This was my second project with Dmitriy Dain and New Living Construction. After being so pleased with the wonderful job Dmitriy and his crew did on my guest bathroom, I felt quite confident that they would meet all my expectations for my master bath. And, of course, they did. One of the things I like about Dmitriy is that, unlike some contractors, he never pushes his opinion on you, but will offer excellent advice and suggestions when asked. I wanted a frameless glass shower door, but was having trouble finding a rolling door that I could afford. Dmitriy suggested that I allow his company to fabricate a hinged frameless door, and it turned out to be more affordable and much more beautiful than anything that I could have found at a home store. I had learned from my first project with New Living Construction to trust Dmitriy's judgement; he has an eye for design and I value his opinion. It is rare these days to find a contractor who is honest, reliable, and insists upon professional perfectionism. I can offer a perfect example of the professional integrity of Dmitriy Dain. When the master bath was completed, I mentioned in passing that one corner of the shower floor stayed damp for a while after showering. I laughed it off and said that in a bathroom that beautiful I could live with it. Dmitriy replied, "This is a brand new bathroom: you shouldn't have to live with anything." And he promptly had his tile guy tear up that corner of the shower, build it up higher, and re-tile it. This is a company that is proud of it's work, and insists that everything be done perfectly. I love my gorgeous master bath even more than the lovely guest bathroom that this company built for me. Each project with New Living Construction gets better and better.

I have waited over nine months to write this review, because, quite frankly, I had additional projects that I wanted to hire this company for, and I decided that I would wait until all the projects were done before I wrote glowing reviews. I did not want to have to share New Living Construction with a lot of new business. Yes, this company is THAT good. After watching my daughter go through a year of problems with her contractor, I was worried about finding a good, honest contractor to remodel my two bathrooms and kitchen. I decided to hire someone to remodel one bathroom, fully expecting to have to find someone else for my other projects. Dmitriy Dain's company, New living Construction, was one of several who submitted proposals. His was not the cheapest nor the most expensive quote, which was a good sign, and his company's background and credentials checked out as solid. What really sold me was the testimony of all his customers on Angie's List. If he was half as good as what his customers said, then this was my guy. The bathroom remodel took exactly three weeks, as promised, and I was very impressed with the entire crew and their quick, efficient, and professional work. Since this was my first remodeling experience, I had a lot of questions, worries, and concerns. Now here is what really impressed the **** out of me: Dmitriy patiently and promptly replied to every email, text message, and phone call, usually within minutes, often within seconds, even on weekends. Who does that? I have heard many people complain about having to chase their contractor around to get answers to their questions and get problems handled. Not with this company. Dmitriy was pleasant, patient, and always accessible, and that was very reassuring to me. The bathroom came out beautifully, even better than I expected, and I get compliments on it every time I have guests. Dmitriy even did some custom woodwork for me. I wanted a small cabinet, showed him a picture, and asked if he could built something similar. He made an elegant, precision-built cabinet that was exactly like the one I had shown him, and even made a custom wood frame for the mirror to match. I have absolutely no complaints about New Living Construction. I feel as if I have been lucky enough to stumble upon an honest, reliable, trustworthy contractor, and those are very hard to find these days. Dmitriy and his company, New Living Construction, are actually probably too good, since I was so pleased that I eventually ended up hiring them to remodel not just this bathroom, but, room by room, my entire house. I am extremely happy with all the projects that Dmitriy and New Living Construction have done for me, and I would not consider hiring any other contractor.

We are very happy with the result and Dmitriy was a pleasure to work with. We plan on using him for some future work. He gave good suggestions and co-ordinated everything and the other subcontractors

Dimitry and his team did a great job. I love how it turned out. They raised the ceiling, put in a pocket sliding door, new tub, fixtures, vanity, paint - all new. Tile came out better then expected. We love it and get tons of compliments on it. I would hire them again.

