We've used Scotto's for the last 10 years at our home, they have consistently been courteous and thorough with their repairs. We had a warranty issue with a water heater they installed and they came out and replaced with a new one, no questions asked.

he dispatcher was friendly and scheduled an appointment for the next day to estimate the service. The installer was on time, courteous, and efficient. He got the permit that same day and returned the next and installed the new gas water heater. There were no deviations from the estimate, and we would definitely highly recommend Scottos Plumbing. We are interested in an all-house water filtration/softening unit and will call them first.

I chose this company because it was approximately 4 miles from my house and because it was rated well on Angies list. I have a leaky tub faucet. When I called Moen, they said I was under warranty and the part only takes a few minutes to install. The part number that the Scotto plumber had told me that I needed was actually similar but not the part I needed. Moen is sending me the part free of charge. The plumber at scotto told me that their rate for plumbing labor only is 120.00 dollars an hour (with a one hour minimum I guess). I would also say that Tricia, who answers the phone is particularly not charming.

I originally called another plumber, first on list when listed as reviews with most comments/reviews. That plumber said they did not service this area, and have told Angie's list on several occasions of this fact. They suggested Scotto's, which is a bit further down on the list but should not be a factor in considering them. I would highly recommend that customers consider Scotto's. I would go a step further and remind Scotto's that as the face of the company, the tech is their #1 asset. They would be a highly remissed to let Ocy get away. He provided fine service as a very personable and professional plumbing tech.

Unbelievabe. This company deserves a lot of kudos for their generosity and professionalism. It is so refreshing and much needed in the world today. I hope many people read this review and use this company.

The plumber was early to the appointment, and very professional. He had to go back to Scotto's to get the proper equipment for the job ( the pipe to the shower knob had sprung leaks and the whole assembly needed to be replaced ), and returned quickly. He preformed the service rather quickly, and I've not had any leaks since. There is some slight discoloration on the shower wall next to where the work was done, but I don't mind terribly. This is the first time I've dealt with a plumbing service, so I have no basis for comparison, but I'm satisfied with what I received.

From the thoughtful phone call letting us know Dale was running late, till the time Dale wrote up the invoice, it was a great experience. Dale performed the work well, quickly and throughout the process showed me everything he was doing and why. It was great to learn more about how the plumbing works as well as where our emergency shut off vale is. Dale even suggested I call the county department to get the shutoff valve installed correctly, as it is not in compliance with plumbing standards. I will always use Scotto's - the company is a very fine and trustworthy one and every technician we've had has been great.

I could not have been happier or more impressed with the service I received. They went above and beyond, taking care of my water heater problems.

I noted water running down my driveway at 4:30 PM - I called and the receptionist said a man would be out within the hour. He arrived on time, quickly found the problem and quoted me very close to the actual fee. It seemed like a lot of money, but he was here nearly 2 hours and fixed the problem (as far as I know...it's still dark!) I'm impressed with how quickly they arrived, diagnosed the problem quickly and had all the tools to fix it on the spot. The plumber was very nice and competent. It seemed a little expensive but considering it was an after hour repair, that seems reasonable.

They were extremely fair and reasonable with pricing. They were just great! I would definitely recommend them.

Great experience. We have two large dogs but that was no problem. No mess made (or if it was, it was cleared up before he left). One guy did all the work and he was very friendly and explained everything very clearly. Will definitely use Scotto's again. This was my first Angie's List experience so, so far so good :-) I have given a B for Price and Quality because I have nothing to compare with, however, so far, very satisfied with both. Update: Used Scotto's a second time for a pipe leak in the back yard - excellent service all round.

Researched Angie's List monthly booklet for a plumber and decided on Scotto's Plumbing as their phone was answered immediately and the questions asked by Scotto's as to problem and the fact that they would come at once without a service charge encouraged me. Repairman was here quickly. Repairs were done professionally and obviously with experience. Broken water heater was carted away by repairman.

I took advantage of Scotto's recent Angie's list offer of $325 for full install of new toilet including all parts and labor. Dave showed up right on time, got right to work and finished more quickly than I had originally anticipated. Unfortunately, the original flange was badly rusted and had to be replaced which was not part of the $325 deal, but I was able to see for myself that it was indeed rusted and could not hold a bolt and had no problem paying the additional to get the job done right. Obviously removing and replacing a toilet is messy business, but Dave left my bathroom spotless and took all trash and boxes with him. I have used Scotto in the past and my experience this time was the same as always; professional, friendly, polite people who do excellent work.

Overall, I am pleased with the company and the plumber. However, I think the price was high. But I was grateful to have the toilets operable again!! 10/5/12: After researching the cost for the work that was done, I found that the price was almost double what it should have been. The job was good, but I feel I probably got ripped off. I would not call this company again.

Please see above. I have given them an all over "A" rating. I have zero complaints and certainly cannot find anything negative about my overall experience - only a totally positive one!

The technician was quite friendly, and the work was flawless.

It was a Saturday morning (of course) and after showering I turned the faucet off but the water kept running, not at full pressure, but running enough that we had to turn the water off at the main valve. I called Scotto's Plumbing because we have used them in the past and I knew they had Saturday hours which would also include a trip charge of $98.00. Because it was early in the morning I called and got voice mail. I received a call back within 10 minutes and I was told Dale would be at our home within the hour and he arrived at 7:30. As expected the faucet valve had to be replaced ($262). Even though the valve is made by Kohler it is not something "common" enough for Scotto's (or most Plumbing Company's) to carry parts for. Dale when to the nearest parts store but they did not have it in stock so it had to be ordered. Dale explained that he had ordered the part but because of the upcoming fourth of July holiday it would take a little longer to get delivered to their business but they would call as soon as it arrived. Dale was able to keep the faucet from running so that we could turn the water back on coming into the house. Because we have another bathroom to use it was not that much of an inconvenience, and did not mind waiting for the parts to come in. Once the part came in Scotto's called and scheduled an time to come out and install the new valve. Even though Scotto's "waived" another trip charge there was still an installation charge of $159. The day after the installation when I turned on the faucet there was a really loud pounding noise coming from the pipes so I had to call and schedule Dale to come back out to see what was happening. To make a long story short, Dale was able to finally locate the problem and fixed it by installing some "pressure" valves under the bathroom sink. Of course there was no charge for him to come back out and he did not charge me for the valves he installed under the sink which was greatly appreciated!

There wasn't anything that I didn't like. The service was prompt and he arrived when he said he would. He was professional and polite.

Our master bath toilet was having trouble flushing and we called Scotto's. The plumber was quick and skilled. He found we had hairlike roots entering from the under the foundation and into the toilet piping blocking the flow. He had to remove the whole toilet and remove about three feet of thin, clumpy roots. Then he had to reset the toilet. It sits better not then when it was originally installed. More importantly, it is a fantastic flusher now. He also explained how it is coming from one of the trees nearby so we can search (trench) and cut the main feeder root. We were completely satisfied.

The original plumber was a constant complainer, complaining of his co-workers and plumbing staff while in the house and acted like he hated his job. He hardly looked at the job and found excuses why he couldnt do it and would have to come back. He ordered parts that turned out to be the wrong parts when they came it and put the job back another two weeks before finally completing the work after someone else had to get the right part ordered. Richard came out to correct some of the problem and he was great and did the work fast and professional. Not sure we would trust them again. The staff was professional and courteous when we talked to them on the phone but they sent the original plumber out to finish the work instead of Richard who had to come out to straighten out the problems. We have used this company in the past but it was Richard who did all the work the first time and we were very happy with that experience.
