Very professional, right on time, the person that introduced the product was extremely knowledgeable and didn't just try to sell me something. He spent time sufficient time explaining everything and his recommendations. He was here for a couple hours compared to the last few companies half hour presentation. He was also able to get me the price on the spot the other companies had to get back to me.

I have a hurricane screen that is broken and to fix it will cost considerably more than it originally cost to put it up.

Only negative was minor. Initial contact to request info was frustrating because several call backs to follow up voice mail messages were required over several days .They were extremely busy and apparently the gatekeeper was handling incoming calls before answering previous voice mail messages. I should have been more insistent. The job and the price were well worth the follow up required to get a service call scheduled. Everything from that point on was great!

Very professional competent company. Everyone I had contact with in this process from the individual who came by for the first sales appointment, to the office staff and finally Jason the installer, were first rate.

From start to finish was very professional. We have dual track screens on lanai that work with remote. Technicians are very professional; communications with home office was terrific; adjustments done in timely matter. We love our newly screened lanai and spend so much time there thanks to Storm Smart.

From the initial sales visit by Mr. Shelby Petterson, through hurricane screen installation and Final Inspection (7/7/14), Storm Smart has been great to deal with. Requested the hurricane screens be installed before the start of Hurricane Season (i.e.; 5/1/2014) and installation was accomplished about a week ahead of schedule. Joe and his assistant did a professional, expedious and fantastic job in the screens installation and were meticulous in their daily clean-up. Further, the electrician did an amazing job of routing and hiding all wires associated with the motorized system.

Initial contact went fine with Salesman coming to our home, taking measurements and showing us his product. Very well done, so we thought. When the company applied for permit, which is required for Sanibel, they found out that the product they had sold to us do not meet specifications required by building code. One of the questions we had asked saleman was whether or not they had any experience installing their product under Sanibel's building code. They said they did. If that is the case, how did they manage to sell us a product that did not meet said code? Never have gotten an answer to that question. We ended up having to upgrade the windows to be installed at a cost we were not willing to accept. In the end, however, the company agreed to reduce their price substantially to a level we were willing to accept. Once that hurdle was passed, the company performed the job in a most satisfactory manner and have been most responsive to the minor problems that have occurred.

We had hurricane screens installed on our lanai last fall. The screens needed a couple of adjustments (which we were told is a normal thing and we completely understood). They came back for an adjustment early this spring and decided that one of the screens needed to be replaced due to some "creases" that they thought would come out eventually, but they didn't. Again, no problem for us. We were happy they identified that the screens should be replaced. They had to fabricate the screen, so we were scheduled to have them installed a couple of weeks after the problem was identified. The date of the scheduled installation came and no one ever showed up to reinstall the screen. We also purchased electric remote control motors which they were going to install on this date. When we phoned to see why no one ever showed up, we were told there was a "mess up" with scheduling and they would call us back to schedule. We never heard back from them so my husband phoned again and the "new manager" (sorry, can't remember, should have written the name down) would call him back in 10 minutes with an install date. We didn't hear back again, so my husband called the next day and we were scheduled again. They did come on the scheduled date after the electrician came to check the wiring that was already pre installed when our condo was built. We called them for an adjustment last week (we were instructed that there would need to be an adjustment because of the "stretching" of new material), on May 27th and were told someone would return our call to schedule this but, again, we never heard from them. We called yesterday (June 2nd) and left a message requesting an adjustment and requesting a call back. Again, same story again....no return phone call. We called this morning and left a message for a call back and waited until 4 p.m.(never received a call back) so we called at 4 p.m. today and a lady told us she would transfer us and we should leave a message. We explained to her that we have left multiple messages with no call back. She said "let me see if I can get you a real person", so she transferred my husband to someone named "Mimi" who told my husband they are booked up this week and next week, but may be able to get to us the week of June 16th. We explained we will be out of town that week. She just said they are really, really busy right now. Of course they are, it's storm season. I guess we are last priority because they already have all of our money. They said they will call us in a "couple of weeks" to reschedule. I can't wait to see if they will, my bet is that they don't. I'm going to keep better notes with dates and who we speak with when we phone there from now on, so I can report on Angie's List. Sarah from Storm Smart called us shortly after this review was published and apologized. She arranged for someone to come out the same week and do an adjustment of the storm screens. The adjuster was very efficient and professional. I really appreciate that they responded to our Angie's List review in this manner and applaud them for recognizing there was a miscommunication. I would recommend them to others and understand that sometimes there are miscommunications. In the future, I will ask to speak with a Customer Service Manager if we do not receive a call back after leaving voicemail messages. They are the most professional company I have ever dealt with in Florida. From the sales process, to the scheduling, to the installation. A quality job!

Storm Smart Industries are very good and do terrific work. We've referred three other people to them and we got an unexpected $50.00 referral fee for each one. It was awesome. They're very, very good.

These guys are much different from many South Florida companies. These folks care that you get what you need and do exactly what they say they will do. They are prompt. They call you right back. They do exactly what they say they will do, on time and professionally. They are the real deal. We met them after another company installed something for us but never finished the job and even though promised several times on the phone never came back. We needed some part and Smart companies ordered the parts, called when they came in and we picked them up, FOR FREE. The free was nice but what sold us is that the parts we needed were another brand so they had to order them special. This is after they took us to their shop, asked several of the guys to help determine what we needed and then ordered the parts. This is very exceptional in Southwest Florida.

We purchased these windows and sliders based on assurances from the salesman that the noise problem that we were experiencing from traffic would be greatly diminished if not eliminated. They made little or no difference. Upon the subsequent hiring of a noise consultant, we found out that moving from single pane to double pane windows decreases exterior noise very minimally. The windows are an improvement over what we had, but did not solve our problem and we're $21,000 poorer to boot. When I expressed my dissatisffaction to the salesman he dismissed my complaint and told me there would have to be improvement. Another lady in the office promised to voice my concerns to "upper management" but I've heard nothing further from them. One of the selling points mentioned was some kind of superior Angie's List rating. I hope based on my experience that they will at least lose that. Also there was an inspection by the county that they were supposed to arrange and post-inspection work that took weeks to arrange and considerable hounding on my part to get taken care of (according to the installation team, it should have been done the following week). I highly suggest that this company be avoided.

Great Product and service. Our spec home already had hurricane patio doors, but we wanted this product so we could use lanai more and leave patio furniture on lanai during tropical stoms and when we are gone. If you are building or thinking of replacing patio doors with hurricane glass, I strongly recommend consider this product which eliminates need for patio hurricane doors.

It took a couple of months to get the windows. Everything was good but I still haven't seen a permit and they haven't been inspected by the city. It's kind of weird. The install was good. They have my money but the inspection hasn't been done. The price was okay. They were on time except for this last issue.
