Jerry is the owner. Their price for the hot water heater was reasonable. It was kind of an unexpected expense and so it seemed a bit high from that standpoint. I have always found them to be pretty much in the ballpark on prices. I have been more than satisfied with them. They always come when they say they are going to and the estimates they give us are accurate. I have always been very pleased. That is why we have been with them for quite a long time. I would use their services in the future too.

They were very timely. We have a yearly contract where we get priority in service so they come the next day or that day if necessary so they are very punctual. Also as we use them the money gets discounted off the price and we get a ten percent discount. The quality of their work has been very good. Their price is good.

Called Scotto's and they came out the very next morning and repaired the leak. I was unable to be home during the repair, but the tank was outside in the back yard were they could access it. I came home to find a new valve, piping and a working propane tank. The service paper work was placed in an envelope, taped to my door, with an inspection report of the existing system, as this was the second time they had been out for the same category of issue. Could not ask for a better job. Sytem is practically new.

Called on 2/16/11 and made appt. for someone to come out to my parents' house. Three other plumbering companies came out prior and gave them the run around. One plumber wanted to sell them a $700 toilet! Dale from Scotto's came out and helped my Dad install the new toilet he (my Dad) bought at Home Depot. Took about half an hour. Nice to know that Scotto's does not take advantage of elderly people and are honest.

he arrived early and was pleasant until he saw the cabinet he had to work in and complained about it. also, what i did not like was he told me there was a $49 trip charge. i asked on the phone when i called them how much to install a kitchen faucet and i was told $99 period. i told the plumber it was like he was pulling a bait and switch tactic and he agreed the phone rep should have told me. he made it right in the end and only charged me the $99 so i paid an even $100. all in all i would use their service again because he made it right. so good for him. and thanks for being fair.

The technician came at the scheduled time and using a snake cleaned the drain. After an hour or so, the drain stopped up again. I called and they send the technician back to do the job again at no cost. The drain has be open since then with no problems. The technician was very polite and professional.

Overall, this servcie was expertly done. Dale arrived on time, arranged for the necessary service of a leak detection company, and followed-up immediately with the repair. He explained what was necessary to fix the leak and kept us informed of his progress as he worked. Once his work was done, the work site was left quite tidy.

Great! I called the company and the plumber came out that afternoon to look at the work. He suggested i get a faucet myself for the kitchen and he would install it as the ivory faucet was not one that had on the truck. He took a look at the bathroom sink and found the part that was leaking. He took that part with him to get a replacement for both sides of the sink. Lastly, he ran a 3/8 copper line from the garage to the laundry room. He took the time to run the line correctly and ensured the new line had its own shutoff (not mandatory, but he wanted to do it right which I appreciated). He installed a water filter on that line for me and made sure all was good. I really appreciated the care and quality of the work for the custom work. I am very pleased with the work.

Excellent service overall. Scheduling was easy to accomplish in advance, and the plumber, Bobby, arrived on time each day. He worked efficiently and had to be creative in installing three of the faucets which had very little clearance. The extra time he spent being sure these all functioned properly was certainly appreciated. Bobby was professional, answered all my questions and I would request him again for any future work.

Service tech arrived and immediately inspected the hot water system externally. He explained in detail exactly what he was going to do and how the process works. It was not a complex job by any stretch. Basically the water supply is shut off to the system and a natural chemical flush is performed for approximately an hour or so through the heating system to clean scale, lime and other hard water deposits from the inside out. After that is complete, water supply is turned back on and the system is checked for performance and flushed to get any remaining treatment out of the system.

Plumber was personable, professional, tidy and very experienced. He explained every step, showed me what he was doing as he did it. Instead of going straight to a rooter machine, he removed the toilet, which surprised me at the time. His suspicions were right -- tree roots had broken the flange and filled the first eight or ten inches of pipe completely. He had to dig them out, then replace the flange and toilet. So, even though it ended up costing far more than I'd expected, I'm convinced it was done right this time and I got what I paid for. I was so impressed that I've purchased a maintenance contract from them.

Within the hour, Tom from Scotto's Plumbing came and turned off the water at the meter. A short time later, John and Dave were at the house to replace the broken portion of pipe. The repair only took an hour and went smoothly. No further problems have been encountered

The charge would be applied to the bill should I decide to use them, but in this economic climate, one would think charging almost $50.00 for the privilege of bidding a job a bit extreme...

