Leaving a review on behalf of Mr hall who hired them who is an elderly Man, who does not keep up with technology. He was not happy with the work or the price for the work. In Mr Halls words" Common sense isn't common anymore"

"We did no work for "Mr Hall." This fake review was written by a former disgruntled employee who worked for us for about 6 months in 2017 and quit without notice. He just can't seem to let go of whatever chip he has on his shoulder."

I ended up having five estimates to pick from and chose The Painting Craftsmen because Justin impressed me with his demeanor - open, honest, and helpful in explaining the pros and cons of different paints so that I was able to pick the best product to fit my budget. The price quote he gave me was very reasonable. The Owner, Chris came out on the first day and made sure that everything was going according to schedule. Jon was a pleasure to work with, he worked fast and was very neat. I have to give credit to Zach the Project Coordinator, he always made sure that everything went smoothly and was the main point of contact whenever I had a question. The whole team was fantastic. Lastly, The Painting Craftsmen showed the utmost respect for me, my family and our home. The next time we need some painting done, I will call The Painting Craftsmen and look no further! I would recommend them to everyone for any size project. Competent, clean, courteous service, Thanks again!

Excellent. From quick estimator site visit to scheduling work around my schedule. Chris & Ryan called because they could come earlier in day if that worked for me and that was great. Professional, polite, informed and had all necessary materials, cleanup was great. Very good experience and I would absolutely hire again. Am recommending now to Interior Decorating / Staging associate.

These folks were GREAT to work with- from Chris coming out and doing the estimate and the inspection; Shawn handling the scheduling and billing and Jeremy doing an awesome job painting. They were timely, neat and professional. It was so nice to deal with a company who stands by what they commit to!

They did a good job painting – BUT I did NOT like:. 1. A craftsman not telling me he stopped up a drain in my sink, and overflowed the sink 2. A craftsman telling me he took care of the problem, when he had not 3. A craftsman supervisor telling me that if a plumber finds a big clog of white paint in the line, then he would take care of the cost of unclogging the drain. They arrived early, covered all kinds of furniture, taped a lot of stuff and painted a new ceiling all white. Their estimate was a couple of hundred dollars low, but they felt, as I did, that another coat of paint was needed. They finished painting in one day, as they had estimated. They said they’d come back the next day and clean up. So far, so good, from my perspective. 1. Before they arrived the next morning, I went into the bathroom, off the room of the ceiling they had painted. The sink was full of white water, which had clearly overflowed. I tried the drain and it was clogged. Had a craftsman told me before he left that that had happened, I could have called a plumber that night, or these craftsmen could have said they would fix it the next day. 2. When they arrived for work the next morning, I showed one of the craftsmen the sink and he told me he would take care of it. After two hours of cleanup the craftsman presented me with the bill for painting the ceiling, telling me he had taken care of the sink. When I turned on the water, the sink did not drain. He said he had just scooped the water out with a cup. After unsuccessfully trying for about 15 minutes, he said he would have his supervisor call me. 4. The craftsman supervisor came by the next day and tried for a couple of hours to get the line unclogged. He could not. He then said I could call my plumber or he would call his, and IF (and he emphasized IF) the plumber found a gob of white paint blocking the line, his company would take care of it. I told him I would call my plumber and the craftsman supervisor left. My plumber unclogged the drain and fixed the drain plug that one of the craftsmen had broken in less than 5 minutes. Alas, the plumber could not see into the pipe to see if the clog that he had unclogged was a gob of white paint. Therefore, I have no way to prove the clog was in any way caused by the craftsmen, so I paid the plumber. A couple of weeks later, after providing the above feedback to the craftsmen, I got a call from the craftsman supervisor, saying he had kind of forgotten to follow up - in another week, I did, indeed, get a check for the plumber’s cost. We'll use the plumber again, when needed. These craftsmen? Won’t use them again, … and we have lots of painting needs. If you use them, I sincerely hope you have a better experience.

"We didn't think we could have possibly clogged your sink simply by one of our techs washing paint off his hands in it. Nevertheless, when you indicated that you were surprised by the issue, we tried to see if something had fallen down in the trap of the drain inadvertently to cause a clog. We took the trap apart and there was nothing in there, indicating it was some other issue in the drain system, so at this point we were confident that the issue with the drain had nothing to do with us, despite the unfortunate timing of the issue coinciding with our tech trying to wash his hands in it. Regardless, when you finally expressed to us via comment card that you did in fact think the sink issue was our fault, we reimbursed you for the cost of the plumber, despite the fact that we don't believe the issue had anything to do with us. We aren't sure what else we could have done to please this customer in this situation, but we wish him the best."

Chris is the manager and his assistant was Mikey, were the 2 painters I was BLESSED to have perform the job. They were friendly, professional and EXCELLENT painters.
I had to resked several times for personal reasons and the company was very accommodating. Rebecca is the young lady in the office and phones. She was so kind and helpful in all of our dealings on the phone. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND using them

The Painting Craftsmen painted and restored damaged wood in my old house in Riverside and did a fantastic job. I used them again to paint my living room and bedroom in my new home in Mandarin. They were great in every way. I was also quite surprised that Chris Arnett was able to install and paint beautiful wood trim that matched perfectly with the existing crown molding. The team is both fast and dependable. I have already scheduled them to paint one more room in my house.
Rebecca who handles the billing and scheduling is probably the nicest person in Jacksonville.
I'm so glad I found them and have recommended them to multiple friends.

Chris Arnett came out quickly and provided me a fair estimate on the same day. Louis, Bryant and the team leader George Gardner were punctual, thorough and professional. The house looks better than when I moved in. I plan on moving to Mandarin this month and plan on hiring them for all needed work in the new house as well. Couldn't be any more pleased with a company than I am with the Painting Craftsmen.

They did a beautiful job. They arrived on time, worked all day--I finally asked if they were going to take a lunch break. They worked thru their lunch. They even caulked the baseboards.
Scott and Luis did a fantastic job and I will certainly use them again. It looks professional--not as if someone just slapped a coat of paint.

We are always striving to remain competitive however our prices tend to be on the higher end due to the time spent on each job, the quality that goes into every paint job as well as the fact that unlike other painting companies, we are fully insured, we do not use subcontractors, and all of our employees are covered by workers compensation. This may add additional expense to our services, however we know our customers are more comfortable knowing their home is protected and that the quality of the work they will receive is second to none."
