The Tech Shop

My computer would not boot up. I took it to the shop. He checked it and called me back about 30 minutes later. He was able to boot it up and I did not lose any of my files. He checked it completely to make sure it didn't happen again. He recommended I get a new surge protector. It may have been a power surge that caused the problem.
Jason is quick, knowledgeable, efficient, professional and so very nice. His prices are very fair. This is the second time I use him for my PC problems. I will continue using him and I recommend him highly!

I called on Friday (09/03/14) around 5:00 PM when I got home and discovered my computer knocked on its side. It could only see a black screen. Jason said to bring it over asap because he had to leave in about 30 minutes. He said he would check it first thing in the morning and call me to tell me what he found. He called around 10:00 a.m. the next morning to inform that the RAM had come unseated when the (evil) cats knocked my computer on its side. The cost would be $30. I asked him to check the computer for viruses, etc,, so he did a tune-up. He said it would take about two hours. Sure enough, around 12 noon, I received a call that my computer was ready.
It is running fine and I am so happy with the service. Jason was very nice and very professional and obviously knows what he is doing. I could recommend his services and I will definitely use his services again. Hopefully I won't have to, though. ;)

I needed some repair and parts for my lap top. Efficient, knowledgeable work was done and I did not have to wait. There was one customer before me and then I was provided service immediately.
Since I teach school and work in nursing too, I need my lap top to run efficiently. The Tech Shop was more than fair with the price and the owner serviced the computer explaining that what I needed was relatively simple, as reflected in the more than fair price.

It was a Thursday night and thepresentation I was working on, due the next day, locked up. I restarted
my computer and it would not come on. I panicked. I called my partner and she told me about this place that fixed one of her computers. It was later in the evening, after 7, but I called the number she gave me and a real person answered!
Jason was great; very professional and upbeat gentleman. He told me to come on down and he would take a look for free,
and it was after 8pm! He took the time to listen to my problems and was not only able to bring my laptop back to life but he cleaned the virus I didn't even know I had!
I did have to leave my computer overnight, but it was worth it. Jason called me the next morning and told me the good news. When I went to pick it up at his quaint shop (right on Federal HWY just North of downtown Hollywood), there were few costumers there, but was impressed how each customer was being attended to with care. After the problems I have had with the big superstores in the past, it was very nice to be treated like my crisis was just that!
The presentation I was working on was safe and on time! I will absolutely be recommending The Tech Shop to anyone requiring fast, friendly and affordable computer repairs. Oh, and the tips his staff gave me solved the networking problems I was having at my office!
I will be going back there next time I need anything to do with my technical world.
