The new vertical blinds header was quite a challenge but Diane faced it calmly, and with much persistence and patience on her part, she was able to install it.  That installation took most of her time but she was also able to fix the toilet tissue holder which was coming away from the bathroom wall.  That job only took five minutes.  But throughout it all, she was cheerful, pleasant and careful, which I really appreciated.  She put down a drop-cloth so that plaster did not fall into the carpet.  She had a great attitude all during the job.  And when she discovered she did not have her receipt booklet with her, she promptly mailed the payment receipt to me as she promised that she would.

They were really, really prompt. As soon as I called and scheduled my appointment, they were able to come out immediately. They were on time. They were very professional and courteous. The price was really good for the work that they did. If I needed more repairs done, I would definitely give them a call.

She is wonderful. She has done several things and is very detail oriented, thorough, and neat.

Everything went well.  She was very responsive in calling me back and setting up appointments.  She was right on time and she actually came a couple of minutes early. There was no problem and she took care of it. That's the only job she has done for me but I know she has a lot of experience with appliances.  I would recommend her for plumbing and appliance kind of stuff, not that she cannot handle other stuff.

Diane Sheppard did a long day’s work for me in my new condo.  She helped me figure out my breaker box which wasn’t labeled, then hung 10 different items on my walls (large pictures, clothes hooks, a hook near the dryer for hanging up fresh-dryed clothes, bulletin boards, a plant hanger on the ceiling of my porch, etc.).  Every wall, every surface posed a different challenge and she had the tools, supplies and know-how to tackle them all.  Great job!   She replaced the disintegrating plastic cover of my porch electric outlet, and helped me plan for what to do with my vacuum, broom, dust pan, etc. having no broom closet.  I’ll be asking her back another day to anchor my tall bookcases into the wall for safety before my little grandkids’ first visit and tackle other items on my “settle in” list.  Diane is attentive, efficient but careful, prepared, and cheerful to work with.  Shep’s Home Repairs is a peach of a service!

Diana is very professional.  Assessed the job and decided the best way to handle it would be to take it back to her house, complete the work and bring it back. Her price was very reasonable too. She put a lot of time into making sure the screen slid easily on the track. She is a very nice and honest person and I would definitely use her again. She installs ceiling fans, does washer/dryer repair, and minor electrical and plumbing.

Shep's Home Repairs owner is a female. She is a one person company. She is coming again next week to wash down the outside of the house. She is a nice person. She has done things for me that I like and we are good friends now. She is an easy person to get along with and she tries her best to do the best she can. She does what I ask her to do. She is reliable. Her price is reasonable. I would use her service in the future too.

The entire experience went very well.  The repair lady was very experienced in her field and was knowledgeable about the appliances.   She was very thorough and had all the tools and parts to do the job.

Very responsive.  Punctual.  Knew limitations.  Spent approximately 6.5 hours over two visits.  Would not hesitate to work with again.  Cost was labor plus supplies...

The lady's name is Diane and she is very good. She charged me $35 an hour. She used to work for Sears for 22 years installing fridges and stoves. She cleaned up my fridge underneath the coil and also the coils in the air conditioner. She definitely knows her job. She's professional. Her price is average. Her responsiveness is very good. She does a lot of maintenance work for some wealthy person in Lauderdale every week. I would use her services in the future too.

After replaceing the heating element in the dryer ourselves it still didn't heat. Diane knew just what to look for and replace, and also gave us great tips on yearly maintainence and saving money on our electric bill. No doubt in my mind, I would call her again!
