Ron and his crew have been fantastic throughout the process. Ron is punctual, reliable, professional, and kind. The house is beautiful and extremely well built. People told us that building a house would be a nightmare, but it wasnt. Ron helped the process to be pleasant. He also works so hard - sometimes putting in six and seven days a week to get the job done. We are very pleased.

We have had numerous occasions to use contractors in the past and Ron stands out as a contractor that was faultless in his application to the job and charging a very fair price. He also had our complete trust, which is something I have not been able to report before.

We purchased an historic home that had some damaged wood in its pier-and-beam foundation. Ron came over and inspected the damage. He was very knowledgeable regarding how to fix the problems. The estimate was competitive. We know people who have used Home Remedies for much larger projects, and were very pleased. So, we selected them. Ron's team was on time, careful not to damage the home while raising parts of it, and finished as scheduled. We are very satisfied with the quality of the work. They also finished the job for less money than estimated. We definitely would use Home Remedies again!

Ron Thigpen and his crew are the best. Professional, polite, and attentive to detail. Ron and his excellent carpenter, Marty, gave us a detailed estimate, worked with me on how we might salvage existing materials, located a local mill to cut new trim to match and came up with better ideas than my own. In this renovation, he had to work with a closet installer that I separately contracted with and everything went very smoothly. They also had to find a way to protect the bedrooms from the dust and renovation mess - and they did! Home Remedies is always very careful with my home and once they removed the plastic and quot;wallsand quot; around my closets, I had no other cleanup to do. Ron does his best to stay on schedule and get the work done quickly. With some specialty needs, our project went slightly slower than normal but not overly long and well worth the wait. The finished work is wonderful and I only had to purchase one new doorknob. What I appreciate most about Ron is that he gives you as detailed a proposal as he can (or the job warrants), is flexible if you find other sources for items, looks out for things in your plans/ideas that you might not have anticipated and will let you know if he thinks something is not going to work before he does it and charges you for it.

He did a major renovation of our two-story garage building several years ago that was frought with the unknown (as old homes are!) and it turned out beautiful, on time under the circumstances, and substantially within budget.

We had another renovation done to a ante room to our kitchen that we were induced to use our designer's contractor for and we were very sorry in the end that we did not insist on using Home Remedies. Never again - as long as the work is within his bailiwick and he is available, we will use them from now on.

He was our first choice when we needed this work done (even though a smaller job) and I would not hesitate to use him again.
