It was a dificult job because of a sunken bathtub. Line had to go below that. Old line was made of the tarpaper material used in the 1960s. Over the years, the line wears out and tree roots punch holes in it. Three men had to dig up the old line and replace it with a modern one. They were up to their armpits digging the old one up and replacing it with new, modern material. Put in two taps so they could reach future problems. Attached line to county sewer. They secured county permit and scheduled the county inspection. All in all, I was pleased with the work and outcome. Hope it does the job for us. Nothing worse then a sewer system that continually backs up. A special shout-out toe John Ware, who supervised the job. Without a doubt, John is the best salesperson in the county!!

They are our go to plumber whenever we have problems. I have a contract with them and because of that I got an Angie’s discount. They are very prompt. All their work has been good. They people that came out here were really responsive to details. One big thing for my wife is they are clean, they are very clean when they are done.

They did a good a job. They had to come out twice to repair the faucet but only charged me for one visit.

Their prices were high. They were extremely professional. I think they overcharged me for replacing a PVC pipe. I actually used them twice and the first time was really good. I would probably look for somebody else in the future because of the pricing. They did the work in 25 minutes. It was my fault because I was desperate and agreed to the price. They got the job done and everything was good except for the price.

I have never replaced an outdoor faucet. The previous owner had gotten stucco on the threads of two of the outdoor faucets and a hose wouldn't connect. I thought about trying to replace them myself but decided not to. It's a good thing, too. Dale, the plumber from Scotto's plumbing, told me that many homeowners try to remove the faucet themselves but find after breaking a pipe, that the faucets were not screwed on but soldered on, which was the case of our faucets. He explained how to tell if the faucet is screwed on or soldered on to the stem. He arrived precisely when he was scheduled to, turned the water off and replaced two outdoor faucets. I watched him and he explained what he was doing. He used an acetylene torch to melt the solder on both faucets, removed them, prepared the stem and replaced them by soldering the new one on the stem. He told me how important it was to get all the water out of the pipe before soldering the new faucet on. He took about a 1/2 hour and he was done. Fantastic job. We received a $20 discount because we are members of Angie's List. I had printed the discount coupon which Scotto's required. I feel after watching Dale, and having him explain the procedure to me, that I am able to replace other outdoor faucets, if necessary, but not as quickly or as proficiently as Dale. This was a very pleasant experience.

After a small scheduling snafu was remedied with Scotto's, the service was fantastic and we would highly recommend again! The representative was on time, courteous, extremely knowledgable, and was helpful in making some the decisions needed to complete the repairs.

After giving a thorough assessment and a few options, the job selected was done quickly, neatly and for a very fair price considering the labor involved. Would have taken me more than twice as long to do it myself.

Water heater flush was an Angie's List special. The toilet leak was an additional matter that I needed to have addressed. As work was progressing, I was kept informed. Everything working fine so far.

We had no water on Sunday afternoon. The tech Scoto's had on duty was in the middle of another job, but they told me they would be out at 9:00 on Monday. Jason came out as promised. He was very professional; knowledgable and worked straight thru until everything was fixed. I think we got our monies worth even though it was expensive.

We were pleased that the employee knew exactly what he was doing and explained the process to my husband.

The plumber arrived during the window given. He offered additional services (ie, one of our other toilets was also experiencing an issue) but did not "push".

He is very professional, very informative, he gave us a lot of inoformation about the work that would be done and also told us about potential work that would be additional to complete the job.

Plumber did an excellent job, was very professional and courteous. I would use Scotto's Plumbing again.

It went very smoothly. * The plumber was delayed by other jobs (we had an appointment at the end of the day). The office communicated shortly after the due time that he was going to be late; he was 30 minutes late. * The job was took between 1-1.5 hours. * They used all cooper except the pressure relief pipe (PVC). * They had to install a water expansion-tank; it was required by code now. * Price was comparable to others (not the lowest) but we have had them do work on the house before and did a good job. * While they charged a $49 visit charge when they provide the estimate; they did not have a line item on the invoice when they came to install the new water heater. PS. Make sure to present the Angie's List coupon as they won't honor it after payment and the plumber leaves the site. I forgot the present the coupon when they provided the estimate.

The toilet was $700 because it was a higher end toilet. They're always good, always on time, always professional, they quickly respond to every request that you have, they get my highest ratings. I've used them since we moved here twelve years ago.

The plumber was on time and most polite. He resolved the problem in record time.

During the clean out the toilet started to flood my home. The employee did not offer to help me and just told me to call the company that they use. I asked if they would pay for the damages because they caused the flood but they said no. I have had good experiences with them in the past but this most recent one was very unsatisfactory and I will not use them again.

Done simply and cleaned up after himself. He did more than I thought was wrong. Very happy saved having to call again.

He was very professional and provided a written quote on his business letterhead estimate sheet. He explained how the system works. He gave us a product brochure and suggested a unit sized to our family's need. He seemed very knowledgeable. When we decide to convert from an electric water heater, Eddie will be at the top of the list. We just purchased our house and are having to divert the dollars for this job to another that was unforeseen.

He was clean, had boot covers on, and did a very nice job.

They were terrific! We called them, they came out to see what we needed help with, and fixed it up quickly. I would recommend them or use them again in a minute. The toilet was a little bit expensive, but we knew that when we ordered it, so it was to be expected. He arranged for the toilet to be delivered while he was still there. All of this was on New Year's Eve!

Scotto's always does a great job. They were on time, professional and cleaned up after themselves. They were done quickly. Scotto's was able to come out the day after I called. Great company

Justin was running late but his office called me several times to let me know what was happening. They even deducted the travel charge from my bill for not being able to meet the appt time. Justin arrived and began clearing the drains we were having a problem with while he gave us options on what we could do to prevent toilet backing up and hot water taking forever to get to back of house. He even put the quotes for the various alternatives on the bill so we could plan out what to do first. I have used Scotto's often and they always get A's from me. They are good at what they do and treat you right.

We found Scotto's on Angie's List and called because of their good reviews. We signed up to the water heater special posted on the Angie's List site. Setting up the appointment was easy, friendly and professional. Our technician was knowledgible and professional and rebuilt our AO Smith water heater which likely had never been serviced (we have just moved into this condo). At that time we signed up for Scotto's Platinum Service Plan which includes an annual checkup as well as discounts and special service (includes never having to wait more than 2 hours for a technician). Little did we know that we would need this service just six days later. We discovered we had a faulty main water valve coming into our condo. It would require the condo turning off water service to other owners so coordinating the replacement of the valve was critical. We set up the date and time and Kevin, the technician, was precisely on time and worked with the condo maintenance person to insure everything was taken care of. We cannot think of one shortcoming with our first two experiences with Scotto's and they will be our plumber of choice for the future.
