Generally in the past the service as good.  This time not so much.  I had trouble with the turbo on my auto and had to take it to the dealer who informed. Dealer informed me that in addition to other issues the brake pads that were installed were not the correct ones and were grinding down the roters.  This caused the cars computer to become confused and  signaled the cars operating system to shut down.  Dealer installed proper bakes  and had to resurface the roter.  I ended up paying twice to have brake service done.
Will not be visiting this establishment again and will stick with Auto Dealer as there I will received the proper parts when needed.

We brought car in for routine services and had a problem with service warning lights that appeared irregularly. Jacob's performed the routine services quickly and professionally, then tested car's systems. They tested the car's diagnostics thoroughly and were unable to replicate the engine warning signal but were able to restore the tire pressure signal. They waived the diagnostic service charge even though they spent considerable time and effort assessing the car's condition.
We've used them previously and have had good experiences. Even so, we were pleasant surprised that they waived the fee. I would not have had a problem with them charging us for their time and effort.
They're honest and professional. Very dependable.  And we appreciate how they conduct themselves. In the past, we brought one of our older cars in for work. They recommended several repairs, but prioritized the work -- they told us what needed to be addressed immediately and what repairs could be deferred. This contrasts greatly with some other auto repair centers we've done business with where they pressured us and did the hard sell trying to get as much money out of us as possible.
We've seen them treat other customers with the same respect and honesty. I've seen some cases that I know other mechanics would have charged for work or time, or would have performed the services rather than refer the customer to the dealership for work covered by warranty.

This is the first place I have been to in decades that did not try to up sell me and tell me I need hundreds of dollars of unnecessary service. Very honest people. They are very busy, had a long wait, but the deserve to be busy since trust is so important.

After spending the summer without A/C and getting no where with Firestone car repair, I went online and found Jacob's Garage. They've been there for almost 20 years and I had no idea. Wish I'd known instead of taking my truck to Firestone all these years. Went there and within half an hour of me arriving they found the problem with the A/C system. It was a leaking hose. The mechanic explained that since he had to open the A/C system it would then have to be vacuumed to get the moisture out. He set the price of the hose, labor, parts and it came to $500 plus tax. I asked for a break and he said we could leave it at $500 even. I agreed. Since it was on a Saturday, the hose wasn't going to be delivered until Monday. On Monday, as soon as the hose arrived, Zvi gave me a call to let me know the hose had arrived. Dropped my truck off and it was ready a few hours later.
While my truck was being diagnosed, I sat in the waiting area talking with the owner, Zvi. Being a small business owner myself, I LOVED that the owner runs/operates his own shop. It was nice to deal with someone who cares about their business unlike the guys at Firestone who could care less if they sold a job or not. They were there to get the check and leave. I'll keep taking my truck there as long as they'll have me. I highly recommend them.

I arrived at the shop early in the morning and was told my car would be the next in the bay. I think it was at least 45 minutes before it went in. My fault, I should have left after waiting 30 minutes, but I didn't. A couple of times I asked when it would be finished and was not happy with the responses. The technician was working on at least one other car when working on mine. Well,
three (3) hours later the two routine maintenance jobs were finished. I would suggest if you go to Jacobs that you drop off your car and not wait around like I did.

I originally brought the car to Midas which is very close to my house. I had to wait over an hour just to get an estimate for my engine mounts. The day I called Jacob's, they told me to bring the car over and I got an estimate in 10 minutes which was $400 less. They did that work plus I needed a new battery. They did a great job, they were on time and were very courteous. I needed to rent a car for work and there is an Enterprise rental across the street which will pick you up and drop you off, which is convenient.

Excellent attention to detail, called me as soon as they knew what the problem was. Price came in under price estimated by my old mechanic, (too far from me, spoke to him on the phone). I will use Jacob's in the future and have recommended their services to friends and family.

I spent $30 on that work. They are absolutely excellent, honest and upfront. It is rare to find a mechanic who is professional and honest.

The subject vehicle needing repair was a 1998 Dodge Dakota pick up truck. Although it is low mileage, I expcted it to need new brakes and had no idea what else might be required to get it road ready for a round trip of 3000 miles. A budget of $500 plus had been planned for this repair. Imagine my surprise to find that I only needed the brakes cleaned and adjusted. There were many people in this small shop that told me about their experiences with quality repairs, professional trained staff and honest business practices. When I was presented with a bill of $56.00 I was flabergasted--in a very good way. This is an outstanding organization with a great following and for good reason!!! In this day and age it was a pleasant surprise to not have someone look at my grey hair and then try to rip me off. I would not have known any better and could have been taken for several hundred dollars.
