Description of Work: Fixed the leak in the water softener. the repairs were done properly. The plumber also offered advice on what to do if I wanted to replace the system based on it's age. I will use Scotto Plumbing if I decide to replace the water softening system.

Description of Work: I called Scotto plumbing to fix a leaky toilet. Upon arriving I was told that the price would be either X or depending on what was found to be the problem it could go much higher. The plumber went to work, after a few minutes he said the first price was not going to be the price, he quoted a second price, and then a third worst scenario price. He went back to work, a few minutes later, the price changed to the worst case price. At this point my toilet was off the pedestal I kinda felt like I was caught over a barrel and had to agree to the price. Long story short, I called to fix a leaky toilet, and it cost me $525... It is what it is, but I felt like a plumber should show up, eyeball what the problem is, quote a price and fix the problem, job done. Fair is fair, prices are way too much. Nice to have a non leaking toilet though.

Description of Work: Put in new toilet. The work went very well. The worker was friendly and kept the work area clean. I will use them again if I need a plumber. The toilet was a very good brand name and the cost reflected that.

Description of Work: they were asked to unblock a drain in a two bedroom one bathroom home. They stated it was in the line between septic and home. I replaced that line. It got clogged again. They came back and stated they wee not responsible for first diagnosis and would gladly unclog me for another service fee. They did unclog second blockage , and partially refund 1st service call fee if hired for the second. I hired them for the second.. I still have a drain problem and will need to continue to search for a solution. make a long story short they could not fix it and recommended remedies that turned into inaccurate diagnostic costs...They were professional and timely....

Description of Work: I had a clogged kitchen drain, I already removed trap so clog was in wall. I called around for quotes and decided to try Scotto. The tech arrived in the time period provided, snaked the pipe and put everything back and cleaned up, answered all my questions and sold me bio cleaner to eat grease in pipes. Price included drain, bio cleaner and coupon. I was very satisfied with the service provided.

Description of Work: Had clogged toilet. Plumber came and used a snake to try and undo the clog. He tried a couple of times and it didn't seem to do much good. He then tried to tell me that I needed a new toilet. After he left I went and rented a snake after 4 or 5 tries I cleared the clog and did not need a new toilet.

I gave John the information and he helped me prioritize only the things that needed immediate attention. He installed a new toilet and shower assembly. The tank on the new toilet leaked (due to a defect) but he came right out to replace it. Very responsive and helpful. I will definitely use them for the rest of the work I need.

Description of Work: We had an underslab water leak. Contractor had sonar detection service in the same day we called. Leak was detected under out living room. Scotto came back the next day and had to jack hammer through the slab in order to get at and repair the leak. They did a good job of limiting the disruption, they were neat and courteous. they cleaned up after the job very well. I would definitely use them in the future.