I couldn't have asked for better! Dimitry did an excellent job retrofitting my wall unit to fit a new flat screen TV, I absolutely love the work done. I was a little reluctant to hire someone that wasn't recommended personally, but after chatting with Dimitry over phone and email, I felt confident he's reliable and works to high standards. Then I saw all the rave reviews on Angie's List and my mind was made up. Right from the start dealing with Dimitry was a breeze. He's really pleasant to have around, his work was neat & timely and he and his carpentry crew are perfectionist. This was a small and tedious job, the kind that not many people want to tackle. He had to match paint color, wood grain, patch someones work etc. His attitude was positive, his punctuality and his communication incredible and not typical of professionals in this field. The result: A satisfied customer willing to recommend him. Thanks for everything Dimitry! I will surely add you to my Rolodex and recommend you to my friends.

The contractor wanted to build a house in my condo without really care about what we want to have done and he was in a rush...we gladly let him go in a rush too.. This review is about his personality not his job. My husband and I did not like him

Extremely well designed and built. Dmitriy knows his craft and has real artists in his shop that care about the quality of their work. This is the third time we have used him this year and are very happy with his response and quick completion. I would not use anyone else for home projects.

We are very pleased with the quality of the work done by New Living Construction. Everyone who sees our bathroom is absolutely amazed at how beautiful it is. Dimitriy, the owner, was very good to work with. He was very professional, and responsive. He was able to guide us in the design and also in the purchase of all that was needed, such as tiles, toilet, shower fixtures, and faucets. One of the most labor-intensive parts of the process was the tile installation. Leo, one of the members of Dimitriy's team, did the work. He was absolutely amazing. He was very thoughtful and careful in the work that he did. The outcome can almost be considered a work of art. The plumber, Sergey, was also very impressive. He replaced our existing mediocre PVC pipes with copper pipes. His work was also quite impressive. And last but not least, I would like to mention the custom wooden cabinetry. I gave Dimitriy a picture of what I liked and his team went off and built it. What they built is beautiful! But beauty is not all. They put in high quality hardware with self-closing mechanisms in all the drawers. While a job of this size entails quit a bit of dust, Dimitriy's team did a good job of containing the mess and protecting the rest of the house. The process did take longer than we expected, and patience was needed on our part. But the result was definitely worth the wait! All in all, we are extremely pleased and will be sure to turn to New Living Construction for future work. We will also highly recommend them to our family and friends.

After a flood caused massive hardwood damage through the middle of my kitchen and familyroom, I found New Living Construction on Angie's List. Unlike other companies I called, Dimitry called back promptly. We set an appointment for an estimate. He and Marcus showed up on time and were extremely professional. They sent me an estimate. I waited several months before I decided to have the work done so that the remaining flooring would have the opportunity to fully dry and shrink back to normal size. When I finally called to get the work done, they honored their original proposal. It seemed impossible that they would be able to pull up a large - and very noticeable - section of hardwood flooring and make it look seamlessly new. They replaced wood and refinished the rooms and halls.They are magic and real craftsman. They arrived on time, worked extremely quickly and amazingly cleanly on a several day job. Everyone was extremely professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable having them in my home. I highly recommend this company and look forward to hiring them again in the near future on another project.

We are new home owners. We have contacted New Living Construction, Inc after a very prolonged and painful renovation. Dmitriy and his team has basically had to step in to save our kitchen project after it was left unfinished and in a state of total disarray by previous "contractor". We have reviewed several estimates from different contractors. However, no one was able to approach our project with the same level of professionalism and price sensitivity. After having to deal with constant delays and compromises, we were amazed at how efficient and knowledgeable Dmitriy and his team members are. From the moment they stepped in our house we could see that we were in good hands. We were explained about every detail of the project after Dmitriy listened to all of our concerns and questions. The measurement taking, timeliness, and quality of the work are above and beyond all of our expectations. They used quality materials and built to last. In addition, Dmitriy and his team members were immediately available to address any of our concerns. Our kitchen looks and functions great. We wish we could have dealt with New Living right from the start. We could have saved a lot of money and time. Definitely, recommend to anybody who wants their project to be done right from the start. We have recommended it to few of our friends already

