I had a toilet that made the pipes shake when it flushed. He came out and diagnosed the problem AND repaired it in under 30 minutes! Awesome!

Company was responsive in setting up the appointment. Technicians arrived on time. By process of elimination they identified the stretch of line where the the leak in the pipe probably was...between the house and the meter which included quite a bit of driveway. They contacted a subcontractor to pinpoint the leak. Subcontractor was able to identify the spot and it was under the driveway. Technicians could come back that day to dig under the driveway which would cost more or breakup some of the concrete which would be cheaper but cost as much in the long run since the concrete would later have to be replaced. Elected to pay to dig under the concrete. Technicians did a great job of digging under the driveway to make the repair. The removal of the water filter portion of the job was revised to replacing the plastic water filter with a metal one. Unfortunately the filter wasn't immediately available and everyone had to wait a couple of hours while a filter was found and delivered. Existing PVC piping between water filter and water softener was reorganized and replaced. Drain for water softener was rerouted and replaced. Technicians were excellent at leaving the work area clean.

Very good service. We have used Scotto's several times and have been very pleased with their professionalism. Their staff is very courteous and helpful.

They were good. They did not come at odd times and they worked well. They charged me according to the work they did.

The water company advised me that the pipe leading from the water meter to my house was leaking water badly. I had Scottos Plumbing come out and repair the line. The repairman showed me how a large root from a nearby tree had pushed the plastic pipe up until it broke. He removed the section of root and repaired the pipe. Dale was a very pleasant professional to work with. He was very polite to my wife.

We use him for our plumbing work. The quality of work was good. He was responsive, punctual, and professional. He came out 3 or 4 weeks ago.

On time, professional, thorough, cleaned up completely

Very responsive to our schedule and needs. Plumber, Bobby, arrived on time with only an expected problem with finding the location (street is not on maps nor on GPS). Bobby addressed the problem with speed and professionalism. He corrected the initial installation errors and made the resulting installation much neater and more efficient. Accepted Angie's List coupon with no hassle.

Call late afternoon 10/22 to Scotto, informed them I had no hot water.Service was scheduled for next day between 2 and 4, received call about 11, wanting to know if their plumber could arrive early. Bobby arrived within half-hour, quickly checked system, determined element was defective, then replaced it. He was a good representative of Scotto Plumbing Service, Inc.

When the plumber arrived at my house, it began to rain. He informed he had to go on the roof to run the snake into the drain to unclog the backup. He went out in the rain, to my surprised and performed the task, He also replaced all the plumbing underneath my sink. He was very polite and knew excatly what he was doing. I would recommend scottos plumbing to anyone.

They were excellent. They were on time and their price was satisfactory. They did the work very professionally.

They had someone at my home within 2 hours and quickly and professionally did the repair even though it was raining. The repair would have been $49.00 on any day other than Saturday, but I didn't want to wait.

When my water heater went they came the same day or next day. They are just great! I will definitely continue to use them in the future.

They gave me options to do a cheaper or more thorough option, which I liked. The more thorough and expensive route had a better warranty. The service was very good. They were professional and the quality of their work was excellent. I would use them again.

Thinking then that our problem might lie outside of the house, I called the water company. The first thing their representative asked me was if I had a water softener. I said "yes". The representative then instructed me then to go put the water softener and put it on "by-pass" - then check to see if the pressure improved. It did, immediately it returned to its normal level. I then called Scottos and spoke with the "Operations Manager". I asked her if her employee should have known that the problem might have been with the water softener. She said "yes". My husband asked her if Scotto's repaired water softeners. She said "yes". My husband then spoke with someone she forwarded us to by phone and my husband asked a few questions about water softener repairs, salt levels, etc. and the call ended with that second employee, who didn't seem to my huband, to know much about water softeners either. Based on our experience with them at that point, we did not ask them to come back and look at the water softener nor did they offer to. I've waited several weeks to report this incident to Angie's list, giving Scottos ample time to contact us, follow-up, apologize, make an adjustment in their charges after admitting that their employee should have known that the water softener was the probable cause of the drop in water pressure, etc., but so far - we haven't heard a word from them. I would not call them again, obviously, nor would I recommend them to anyone else..

I chose not to use them because their prices were extremely high. I knew you could get the washers from a hardware store, and it seemed like they were charging me more than it required to be.

I was dissatisfied with their work. I kept thinking that they will come back and finish their work, but they didn?t. All of a sudden, I got calls from a collection agent. I had paid them everything, and it was in the credit report. My sinks didn?t have faucets on them, so it was okay. They were nice, but there was just some misunderstanding or something.

In July, at our request, Don returned to repair a faucet that would not operate, and to replace a shower cartridge, shower head and arm. Again, Don accomplished the job well, and charged the amount of his quote. Don was friendly, professional, instructive and effective. We will call Scotto's and request Don for any future plumbing issues.

John was very professional and a down to earth type of person. Because it was raining, he had to do the work from the inside rather than the vent from the outside. Good thing too, because the drain clog was right under the sink. He had to cut the drain line and noticed that the drain was completely clogged. I witnessed it to. He took care in not scratching up my already ugly tile and sent 30 feet of the snake into the pipes to clean up. He then sold us some Bioclean that would be used as preventative maintenance. He was very knowledgeable. He did the best he could to clean up, as it was an absolute down pour outside. He also took time to redo the plumbing underneath my sink. The price was a little higher than I anticipated, but so was the clog.

Called them on Sunday and was able to schedule a Tuesday call. I have used them two previous times and had great experience with them. Justin arrived ahead of schedule and estimated the cost of finishing "my job" :-). He spent a hour and half installing all of the stuff that I bought from Home Depot. He took his time to do it right. He also re-did my plumbing underneath the sink. Price was cheaper than I expected it to be. He also gave me an estimate for installing a water softner and utility tub, which I will be hiring them to do in the next few weeks.

He showed up on time for the job if I remember correctly. He easily diagnosed what the issue was regarding my drain. He actually made a couple of adjustments at no charge other than the service visit itself. Then he made a recommendation on how I should go about replacing my toilet. After he gave me some estimates, I decided to do the work myself. I figured his price was around the going rate.

Callled one day, next day everything fixed, incredible

I found them on Angie's List and was very pleased with their work. They were very professional, prompt and very neat. They also answered any questions that I had and the price was very good.

Bill was here at 9:00 a.m. and told us that it might be an all day job. He was correct. It took a lot of ingenuity, hard work and pressing on, despite the road-blocks that 59 yr old plumbing can offer. He only cut off the water to the house for a while, when he absolutely had to. He did a very good job and when he saw a new problem, he notified us and asked if we wanted to go ahead with the job, instead of trying to cover up the problem. We now have plumbing that should last for another 50 yrs. He finished both jobs at 6:30 p.m., after taking minimal breaks. I made lunch and afternoon snacks, for us and shared these with him, and when he finished, I sent him home with a container of our Spaghetti dinner.

Their work was very clean. Overall, I had an excellent experience with them. I will use their services again in the future.