Bobby And Jason were very good: they are true professionals : they work with you when it comes with scheduling etc; I had to buy fixtures for the bathroom and jason was nice enough to suggest buying it where I got hte best deal Bobby is also very good and very responsive when we call we would recommend them highly

They came out over the weekend. The tub would not stop running and they replaced plumbing and reworked the plumbing.

I have been using them for years. The service charge has increased to $149.00. It used to be around $50.00. They did not have to replace any parts and charged me a larger amount. I also have a service contract with them that is good for 25 percent off. The price of the service call has increased dramatically.

I called the company in the morning and they came out 3 hours later. I was a little unsure of what my problem was and therefore was a little concerned that I might be overcharged. The lady that answered the phone was courteous and the plumber, Bobby, was very friendly and very professional. He fixed only what was necessary which was important to me.

Overall, everything was excellent. I have used them for the last ten years. They are good folks.

They were at my home exactly at the time they said they would be. He replaced bathroom sink and a faucet handle that was cracked. He was very careful and cleaned up when he was finished. We have used this company many times and will continue to do so in the future.

I had them come out to replace the flaps in 2 toilets. I was charged nearly double that of last time. I feel they up-charged me on the replacement parts. Initially, I called the office to schedule an appointment on a Friday and we agreed to have them come on a Monday. 20 minutes later, someone was knocking at the door. I was unavailable so I wasn't able to answer. I then got a phone call from the office that the plumber was in the area and able to do the work. When he did end up completing the work, he didn't wear the shoe booties as the previous plumber from this company had. My first experience was stellar but I was disappointed in the second visit.

They charged a $49 trip charge which is average for plumbers in this area plus $269 for their service. I had a sewer stoppage and they claimed to have cleared up to 100 feet of sewer pipe. However in several days the problems occurred again. So they did come back again for free and cleared the lines again from different locations (like from the plumbin air vents on the roof) and from sink locations located further from the outside sewer pipes. They said that if I had the problem again I would have to pay for them to use a Camera system to see what the problems are. They did a good job and came back for free and were very nice about it.

First, the plumber arrived more than an hour early for our agreed upon window for the appointment (we agreed upon noon to 2 p.m. - he showed up at around 10:30 a.m.) and acted put out because I was not there to meet him. He had to wait for me to leave work and drive to the house. I was there in less than 30 mins. I arrived and showed him into the garage, and explained the issue and what I wanted done (the goal was to install a washing machine drain in the detached garage). I showed him the old floor drain and told him it was clogged. I turned my back to talk with the exterminator (who had arrived on time for his appointment), and when I turned back around, the plumber had taken my garden house and was running water into the old (clogged) floor drain - and flooding my garage. He did this without even asking or telling me he was going to do it, and left me scrambling to get all of my cardboard boxes off the floor (I was just moving in and had stacked some boxes in the garage until I could move them into the house) as he soaked them with the nasty water from the overflowed floor drain. His only reaction was to say "oh, you didn't like that, huh?" and "that wasn't enough water to hurt the boxes," even though the bottoms of the boxes were soaked, and he had no idea what was inside them anyway. He showed no respect whatsoever for my personal property. He finally recommended snaking out the floor drain, which I agreed to try - and it cost me about $100 and did no good at all. Then he told me I could either dig up my yard and run a new drain pipe all the way out to the sewer under the roadway in front of the house - to the tune of $3000 - or I could continue to allow the washing machine to drain into the shower pan in the garage - as the previous owner had done - neither alternative of which was acceptable to me. As a single female, I felt the plumber had a condescending attitude towards me and the job at hand. I did not even try to use my Angie's List coupon - I just wanted to pay him for what he did (which really was worthless and left a mess) and have him leave. I used Scotto's a few years ago and gave them a favorable review, however, after this most recent experience, I will likely not call upon them again. I have had the work done by another plumbing company, Peninsula Plumbing, who knew just what to do, at a much lower price, and did an exceptional job.

Bobby showed up on time; was courteous; knew exactly what my problem was and fixed it within a few minutes. He was clean, friendly and did the work in a professional manner. When he was writing up the bill, he asked where I found the company and as soon as I said "Angie's List", he immediately gave me the discount that was displayed on their page without my having to ask for it. I did, however, find that $98.00 to walk in the front door was a bit high but after speaking with Angie at the company, she explained that this was their normal charge. I should have asked when I called in the problem, so this is "my bad". I would not hesitate to use this company again if a plumbing problem arises.

I was at work so a friend watched my house. She said that the plumber came 5 minutes after the scheduled time and was actually able to finish the job in about 10 minutes, which is amazing since the pipes and faucette was so old.
