Dmitriy earned my confidence during our first meeting. We discussed kitchen remodeling ideas, he evaluated the work and provided me with a reasonable written estimate. He was straight forward -- and completed the job in a reasonable time for a reasonable price. The workmanship was first rate. I'm delighted with the new kitchen!

Arrived on time on rainy day. Setup machine and equipment on patio. Move furniture to provide working areas. Were able to work around my husband who could not get out of bed. Proceeded to measure, cut. and install moulding. Cleaned moulding. Painted moulding. Helped to vacuum and clean-up afterwards

Dmitriy Dain at New Living Contsruction performed a complete renovation of my parents' kitchen. My parents and I could not be more thrilled with the results! I have dealt with numerous contractors in the past as I have remodeled three bathrooms and a kitchen as well as built an addition in my home. I have never had a construction project go as smoothly as it did with New Living Construction nor I have I ever been more pleased with the results. Dmitriy is a true professional with excellent customer service skills. He always responded promptly to all of my calls and emails. He always came to the worksite on time and ready to work. He took special care with all of his interactions with my elderly parents. He is a perfectionist and the quality of his work is exceptional. We definitely plan on hiring him again in the future when we are ready to renovate the master bathroom in my parents' home.

During our contractor search, we found Dmitiry to be very responsive and extremely knowledgeable. His pricing was competitive, and we feel that he would have done quality work. In the end, however, we chose the contractor who had the particular cabinets that we were looking for to complete our kitchen.

Being new to the area, I had contacted a few contractors for estimates but was disappointed after some failed to show for their appointments or didn?t return my calls. After reading the positive reviews of New Living Construction, I called to inquire about an estimate to upgrade the kitchen and two baths in my newly purchased condo. I spoke with Dmitry and he was professional in manner and asked what type of remodel I had in mind. Since I didn?t really have a concrete idea of what my options were, he suggested he come out to view the unit and discuss my options at the appointment. Much to my delight, he was punctual and looked professional. We discussed my options and budget and he offered some wonderful suggestions for staying within my budget without compromising aesthetics or quality. Overall the experience was excellent. During the renovation process, I often emailed Dmitriy with questions regarding materials or requesting updates on the progress of the remodel and I always received a reply in a timely manner. His meticulous attention to small details and quality workmanship really shows in the finished product. I am pleased to say that I was able to stay within budget AND in good standing with my new neighbors. Dmitriy and his very friendly crew took care to abide by the rules of the condominium and to work in a clean manner both inside and out of the unit, care that I appreciated tremendously. I found Dmitriy works with integrity and is honest with his clients and maintains a high degree of professionalism. I could not be more pleased with how my remodel turned out as well as my experience with New Living Construction.

Poorly

We were very pleased with Dmitriy's work. He was always punctual, and willing to make any adjustments we wanted . The people in our building appreciated the care he took to observe the rules of the building and his friendliness. He is a professional and insists on doing things the proper way. He was very patient in giving us ample time to choose things like paint colors, for example. We were away from the Miami area during the middle of this project. The only suggestion I would make would be that if you are not here locally and have to make any decisions on materials it would be best to wait to choose the materials here. I often found that we would need to decide on a type of molding or style of door and what I would find in another state would not necessarily be available here in Miami so that was a bit frustrating. Whereas when we were here, Dmitriy even met us at a supply company to help choose styles. I would certainly use Dmitriy again.

Dmitriy Dain of New Living Construction provided the most professional and rewarding of services that I have ever experienced with a contractor. The result was perfection. Returning to the apartment you would not have known that it was a recent construction site. Such care was taken that the usual dust mess from a replastering job was not in evidence at all. For those of you who live in a condo, the worst fear is how your neighbor will react to the work being done. In my case, absolutely now "noise" from the neighbors.I highly recommend New Living Construction for anyone considering a remodel job big or small. Regardless of the size of your budget, Dmitriy will treat you as his most important client.

I wanted to take as opportunity to express my sincere thanks to your company for the amazing Venetian Plaster work that was recently done in my condo. I am beyond pleased on many levels with crafsmanship and quality of the finish. Every step of the way, the process became more inviting, ending with beautiful Old world Italian look in our living room and kitchen. Every visitor has commented on the beautiful Marmorino finish in the bathrooms. They ask in wonder, "how did you achieve that look?"

I hired New Living Construction to do the renovation of our new condo. Dimitriy (Owner) is a true professional; he’s on time and a perfectionist. The work he did was excellent; I would recommend him to my friends and will use his services again.

Overall we had a very good experience with the work performed and the final quality. It took a little bit longer than expected, however I think it's due to meticulous attention to details and maintaining high quality level. While remodeling was in the process, we had to select some materials and accessories. Being absentee owners located thousands of miles away, Dmitriy made the task easy for us by providing information on where to look for construction materials, appliances, etc. I have to admit that in many cases we could just rely on Dmitriy's experience and taste: the solution he proposed and the way things look at the end of reconstruction are just perfect. I have to address an issue of costs. The final cost of this remodeling came up higher than we planned initially, however it was totally due to us deciding to do additional work. More importantly, in the case of a broken water heater, Dmitriy actually saved us money by digging into the problem and solving it instead of just charging us more for the work that wasn't needed. Overall it was a very good experience and we are actually looking to hire Dmitriy for remodeling of another apartment that we are planning to buy.

Like any new construction project there are discoveries. The first was no wood backing for the wall cabinets. Jamie and Dimitri offered a very reasonable quote to install the backing. The other challenge for every kitchen is dealing with walls that are not square. I think they did a terrific job hiding the imperfections with the drywall. The rest of the cabinet installation went pretty good but I am sure it was a challenge due to the large number of corners and odd angles. The fit and finish of every cut was perfect and they went out of their way to make even the smallest details work. At first I was going to install the appliances myself and I am glad I didn't. I do recommend having the cabinet guys do it since they own any mistakes made to the opening sizes or other details. Fortunately no such problems. Frankly I got lucky since I only had the one recommendation from the designer. However, I would strongly recommend them for any kitchen or bath project. We couldn't be happier.

I found the overall experience excellent. Doing the job remotely from my home in Michigan was risky as I could not be there to monitor progress, quality, or collaborate on potential changes. NLC did a great job, top quality, always collaborative when suggestions or modification would have turned out a better end result. The pricing was on target as was the time frame and there were no hassles with the condo building management or association. I was so pleased in fact, that I brought NLC back in the summer of 2010 to complete the rest of the condo. They are professional, trustworthy, have the highest quality standards, and overall a standout amongst vendors in the area. I highly recommend them.

Both Dimitry and Jamie do very good work. They are conscientious and will always recommend the proper steps to do the job. They are not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.

From start to on-time finish , they were professional, and courteous. In addition to providing quality craftsmanship, they were neat and clean beyond our expectations. They were personable, trustworthy and reliable, and made the entire renovation easy for us. When we renovate our bathrooms, we will definitely use New Living Construction.
