Do not pay them before the work is done. I paid James in full for a job and he never returned or even called. I still sit with my tub/ shower uncompleted, this is almost 2 weeks since I paid him in full for the job. Being a small business owner myself, I never did this to my customers. Maybe we are more honest and responsible in Wisconsin than the likes of him in Florida. Please stay away and avoid frustration! UPDATE 09/18/2020: We were in contact with James and everything was worked out to both of our satisfactions, He was sick and there was a lack of communication, but considering his circumstances with his illness I understand.

James and Doug were on time as scheduled. All work was preformed per the quotation. Both were professional, curtious, and completed the job on time. My wife and I are very pleased with the results and would not hesitate to use them again.

I found James very professional. He replaced several cracked tiles and epoxy'd the grout. Was a beautiful job, much appreciated. Will be returning to epoxy the grout on the pool. Well worth the time and effort.

James and his associate are the absolutely, unqualified best tile company I have ever had the pleasure to work with. They came in and made my bathtub and shower that was installed so badly and supposedly repaired by another tile company look almost like it hadn't been messed up in the first place. In addition, they repaired my tile floor that was badly messed up by the same horrible company and threw in fixing another issue on the floor in a different room which we initially hadn't even discussed. And James is such a gentleman! I am disabled and can't climb stairs and James took the time to help me up those stairs to look at the bathroom. I can't recommend them more highly. Hire them, you won't be sorry.

Onb time and flawless work

Excellent workmanship by James and Doug. They did a beautiful job on my mother's shower tiles. They also had great personalities, it was a pleasure to meet them.

OUTSTANDING

Doug came to poxy seal and repair cracking grout. When he finished, the floors popped. He also returned with James to do our backsplash. When we purchased our home we only installed backsplash on the appliance side of the kitchen but I later wanted backsplash on the opposite wall as well. Unfortunately the mosaic tile had discontinued. Just from pictures, James matched the existing mosaic tile. Then I wanted the tile running vertically, James and Doug were very professional, they let me see the comparison before installation and it turned out beautifully.

They were pleasant to be around, did a great job, and took great care to keep the site and the rest of the house clean. They went out of their way to get tile compatible with the older tile that was already there. The job was priced right for us. Definitely consider hiring them.

James and his assistant are true professionals that handled my project like it was their own. They removed old grout from a pool spa wall and installed new grout. The finished product looks great! They were more than helpful with other questions and concerns. They take pride in their work. If you want a tile or grout job done right, you can't go wrong with Advanced Grout and Tile.

We first hired James for a small job repairing damaged tile and grout that a window contractor had made. Even though the job required him to find tile to match a 25 year old house, he came through! And even though the job turned out to be more time consuming than he estimated, he came and told us, showed us what the problems were, and added a more than reasonable amount to his initial quote - I believe we added a little to it when we paid. James came back a few months later for a shower stall refresh and did a great job, adding in some grout in other areas that weren't correctly installed in the first place. Definitely call him if you need tile or grout repair!
