants inside the house or out in the lanai. He's a real professional at what he does, I highly recommend him.

Called on a Thursday afternoon and they were able to come out Friday morning. I was concerned after seeing a handful of roaches and ants in the house. They came out and thoroughly inspected the house. After inspection, they recommended the services needed to take care of the problem. He took all the time needed to explain everything. He recommended a quarterly service, to keep the place bug free. He was extremely professional and very friendly. Provided an invoice of exactly what he included in the initial service. Prices are more than fair. So happy with the initial visit, I went ahead and signed up for the quarterly service. Will definitely recommend to friends and family! Excellent!

I decided to call Kurt based on his great reviews on Angies List for residential pest control. He arrived on time, assessed the home and deciding what treatment to do based on the fact that I had been receiving regular service prior to his coming to continue the pest control maintenance. He treated the outside perimeter and garage. It has been a few weeks now I have seen no activity at all from ants, roaches etc. I usually always see ants around the pool area no matter if there has been service or not, but with Kurt's service, I have seen zero activity. Truly amazing!

Kurt Dimeler is a dying breed. He is experienced and with his experience in pest control he set up his own company. He eliminated the games and gimmicks of the big pest control companies, including the one year contract that is more often than not one annual visit. He was extremely thorough and took the time to explain exactly what he was doing. He spent time with our housekeepers to make sure he understood where problems were noticed and he trained the housekeepers on what cleaning fluids would interfere with his chemicals. Our 5000 square foot house was shared with two cats, a dog, and every ant and roach in Hillsborough County. The day after his visit - which lasted most of the morning - we found one dead roach and have not seen an ant since. We have been through the annual contracts with two national companies and one local company. Kurt Dimeler and Tampa Bay Pest Management is the real thing. He will explain the differences in the low cost, diluted chemicals used by the "annual" companies and the chemicals he uses. He is happy to go over the details of his efforts and how the chemicals work. He charged us for the quarter with the promise to return if we have any problems. It should be noted that we were charged a bit more because of the extensive landscaping that made the outside treatment more difficult for him. I recommend Tampa Bay Pest Management without reservation and have sice contacted Kurt to take over my office building.

Of course I have known Kurt for a number of years and he has been my pest management person all along! So it goes without saying I have a high level of trust in this individual not to say I just plain like him! He is a personable, likeable and genuine. He has a high level of professionalism and explains every littledetail to me. I wholeheartedly recommend Kurt and I am forever grateful that he responded so quickly to my cat's needs....and my cat is surviving this brush with fleas too! I never saw them in the house, but have seen what could be dead fleas on the window sills the first time I vacuumed after treatment! So all of you who have in and out door cats/dogs, it would be helpful to have your house sprayed! :)

Kurt is great! He showed up on time and when he said he would. He sprayed the inside of our home and the outside perimeter as well. He set rat traps outside in (2) areas and secured any areas where he felt possible pests were entering into our attic. Our home was a foreclosure so it sat vacant for over a year. We believe that whomever lived in the house previously never ever bothered spraying and therefore for many years bugs and vermin had been taking over the property. And living in Florida we had everything! Roaches, spiders, snakes, stink bugs, ants, mosquitos, blow flies, rats, even a family of raccoons living in our attic! We felt like we had moved into Wild Kingdom. It took a good second spraying inside and out to finally do the trick and get rid of the roaches but when I called Kurt he came right back out again and re sprayed for FREE. Kurt was great helping me find other service providers that he worked closely with to help us with other issues within our home and everyone he referred to us have all worked out great. Whenever he is here he is always pleasant and respectful and very professional. I would highly recommend him and I continue to use Kurt as our family's pest control service provider.

Kurt returned my call promptly. Once I gave him a description of my bugs, he made an educated guess (which was correct), about the Acrobat Ants. I was going to have him come by and treat while my roommate was in, but he said he really wanted to have a face to face and get to know who he would be working with. I gave him the tour of my home and he found one ant and was able to identify it and after the tour of the back yard, found exactly where they were coming from. There was a trail out to a tree. He treated the inside of the house with something safe for my animals (I have an 18yr old dog): treated the outside with something else that was safe for my animals. Made some recommendations for future termite treatment. Said, " give it a week to 10 days" you should not see the ants after that. True enough, we saw a tiny trail of stragglers in the garage about 4-5 days after treatment, but nothing since. He has a few clients in my neighborhood and said he could put me on a schedule with them. He will call and I can let him know if he should treat. There are several payment options, leave a check( we use the same bank) or pay pall, or credit/debit card. The entire process was painless and best of all...no ants so far.

Not only did he take care of my problem but he was very personable while he was there and with every interaction. I whould refer him highly and use him again in the future if needed.

Service was provided by the owner. He was very responsive and proactive in any and all matters. Very personable and professional as well. It is a little bit difficult to evaluate the quality of the work (products used) as we did not have real pest issues before the treatment so it is mostly preventive pest control. We did find a number of dead roaches the first 10 days after the treatment but will still find the occasional live roach from time to time now a few weeks later. I felt very comfortable inviting this provider into my home to perform the treatment and would definitely recommend to others.

Bottom Line: Kurt was exceptionally knowledgeable in his trade and very professional, and we will certainly use Tampa Bay Pest Management again! Details: As a military family new to the area, I contacted about a-half dozen pest companies mentioned by our realtor, or on Angie's List to find one that was a good fit for us. In general, I'm always cautious of companies that try to convince you that signing up for "annual contract/plan" before they've even seen our home is "our best option." Kurt on the other hand was willing to come out for a single treatment, no strings attached, at a reasonable price so we could meet him, and really see what we will be paying for. As noted above, besides being exceptionally knowledgeable, professional and polite, he was very clear on what products he was using on our home (and why), and walked us through what follow-on treatments include. It didn't take long for Kurt to demonstrate he really knows his trade, and was willing to answer questions as he worked. Finally, he called about week after the service to make sure we didn't have any issues. I HIGHLY recommend Kurt! He is just what we were looking for....

Kurt went above and beyond when I explained that I was not in Tampa and needed this matter taken care of ASAP. He made time to come the next day, showed up right on time and communicated every step of the way with me, even texting photos. I look forward to an ongoing pest management arrangement with him.
