Description of Work: John is an honest guy that knows what he's doing. We have used him several times both for the garage door opener problems and garage door repairs and have been satisfied 100 percent each and every occurrence. + -1 moreOverall, I am very satisfied with Mr. Gessner's installation of the two garage door openers from start to finish. First I was assisted by Mr. Gessner's wife in that she recommended a very good door opener and also told me that they were on sale and where I could get them at a good price. I purchased the door openers and had them waiting for Mr. Gessner when he arrived for the appointment. Mr. Gessner is a very personable man that truly loves his craft. When he arrived he looked to see what needed to be done. Confirmed the price quoted by his wife, and described what he would be doing and assured me that he would not leave till I knew all I wanted to know about the operating the openers and even changing codes and setting up remotes. He even set up the remotes built into my car and showed me how it was done so I could set them for a car that was not available at the time. He did a first rate job on the installation, Showed me everything I needed to know about the openers, and remotes including security features. Before he left he even swept up the garage, though he had not made much of a mess at all. He even helped me take some large boxes out for the trash and helped them get them into the truck when the collectors came. That was above and beyond the call of duty. I would highly recommend Mr Gessner to anyone with anything to do with garage doors. He will definitely get my repeat buisiness if need be. Great work at a great price. Even got a discount for multiple openers installed. Very professional work in a timely manner.

+ -1 moreMr. Gessner could have sold me 2 new garage door openers, but he was honest, and did the repairs he thought would cure the problems. I was skeptical, but when he finished, the doors were incredibly quiet. The doors now close even with the afternoon sun shining on the electric eyes. He did a very good job.
Description of Work: I had 2 very loud, screeching garage doors, and some problems with one of them closing when the afternoon sun shone on them. I thought I needed new openers to decrease the noise. Mr. Gessner came out to assess the problem and give me an estimate. He told me that oiling, replacing the metal rollers, tighting the chains, etc. would reduce the noise, and that my openers were good, and working well. He found some wiring problems with the electric eyes and repaired them.

I purchased a complete garage door and John did a great job, He replaced all of the parts and now I have an excellent door. Thanks for the great job!

+ -1 moreThis is a father and son company and I was very impressed by their willingness to do things. The new panel needed to be painted before they installed it, so they brought it out early, so that I could get it painted. They were very courteous and polite. I thought they did a great job.