I first contacted Dmitry to remodel the bathrooms in the main house of our 2 unit rental in Hollywood Lakes Area. He was great with response, ideas and estimate for that project. We discussed budget, plans etc, however, we decided to wait on the bathrooms (they were completely functional and clean for a rental). We turned our focus to the back unit. The cottage in the back was a previous garage conversion to a Studio w 1bath. It was SO POORLY finished i was shocked that they were ever able to find a tenant. The kitchen was horrible with a couple wall cabinets, a free standing stove, and, get this, a utility sink. The bathroom was worse off. it was elevated and had the strangest narrow configuration, i don't know how anyone could have functioned in there. Dmitry went out to the property, we talked plans and budget, then he got me an estimate. We signed the agreement and the ball was rolling right away. He and his crew Demoed the entire unit bare to the bones. Leveled out the floors, repaired some unexpected termite damage and then the electrician and plumber were right to work. We came up with a layout, which we had to change and tweek along the way, but before we knew it, the Drywall was up and the floors were being tiled. We had some hiccups and unexpected expenses, as any remodel does, but this is an OLD HOUSE and i added some things along the way like an extra window, a fence, moving the AC and hot water tanks etc. Throughout the entire process Dmitry was SO PATIENT with all my requests and returned every phone call promptly. Mind You, I am all the way in Pittsburgh, PA, but he was ON IT! I felt so confident that everything was being taken care of. I flew down a few times to visit my sister in the area and to check things out and pick finishings. They were right on track! He FINISHED by his proposed date and stayed close to original budget! He has a great, respectful and hardworking crew, every person i worked with along the way was professional and honest! WOverall we are SO VERY PLEASED with the Final Result. It is such a Functional Open Space which now includes a Full Kitchen w an Island, Full Size Bath w Pebble Stone & Subway tile Shower, Beautiful Ceramic "Wood Grain" tile throughout, A Full Queen Sized bedroom with a Custom Closet to maximize storage, Open Living and Dining Areas and a Private entrance to the Property. Its Fresh, its New, its Beautiful! We are so Blessed to have Found Dmitry and New Living Construction! We will definately be working with them in the Future! Thank You Dmitry!!! New Living Construction hit the ball out of the park when they renovated my bathroom four months ago so I decided to hire Dmitriy and his team to renovate my kitchen. It was a tough job because it is the typical small condo U-shaped kitchen, the soffits were not level, and the walls were not straight. The rest of the condo is a tight space with an internal stairway. Eric performed the demolition and much of the heavy lifting up and down the stairs. Eric covered the floors to prevent damage and the kitchen was isolated in plastic. Eric made sure nothing was damaged and that the renovation did not effect the rest of the unit. Once again, Dmitriy came up with solutions that not only corrected the problems, but I ended up with more cabinet space and floor space and gained more square footage in the kitchen. This was accomplished by reconfiguring the soffits, reducing a wall, and carefully installing a glass tile backsplash. This is the sign of a good contractor. Even the paint he helped me pick out was perfect for the room. The new electric outlets, placement of the appliances, and new lighting turned my old kitchen into a brand new, more functional kitchen. At the end of each workday, I got either a call or text to let me know what was done that day and that was very important to me. The kitchen came out 100% the way I originally envisioned it. It looks like it can be in a magazine. Fantastic job!

Excellently !! From the first site visit to the finished product he was one time, responsive, and the final product was better then I could have hoped for. His service, professionalism, and honesty were incredible. This was the best renovation I have ever gone through.

I set up an appointment with Dmitriy for an estimate to renovate my home. The job would include floors on level one, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, stairwell and house extension. I provided him with architectural and engineering plans for the extension. He was very punctual came on a Saturday and spent about 1 hour discussing the project. He mentioned that it would be about 1-2 weeks that he could get back to me with a quote. Its been 4 weeks and I have not heard back. I tried one phone call and txt as a follow up. Must be busy but I think every potential customer requires a call to at least say "I decline"

We did not end up buying the deal as they did not have the time frame available that suited us. However, will definitely contact them for any other work that we would need around the house in the future.

My townhouse flooded, and required immediate work. Dimitri got along very well with my tenants, and kept them satisfied throughout the project. He took care of multiple details, without any micro-managing on my part, which was greatly appreciated, as I have an extremely busy job and could not address every problem. I was always kept in the loop, however, and Dimitri was always available. His pricing was very fair, and all the work was done in a thorough and efficient manner. Again, in spite of the water damage, my tenants were always content that there were no delays, and that the work was done well. I would recommend Dimitri and his company without any reservations, especially if you are a busy landlord.

He also worked with a specialty painter, Alex, to make my home beautiful again. He is an expert in faux painting techniques and specialty paints. The result is beautiful. Dimitry is also good about keeping you up to date on the project. His subs are very good as well. The work did go longer than I expected due in part to Miami Beach's inspection rules. The new bathroom and laundry room are beautiful and efficient. He is so good I have hired him for another project - custom shelving.

I narrowed down a list of several potential contractors to New Living Construction based on phone discussions and at home estimates. I picked New Living based on my dealings with Dmitriy. He is professional in all his dealings. If he doesn't answer the phone immediately, he returns calls and texts within minutes (even on a Saturday evening). I felt the estimate was fair. After I hired the firm for my job, Dmitriy walked me through the whole process including the various permits we needed for the job. He made that process extremely easy and it went by very quickly. The actual job is top-notch. The vanity was built from scratch at their shop and built totally to my specs (not bought wholesale, etc.). The piece is of high quality and the granite we picked out looks fantastic. The tile work on the floor and in the shower is one of the highlights of the job. It looks fantastic and the tiler took great care in his work. I showed them a picture I saw in a decorating website that I wanted the pattern replicated. It actually looks better than the picture. I looked at the work in the shower up close and found not one imperfection. This included the wall tile, floor mosaic, and new plumbing. The tiler phoned me every day at work when he was leaving the condo at the end of the day to tell me what he accomplished and that my pets were all doing well. They all took great care to ensure that my pets did not get out of the condo which opens directly to the outside. As in any renovation, there are some things with the existing structure where we have to change our original plans and improvise. Dmitriy always came up with a solution that ended up being better than the original plan. For example, the original vanity mirror which takes up a whole wall above the sink was supposed to remain. The only thing is that it wasn't cut straight and we had to improvise a solution. Dmitriy had his glass cutter remove the mirror from the wall, cut it down a few inches all around, and frame it with the same wood he used for the vanity. Using the existing mirror saved me a lot of money. It will end up becoming one of the center points of the job. I put off doing this job because I heard all the horror stories about contractors in South Florida and didn't want any aggravation. I took a leap of faith going with Dmitriy and his team. Now I'm glad I ended up doing this. The next time we meet, I will be asking Dmitriy for an estimate for my next job... my kitchen remodel. Overall, they exceeded my expectations and are a absolute pleasure to work with. Everything looks great!

Just recently started home remodeling project and called for estimate. Dmitry was very professional, available to meet on our schedule and responded as promised with detailed estimate on time.

Dmitri and his crew are the best. Gave me fair and reasonable quote. Started and finished our Pompano Beach condo renovation on time and came in on budget. The workmanship was flawless and the guys were absolutely professional. entireI highly recommended New Living Construction.

just over 1 year later and everything looks and functions the same as the day the work was done. Countless holiday guests, sleep over company and day parties later, everything still looks brand new and works perfectly. I wanted to wait a year to write this follow up review, because sometimes the work can be smoke and mirrors but NOT with Dmitry. He did an absolutely faboulous job! I will hire him again for the bathrooms.
